We love Western Wag just as much as our pup Pepper does. She gets the major butt wiggles as we walk up for drop off and is always so happy and tired when we pick her up! We are so grateful to Molly and her crew.

Molly and her team are excellent and take such good care of my boy Eero. He’s been doing two days a week since the beginning of June and loves it.

The noise from this place is out of hand. Dogs are barking for a long time. It's not a bark here and there while they play, it's dogs barking for more than 20 minutes, with no interruption. It starts at 7.30 and goes throughout the day. I've lived near Wicker Park dog park and the noise was nothing like what comes from Western Wag. I knew living on Western Ave would be noisy, but this business has no consideration for local residents who need to work from home.

Molly is super accommodating to last minute or special requests. And has a genuine concern for her pack. Whenever our dog is not feeling well, she offers up any knowledge or supplements to aid our old boy. I really appreciate WW professional and empathetic services.

Update - We've witnessed staff drag dogs across the yard by their collars, spray them with a hose and yell "hey, no" over and over to split dogs up and try to get them to stop barking. Large groups of all sizes of dogs are kept together and fighting is happening more frequently. NOT the positive things they claim on the website about experienced handlers, balanced groups or loving environment. Don't send your dogs here. Dogs are left outside in the yard for extended periods of time with nothing to do so they just bark constantly. Sometimes it sounds like the dogs are fighting. The people working there, who are paid to look after the dogs, just stand around looking at their phones. The dogs are clearly bored with nothing to occupy them so they bark, for hours at a time. The constant barking is very annoying for residents in the area.

They walk my basset hound and she attends daycare occasionally. I’ve been super happy with the service and care. I also appreciate that they will help out with foster dogs as well (assuming you book something for your dog)!

10/10 recommend to anyone in the neighborhood. Molly is super responsive & daycare feels more personal vs larger places in the city. We are moving out & sad to have to find a new place for our dog.

To start, dogs are great, love them. And from all the other reviews it seems the people working here also love them. The 2 stars is for that. The issue is the amount of noise coming from this daycare. There’s another review mentioning this where 5 people (other nearby neighbors) have liked the review, so it’s an obvious problem to the neighborhood. Dogs bark sometimes, that’s fine. The problem is how much and how long they bark in the outdoor area. It’s to the point to where it feels very inconsiderate to nearby neighbors. There’s often a single or a couple dogs barking for a half an hour straight or more, often starting fairly early in the morning. It’s distracting and difficult to withstand for anyone currently working from home. Western Wag, from the other reviews you’re obviously a cherished part of the neighborhood by many of your clients. It’d also be great to have you be appreciated by everyone in the neighborhood so you can become a staple of the neighborhood for the years to come. Getting a handle on the noise would do that.

I can’t say enough good things about Molly and the Western Wag crew. We have been taking our dog here for a couple of months now and he absolutely loves it, whether it’s for daycare during the day or overnight boarding. The behavioral improvements our anxious, high energy rescue boy has made since in his sociability both with other dogs and people are incredible. You can tell they all go out of their way to really get to know you and especially your pups, down to celebrating their birthdays and “gotcha” days with them! Plus, they’re constantly posting pictures on their social media pages so you can check in on your dogs all day long. Molly is so transparent and caring and professional, she even made sure to let me know personally when my pup had once vomited while in their care (to no fault of theirs and due to nothing serious! He had shredded up and ingested bits of a toy at home the evening before that irritated his stomach) but I endlessly appreciated the honesty of the head’s up. We could truly never imagine trusting anywhere else!

Western Wag is absolutely amazing! Our dog loved every second of his time there. We have taken him to both daycare and boarded him and cannot say enough about how wonderful Molly and the Western Wag team are. Molly makes it so easy to book and really takes the time to get to know your dog and ease them into the daycare and boarding process. As a pet owner it made me feel so comfortable and at ease knowing I was leaving my pup with such a great team. Their location is great - easy to get to and they keep the number of dogs attending on the smaller size so you don’t have to worry about not getting your dog in for boarding. We are so glad we found Western Wag and wouldn’t want to take our dog anywhere else!

We've used Western Wag for daycare, boarding, and walks since it opened in 2019 and we couldn't be more satisfied. Molly's always willing to go above and beyond for the owners and dogs and we know that our pup will be well taken care of.

Molly and the entire WW team are absolutely incredible! My dog drags me the entire mile to Western Wag because he is so excited to go to daycare. Molly is so sweet and truly cares for all her clients. She has gone above and beyond for us countless times--we wouldn't send our dog anywhere else!

We are over-the-moon in love with Western Wag. Our dog, Bootsie, is obsessed with Molly and team who care for her with such warmth. We would like to note several aspects of Western Wag that make it special: 1) very professional and responsible: our dog is not exactly an "easy" dog given her prior life on the streets. Western wag keeps her safe and is very sensitive to her particular anxieties 2) Western wag is so responsive and flexible. there have been a number of times that I got called into work urgently and had to scramble to get Bootsie a walk and Molly has always been there. Same goes for cancelling when we get home from work early 3) Western wag makes our dog feel special: she receives treats, Christmas presents, portraits, and healthy supplements as gifts 4) I would like to point out that the overwhelming positivity of these comments should certainly be taken with more weight than the one negative review. We could write more and more below, but if anyone is looking for high quality, reliable, fabulous dog walking/boarding/sitting, this is your place.

Being a new dog mom, I was very picky when it came to where I was going to drop my pup for day care. Molly and her team made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and Pax our pup, absolutely LOVED his time there. I love that they have an outdoor area with a pool and I knew when Pax was with them, I'd be able to keep updated through their instagram posts! On Pax's last day, Molly and her team threw him a going away party and gave us a bunch of treats with a cute little goodbye note. Since moving it's been so tough to find another dog day care that comes close to Western Wag's standards. I would highly recommend Western Wag to anyone considering daycare!

A beautiful facility staffed by compassionate, knowledgeable people that love dogs as though they were their own!

We used Western Wag for both daycare and dog walking, so they were interacting with my pets 5 days a week. They are very professional and Molly and staff truly care about the dogs, and the dogs love them back. I would highly recommend them for any service!

This place is all over horrible. Do not give them your business, total waste of money.

I have been taking my pup here daycare for months and recently did boarding for a week when we had to travel. My dog and I love this place! My dog knows where we are going and gets so excited to see her friends (human and dog) that she sprints to the door. I love the staff and owner because they love my dog so much. I trust them implicitly and it makes me feel safe dropping her off. Really recommend all the services.

There is no comparison to the care Molly gives her pack. Our dog loves seeing her and her staff, and she always goes beyond to spoil the pups. She’s calmed me when he’s sick, when he’s moody, and she has a resource for just about anything. She’s become like extended family- couldn’t live without her help!

It's a great place to take your animals to when you need some quite time at home

Western Wag does it all and does it all well! The dog walking service is great and there's a lot of flexibility and communication, they're even great with super last minute requests! The daycare is great too, they do a good job of understanding the dogs and making sure each dog is comfortable in their environment, and there are a lot of staff there each day. There's a lot of outside time and they are super flexible on full or half days and if you live close enough they will even pick up or drop off your pup for you. I haven't done boarding yet, but it is staffed 24/7 which is really nice. Molly is incredibly passionate and responsive, we've really enjoyed working with her and Western Wag!

Amazing place! Our dog goes to daycare and receives the occasional walk. He is to the point that we cannot walk by the business because he wants to go in! Such a great establishment and staff!

We use Western Wag for their walking service. We couldn't ask for better care and always get informative updates. They tailored their service to our dog's individual needs and really do treat your dog as their own.

Our beagle Scotch has been going to daycare since Molly and the team opened in April and he could not be happier. He is so excited to play with his friends each time (furry and human). Molly and her team do such a fantastic job loving on and caring for the pups. We are so thrilled to have Western Wag in the neighborhood! Anyone in the Humboldt Park area needing great reliable daycare or walks must go in for a visit you will not be disappointed!

If I could give more stars I would! Truly amazing, Molly gives the love and care to our pup as if it were her own. Our dog has never been more excited about going to a daycare!
