We've used urban tailz a few times for our cat while out of town and every time has been great! They are very responsive and the website is easy to use to chat with them about anything. It's so nice that the sitter will write an in depth review of how your pet is doing and send pictures! Our cat has to take medication and that hasn't been an issue any time. Would definitely recommend!

Urban Tailz is hands down the best dog-walking service I’ve ever used. I cannot sing their praises loudly enough. They’ve been taking care of our sweet Lab mix, Julep Lee, for nearly 4 years—and for most of that time Kyle was her walker, until he moved out of state. The walkers Urban Tailz hires are topnotch, and Julep is always SO excited when her walker shows up to take her out and about. I love that the walkers take pictures during each walk and send us a report with a little story about how the walk went. It’s also easy to reschedule or cancel walks within their app. It can be hard to trust strangers with your dog, but we know that Julep is always in good hands with her Urban Tailz walker—she comes back tired and with a big smile on her face every time. If you’re looking for a reliable, responsive dog walking service and a dedicated walker, you cannot go wrong with Urban Tailz.

I love Urban Tailz! Although my partner and I work from home, my partner has chronic pain issues and I am in tons of meetings throughout the day, so Urban Tailz has really made my life easier. It’s so easy to schedule with them, even when it’s last minute. Taro has a habit of picking up trash on the street, and all of his dog walkers have done a great job of keeping him safe. They are so loving with him - I can tell he has a great time. Also, their adventure walks are my favorite service! It’s so great that they are able to get the dogs out having fun in more natural habitats. I can tell from all the pictures that Taro is truly living his best life on his adventures. He always sleeps for hours after he comes back! And as you can tell, they take amazing photos! Special shout out to Jillian who I think is Taro’s favorite :)

We adopted our dog Schmoo in April and knew we would eventually return to the office and need dog walking during they day. I reached out to several dog walking services with a lengthy description of Schmoo, most notably that he is quite afraid of strangers. I knew from Urban Tailz response that they would be the right place for us. The owners have a rescue dog as well and totally understood Schmoo's anxiety. One of the managers, Paige, walks our dog every single time. She is going to introduce him slowly to another walker so that there will always be someone available that he knows. We got married last week and needed someone to watch Schmoo for 10 days. Urban Tailz let us know about 4 weeks ahead of time that our walker, Paige, would be the one moving in and staying with Schmoo! This was a huge bonus since we and Schmoo both already know her. She sent fantastic updates, and we returned to a happy dog and clean house (maybe cleaner than we left it?). It is more expensive than some other dog sitting services, but the professionalism and communication gave us peace of mind that, at the risk of being extremely cheesy, was priceless during our wedding week.

Still early on in our dog walking relationship, but very personalized service! Love the pictures and professionalism of this place. Walkers and managers are definitely dog and cat people, our Dane Puppy loves them! Keep it up UT!

Urban Tailz was an amazing company to use for our puppy. We got married 2 weeks ago and we couldn’t have imagined our special day without him. Urban Tailz paired us up with an incredible dog watcher/sitter Jeff. He was able to get him to our venue to take photos before the ceremony and spoil him at our home overnight for a few days. They sent updates regularly, communication was on point , and made us feel like he was in the best hands. We couldn’t have imagined a better time for our pup. We highly recommend any dog owner to use Urban Tailz.

We got our pup a year and a half ago and we were so worried about who would walk him and who we would let into our home. We found urban tailz and it was the best decision. Our walker Willy was amazing. He always kept us updated on how Ollie did and always kept us in the loop. We know Ollie loved him based off of the pictures they sent. He always had a huge smile on his face. The app they use is super easy and user friendly and everyone I’ve talked too is so nice and accommodating. We are so sad they can’t move with us. We would use their service forever if we could. I highly recommend urban tailz.

The ladies at urban tailz take such good care of my puppy Harlow! I love that the same walker (shout out to Kelly!) comes most days but on days she’s off I know Harlow is still in great care! They send cute pics and updates so I know how Harlow is doing. I’ve watched Harlow greet Kelly on the furbo and she is SOOOO excited to see her. They are also incredibly flexible which is amazing for my schedule. Highly recommend!

When I reached out to Urban Tailz 5.5 years ago when I adopted my pup, I had no idea that they would become a reliable staple in my life. Marilla has some anxieties about new people, so UT worked to find a walker (and a sub) that she could trust and feel safe with. Sean became like family and treated Marilla as his own for nearly 4 years (4 years!). He made it possible for me to go to work each day and know that Marills was always in the best hands. When the pandemic hit, Urban Tailz handled it with such diligence and care - assuring that their walkers and clients were as safe as possible. I couldn't have been prouder to be affiliated with them. I can't recommend them enough. Last week I moved out of the city, and Sean was one of the toughest goodbyes. Marills & I are going to miss his visits so much. Urban Tailz/Sean, if you ever start taking walks in the suburbs, please let me know. :)

Where do I begin with our love for Urban Tailz? I did quite a bit of research on dog walkers before hiring one, and let me tell you - there are enough horror stories out there to scare you off forever. After continuously reading positive reviews and receiving glowing recommendations from neighbors, we went with UT for our then 4 month old golden retriever / lab mix. I was hesitant to let a stranger into my house AND to let them take my fur baby out for a walk, but it was the best decision we ever made! Right off the bat, they made us feel so, so comfortable. We were paired with UT dog walker Brenda, who is truly a godsend. Our dog is an adorable, sweet, loving psychopath. Heavy Emphasis on the psychopath. But Brenda is PERFECT with our girl - calm, cautious, and so so sweet. She is our pup’s best friend. I never ever worry when she’s out on a walk, and Brenda is always so good about any extra requests or care that she needs. Both we and our pup absolutely adore her and the whole UT crew. Long story short, we could not recommend them enough!! They are absolutely wonderful in every way!

I have never been so impressed or appreciative. I had a debilitating injury, and this company has come to my rescue to walk my dog when I needed it most, which has been two months thus far. The kindness, care and professionalism is unprecedented. I would recommend them hands down over any other companies I’ve experienced in the last 20 years.

We have recently started working with Urban Tailz and love our experience! Ben is our dog walker and is fantastic and takes great care of our dog, Milo. We have the peace of mind that Milo is safe with Ben. He listens to any concerns and takes added precautions. He sends photos and description of experience of the walks and also the GPS route of the route they took for the walk. Highly recommend Urban Tailz!

I can’t say enough great things about Urban Tailz. We have used their walking services for the past 4 years and every walker has cared for our dog as if he was their own. The team is incredibly responsive in case of last minute requests or schedule changes and flexible to make sure your needs are met. They have implemented a Covid safety protocol to avoid cross contamination and to ensure the safety of their clients and walkers. This has been followed strictly since spring 2020. Urban Tailz always goes above and beyond to make sure the needs of their clients are met. I recommend them highly for waking and pet sitting needs.

I cannot recommend this company enough!! We have worked with UrbanTailz for the last 5-6 years - and they have walked both of our dogs during this time. We have been incredibly happy with their services - the walkers have all been very professional and loving with our dogs, and we always felt confident that they were in the best of hands. Urban Tailz is the best pet sitting service in Chicago. I have used two other companies previously and always came home from vacation to stressed out cats, which tells me they weren't getting much attention. With Urban Tailz, my cats are super happy when I get home! Urban Tailz communicates very well and provides detailed updates every day!

After impulsively adopting a puppy we realized we needed someone to help let her out while we were at work. Corinne responded within hours of us reaching out and helped coordinate a socially distant meeting to get to know our dog and our routines. Amanda has been letting our puppy Sofie out 3x a day and always keeps us updated with a summary of her visit and with pictures of Sofie. She has been very flexible with several cancellations on our side, and she has also been the only person who has taken Sofie out, which is huge for helping get Sofie into a routine. We've had a great experience with Urban Tailz thus far. We'd recommend them to anyone!

My walker is 100% reliable and we all love her. In addition, she is responsive and flexible, and great at meeting my needs. Since I have old and sick dogs, this is very important. I'd recommend Urban Tailz to anyone.

I love Urban Tailz. We have the same walker unless they are on vacation. They are careful to follow my preferences and instructions. The online site allows me to easily adjust the schedule, add/remove instructions, and contact personnel. My dog underwent surgery and went from a regular walk to very diminished ability and needing extra care just to go outside - walker had to put on a boot and raincoat to keep dressing dry. They did it every time no problem. Walker is always good to communicate anything that happened and keep an eye out (“Argo was out of sorts this morning, can you tell me how he seems to you?”) and since we have the same walker, they have a sense for how he is regularly. I got a sense the company tried to do right by their dog walkers when we went into lockdown, as best they could, and I respect that. I like to see businesses that do not treat employees as things to be used. I highly recommend them. I feel their walkers are skilled, compassionate pet lovers and the company is ethical.

(Urban Tailz without a doubt saved my pup’s life!) After college, I took a dog walking job at Urban Tailz because I love dogs, and I wanted a “fun” job! On the employee end, they were by far the best, most kind people I have ever worked for. Had my career path not been in a different direction, I would definitely still be there today. The care & attention to detail they took with training me, and introducing me to the new fur clients was amazing - I never felt like I was in over my head & was given all the necessary tools to make sure everyone’s fur baby was happy and safe. Fast forward two years later, I reached out to Urban Tailz to walk my own furbaby while I was at work. I had bounced around with other dog walking companies & was never quite satisfied. So I was within their service area again I immediately knew I had to get in touch. My dog was paired with an amazing dog walker, who he absolutely loved, I could tell by how excited he was every time he saw her! And on one day, he seemed a little off. He had thrown up in his crate after I left home & was super lethargic. His walker messaged me ASAP & I received a call/voicemail as well letting me know that my pup was in bad shape. My boyfriend left work right away to take him to the vet - he thankfully got there just in time. We found out that he had aspirated and was severely dehydrated from stress. Without the quick intervention he received, the vet said he would have been worried for the outcome had we not noticed. I am so thankful that it was Urban Tailz that was there for my pup. I know in my heart had we been with anyone else, the situation would have played out much differently. I am forever grateful for this amazing group of animal lovers. If you’re considering them - don’t think anymore! They’re the right choice!

I have been using Urban Tailz for a few weeks and they're great. Walkers send photos and updates, my dog loves his walker and communication could not be easier. I recently adopted my pup from a shelter and wanted to give him some consistency, i.e. the same walker every time. I used wag once and tldr it was a disaster (completely their fault, didnt even get to meet my dog), plus my dog is very friendly so my walker is able to allow my dog to socialize on walks, something wag/rover cant do. They are the best! I've used Urban Tailz to watch my cat when I've been out of town for a year now, and I highly recommend them. I can always tell Lulu has been well taken care of when I get back. In addition to taking great care of Lulu, they keep my apartment safe. Once I left a door unlocked, and the sitter Rich let me know and locked it for me. Recently, another sitter, Joanna, let me know she smelled gas and went above and beyond in dealing with it. She even called the gas company and got Lulu ready to go in case they had to evacuate. I really trust them. Plus their online booking system and invoicing is really easy to use!
