I have two trouble dogs. Both wonderful but get stressed when taking a bath. Team at Urban Pooch were wonderful and kind, helping us all though the process and getting my guys clean. Will go back.

Our 1-year old pup has been going to their Enrichment day care for awhile mow. She loves coming here and gets excited on the drive up. They do a great job of stimulating the dogs brain as much as physical activity and play. Highly recommend.

Oh my gosh. Everyone here was so kind in helping me with stressed out dog after we found out that wasn't just rain on a newly paved road but also tar/asphalt. They helped with combing and shaving tar off her leg and belly fur. Gave me recommendation to work on paw cleaning with a soak and Dawn soap which worked well. Plus excellent recommendation to put some peanut butter on the tub's edge to keep her distracted and soaking. I highly recommend visiting for the kind animal care provided here

Has a really great store and nice staff. Dogs love being boarded there.

I feel like we wasted our money here. We are almost done with puppy training. Every single class my partner and I feel stressed coming out of. The trainers don't really work with you at all, their only response seems to be "throw treats at them". We have tried classes with two different trainers and don't feel like we got any value out of these classes that we couldn't have gotten out of a Youtube Video. They just talked at us and didn't address normal issues. Again just "throw treats to distract them". Have found another trainer in the Chicago area that seems to be way more worth the time and money. Will not be returning.

Excellent agility classes..Jim is very experienced and encourages and trains not only the pups but the owners as well.

Agility classes are 10 mins of actual training, and 50 mins of the dog being in a crate while you sit next to it. I would expect more training when paying $195 for 6 classes and feels like a waste of my time to drive there. We also get no type of homework that could add on to the little training time we get.

Love this place! Always a stop for us after a fun and muddy play at the dog park!! They make it easy to come in and give your dog a 10 minute bath. (Thx too to Mutt Jackson for the dog washes!l)

I've brought my puppy here several times for hourly daycare. He always comes back exhausted, so I know he's enjoying himself. This facility no longer does the hourly daycare, however. Surprisingly extensive selection of toys and treats inside the daycare.

Urban Pooch is colorful, fun and offers a huge variety of classes for your dogs.

We started with puppy playtime and agility training which were fantastic. Now for the last two months we are training and levels and really love it. We have learned a ton and I see a big difference in my pup’s behavior. Love all the trainers and so does my pup. Have referred friends to take classes here.Thank you all.

Urban pooch is filled with associates who enjoy their jobs with dogs. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic dog agility training in the city. Jim is the best!

Really wanted to love this place and did for awhile. Was verbally harassed by a trainer several time who also tormented my highly anxious dog. Was told management was taking care of the situation but never did. Have also been hearing very alarming things in regard to their treatment of employees during the covid situation and am truly disgusted.

Great place to introduce your puppy to other puppies and get training on basic commands.

The best place for training! I've tried training classes before and Urban Pooch was the only one that worked for us. In addition, they have a small but mighty retail area that opens earlier than most stores just in case you realize you don't have any breakfast for your pet when you wake up:) LOVE HAVING THEM IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!

The employees are pretty chill especially the manager Brittany.

Urban Pooch is the best! Our puppy loves spending daycare time here. The staff is lovely and very attentive.

Instructors are quite knowledgeable, classes are fun, and building is clean! A place where they truly love training dogs! What could be better than that?

I took my senior dog, Butch to this location and the staff was always so friendly. He was toward the end of his life, and they treated him like their own. They told me he hung out in the office, and would get special attention since he wasn't really able to romp around with the other pooches! When he passed away I immediately received a card in the mail expressing their sympathy. Hands down the best place <3 I now have another pug named JoJo who will be getting her first socialization there. The team at Urban Pooch really cares.

Great space, lots of pupper activities - friendly staff. One of the few places that carries the bougie food my mom feeds her pup!????????

If you ever want to see a happy dog, watch our boy, Duke, when we ask him if he wants to go to Urban Pooch! First great thing -- he LOVES it!. Second, this is an exceptionally professional and responsive staff. They know the dogs and their humans by name and you just know that you and your dog are important to them. Finally, their "Levels" training approach is superbe! I've been an educator for over 40 years and I will tell you this is THE BEST! Thanks, Urban Pooch!

I have been taking my dogs to urban Pooch training Center for five years now. I have attended puppy classes, agility, tricks class, and private lessons. Every person I have met there genuinely cares about the welfare of my dogs and helping me be the best caretaker I can be. I have learned so much from them. And whenever I have had a concern about my dogs behavior, they have met with me and helped me come up with a plan that works for both me and my dogs. I am so thankful for having this place so near.

Karen did a great job making sure that our beloved Beau learned the skills needed to help him make better decisions and control his impulses. The charm school class is a great value and we now have tools we can use throughout our dogs lives.
