I took my Aussiedoodle puppy to Urban Canine to be groomed and they did a great job! Tony was very friendly and communicative. My dog had some mats, so they had to cut his hair shorter than I’d asked. Unlike some places, they called to let me know first, which I really appreciated and the cut still looked great. My dog and I both left happy! I’ll definitely be returning to UC for future grooms.

Urban Canine treated my doodle Baxter like their own! 10/10 experience. He developed hematoma’s on his ears from excess matting (my fault - should’ve been groomed sooner), and they were nice enough to loan me a cover for his ears so he wouldn’t shake them as much (for free!). They groomed him amazingly and quick. I am so impressed by their customer service and how well they took care of Baxter. They were thorough with updates and did a wonderful job. Baxter will be coming back again and again! We love you Urban Canine!

If you have a Doodle, don’t bring them here. They do not brush them out and instead opt for the quicker route of shaving them down. The shave job itself wasn’t good either, inconsistent length, and can see my dogs skin in places. All this for the $100. Won’t be coming back.

Hi, super anxious dog mom here! Honey does not let me cut her nails let alone get to her teeth. (She’s a nipper) She always runs away when it’s bath time. I was so nervous about dropping her off somewhere and this was her first time ever going to the groomers, but Tyler was so reassuring and when I picked her up she looked like she wanted to stay longer lol and she loves her new bandana. 10/10 experience.

Avoid the mess and hassle washing your dig at home. Clean facility with a wide range of shampoos and conditioners for your pup!

Brought my dog in for a nail trim and they did a great job. Very patient with him. 10/10 recommend!

I’m not really sure what happened when I brought my dog here today. Every part of him looks great but I get so sad when I look at his face. I was really impressed with the customer service until I saw my pup. No one said anything about it to me when I went to pick him up. I don’t think we’ll be going back :(

Fantastic Groomer's. They take such good care of my dogs and ACTUALLY LISTEN to my instructions of what I want. They treat my doggies very well and they come back to me looking great!

Our pup had a total makeover and we loved it! I was asked many questions at check in to make sure they knew what I wanted, and they were pretty quick, too! We are completely satisfied. Our last groomer up north left a lot to be desired but UC did a wonderful job! We feel like we have a new terrier dog! ????????♥️

Our great pyrenees came back looking more beautiful than ever. This place did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back.

Thank you, Tony, for always caring for my pups! They come back happy and sparkly clean each time. He's also very accommodating for the occasions I'm calling day-of, desperate to bring my stinky pups in. :) Reasonable pricing, too, for my 140-lb bullmastiff and 30-lb puggle. Worth every penny!

I took my dog to get her nails done and yes she is difficult but I expected the service to be done. I paid and left and noticed three nails not done when I got home. I called back and they offered to try to cut them again but said they “couldn’t guarantee that they would get the nails done.” Not the service I expected. I would have appreciated an apology and/or at least to have told me those nails were not able to get trimmed at the time of the service. Disappointed in the customer service.

I adore this place for Misty just got her summer cut and she looks cute. (She loves the phrase cute). Great people, reasonably priced, on time with pickup ready time, etc. I have known them since 2003 and never dissappointed.

I'm so in love with their self dog wash. $15 per hour. No matter the size of the dog. It was a great experience and hassle free. I will be back.

I did a walk in for my dog Oliver to get his nails trimmed and they took him back immediately. Oliver is a little nervous about his paws being touched, and unfortunately got very snappy with the groomers. I was so embarrassed and felt so bad but the groomers were very sympathetic and tried their best to finish trimming his nails. They remained calm and empathetic the whole time! Much appreciated!!!!!

They were so friendly, affordable and efficient. I called for a same-day walk in service and my pug was done in one hour. Never taking him to Petsmart grooming again because I loved this place so much! Sir Winston also came home smelling like sugar cookies and dressed in an adorable little bandana!

We bring our two dogs here for self wash. Both times have been great! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. There are a variety of different brushes and soaps to make sure your dog leaves clean. Towels are also included. $25 for two dogs is a steal, especially when you don't need to clean up after!! Will definitely be returning in the future!!!

Definitely the best pet grooming salon we’ve found in Chicago, especially for our miniature schnauzers. We have three dogs, so regular grooming can be expensive. Urban Canine’s prices are incredibly reasonable given the quality of their work and obvious care for the dogs. Just one visit and we already know we’ll be long-term clients!

Our new friends at Urban Canine took really good care of our girl Arie! She was in and out in 90 minutes. Arie is a recent transplant from Detroit, and the folks over there officially converted her to a Chicago Bears fan and she loves it!

We have brought our dog here a couple times to get groomed and they are very affordably priced and do a great job. I would definitely recommend. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

Great Service. They have been taking care of my dog for years. My dog is very hard to handle as he hates to be brushed or bathed, but they do a great job with him. We dont trust our dog with anyone else. Tony is the best. Bill & Barb Schneider.
