I adopted Orca (now Basil) a week ago and I couldn’t be happier! She is so playful and curious and I’m so glad I’ve had the chance to bring her home! The staff at Tree House were so nice and helpful, and Basil and I are having such a great time.

I am an intern at this establishment and I love it here. The environment is so calm and I love the work being done here. The staff are very friendly and will answer any and all of your questions.

I adoped two cats, Tyson and Precious (now Udon and Wurlitzer) from Tree House yesterday and the experience was incredible. All of the cats were well cared for and the facility was so clean and state of the art. Everyone there was incredibly kind and ready with tons of information and could answer any and all questions. We were sent home with tons of good info as well as food and toys. Udon and Wurlitzer warmed up to us so fast and we're over the moon.

An awesome experience! This past year alone, I have adopted "stair-step kitty babies". My two guys are 8 months and 4 months. The personalities of the folks at Tree House seem to be reflected in my guys. I feel confident in saying that because over two separate occasions, I came back with guys who pal around and show concern for one another just like the gals and guys at Tree House. These two bring great joy to their human family all the day long! I highly recommend adopting from them.

If you’re looking for a place that never responds to their customers, you found it! Hire someone to answer the phones. I’ve been calling all morning and no answer. Terrible customer service.

Cat Cafe, rooftop balcony, and cats for adoption. A cat lover's dream!

We reserved the cat café for 30 minutes in the afternoon. $10 per person which comes with a drink. I got the medium roast coffee, which is actually from Intelligentsia. My kids got hot chocolate, which they both loved. Two cats had been adopted the day before, but we spent time with one very sweet and playful kitten about 7 months old. After our café time finished, we went upstairs where there are many more cats in large rooms that you can see and interact with through the glass, but can't go inside the rooms unless you have an adoption appointment. It's great just to see them all, though, and the building itself is really beautiful from an architectural perspective. The staff (volunteers?) were all really helpful and friendly. There's a small gift/goods area with lots of cat toys, plus coffee mugs, and t-shirts. My daughter got a cat-ear headband and my son actually chose a cat toy! Everyone was happy and had a great time.

Treehouse is wonderful and one of my favorite things about Chicago. Every city should be so lucky to have a place like this that cares so much for unloved kitties. I am on the foster list and care for little ones like this that need someone. If you can help Treehouse in any way, do it. These little fur babies need us.

Their adoption rooms are what cats dream of between their heated floors, large windows, and balconies for cats to watch the world go by while catching some sun and getting some fresh air

All the people working there are great, they listen to any concerns about your pet, and treat them with care.

I got two kittens from the treehouse. Magpie and mashed potato! They are Maggie and Fred now. Racing up and down the hallway at 3 in the morning tackling each other... chewing on and eating everything in sight!! Extremely healthy kittens that know where the potty box is and are super lovable! I couldn't be any happier with their kittens! Very modern facility, nice and clean, great staff!

Adopted my 4 month old kitten from famous Fido rescue and they had her spayed performed at treehouse for me including rabies shots. Treehouse was very very nice, very helpful and did a very good job on my Abby the cat!

I don’t usually write reviews for places but here it goes! Absolutely love it there brought my dog to get spayed and the whole team was so nice and very helpful. They all took care of my fur baby and made sure she was okay. The vet explained everything to me and answered all my questions. As well as the vet tech he was so careful and caring with my dog and also answered some questions. The front desk the girl was so kind and such a positive friendly attitude. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I was there last Sat. with my daughter. Was wondering why most of the cats were in cages. I remember Treehouse being a cageless shelter. I now see a lot of cages. Saw many really nice cat trees w/o the cats. Seemed strange to me. One employee said the kittens make a big mess, really?? Has the policy changed there? The coffee is very good at the cafe, worth the money.

Unbelievable....I can't believe their prices, diligence, professionalism, and excellent customer service...better than private owned clinics. They make me want to volunteer...super clean and beautiful inside. Sweetest staff.

It’s is soooo messsed up that this place is not responding. I have a momma cat and her kittens and a male cat that I can no longer take care of. Because I am moving and they don’t allow pets. I’ve called and called and finally got a answer and the lady had a whole attitude. I even tried to get them spayed and neutered before they had babies and all these animal help places are giving the run arounds. So if I just put them in a cage and leave them at a vet place I’ll be wrong ????????

They do their best to save and adopt out cats and kittens. Have adopted several over the years. Just Adopted 2 brothers, kittens recently. Unfortunately one is sicker than they realized. We will love him as long as he is with us. I just hope he makes it.

Read an article feral cats spayed and neutered, being released for rat control from this organization. Sad cats will be subject to disease. infection and danger outside in outside environment chasing rats. It appears there would be other ways to implement rat control without endangering these poor cats even more
