Sydnee's Pet Grooming Chicago, Illinois

We have been bringing our two dogs for grooming to Sydnees SLoop for the past couple years and I have never been disappointed with their services. The staff is always super nice and helpful, the dogs are groomed in a timely manner, and their establishment is always presentable. While they do book up pretty quick, we book in advance as much as we can so we can continue going to Sydnees. Thank you for taking such great care of our pups!

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and since they don’t need to have their hair cut, I usually just bathe him at home and only go to the groomers for nails and paw pads. Yesterday my puppy walked on fresh oil on the road and had hard tar stuck in his paws and underbelly - so I had to take him in to get professional help. Maria Vazquez did the bath, she was able to get him totally back to normal, and she cut the paw pads perfectly! He looked better than ever when I picked him up, and he is still soft and shiny today! I plan on making this a monthly experience, worth the $45 to get him looking nice and it includes the nails and paw pads that I need to get done anyways. I think they take really good care of the pups, 100% recommend.

Sydnee’s is the best pet grooming center I’ve been to in Chicago. They always get my Schnauzer’s Bruno cut perfect and detangle his hair with no trouble (even tho I know he hates it) they are so gentle. Alicia and Christina are super nice and helpful. Thanks so much!

Possibly the worst groomer in the city. Hold harmless documents required upon entry. That says it all….. Almost left since the groomer was 1/2 hour late and doors were locked. My dog picked up a virus there and cost ME hundreds of dollars to treat.. Go back to the Suburbs …..

So comparatively I thought pricing was a bit nickel-&-diming, being that I'd think teeth cleaning, etc, would be included. This made the experience a bit put off. However the groomers did a great job & seemed engaged, and my pet/dog appeared happy after bath & grooming, so it ended well even though pricing seemed a bit petty. We went to dinner afterwards & there were no complaints from Fiona (pittie) - she felt clean.

I paid $55 for a package that included brushing and nail clipping. They said they just couldn't clip his nails because he didn't like it which is why I pay to get them done in the first place and then I was still brushing hair out of him with my hands after getting him back. Picture is all the hair I got out of him after an hour of getting back. Overall really lazy work and they wouldn't credit me back any money for not completing the package I paid for. Very disappointing.

It was our first time trying Sydnee’s and we were so happy that we did! Our sweet little man Ferris was looking handsome and fresh. We are SO happy with his haircut. The staff was extremely caring and were thorough when asking how we wanted him to look. Ferris can be timid with other dogs and they took extra care to make sure he was comfortable. When picking him up, he didn’t want to leave! He was so busy playing with the staff in the back! I’ve never seen so many happy dogs in one place after just getting groomed. We already booked our next appointment, see you guys soon!

We only need nail trims for our dogs and we tend to just drop by when we're out running errands. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. And they do a great job!

My sidekick, Calvin, and I absolutely love Sydnee's! They take such good care of us and always make us feel welcomed. Shay is so amazing with Calvin to the point where we call her Calvin's godmother! He always comes out fresh and feeling like a million bucks. Shay has also helped us be proactive with health concerns which has kept Calvin very healthy! We appreciate that more than words can express! Thank you to Shay, Julie, and the rest of the team!

The staff people at Sydnee's are so friendly! My dog's grooming needs are minimal, so no real haircuts.

Brought my dog in to have his nails trimmer. As they were finishing up and bringing my dog back out, I overheard the person that did his nails tell Julie that they cut one of his nails short but when the Julie brought my dog back out, they said that everything went fine and that there were no problems but now the nail that they cut short has cracked opened and the nerve is fully exposed and we now need to take the dog into the vet

i took my 2 dogs here for grooming, i’m very please and happy with it, very professional they know how to treat a customer, the offer discounts for the first time, also more if you return on 30 days, i’ll be a loyal custumer !! i’ll be rating Sydnee’s at all the media for sure. i will tell my friends and neighbors about it.

Camellia Taylor!! Took my large terrier for a simple wash and ears cleaning and he came back with a botched cut. The groomer did not make herself accountable by apologizing. All she said was he needed a cut AFTER I made it clear NOT to cut my dogs hair. It’s not worth taking your dogs to Sydney’s because you’ll have to deal with unprofessionalism and not being accountable for not doing their job. My dog Casio! Who has been there three to four times!!! I have pictures to show his cut so acting like you’re not aware of this is bizarre when the groomer told me this was standard procedure to cut after a wash. Took my dog to the hospital as he was cut with razor (see mark in pic) and he got infected. But you see this is a botched cut. If you were professional and even attempted to do a decent job WHY DOES THIS CUT LOOK LIKE A TOTAL BIZARRE CUT????

A new, much needed addition to the neighborhood! Everyone is so friendly, even with my nervous pup, and the prices are much better than Kriser's or similar boutique shops. Love bringing my pup here.

I left a review on the website, but I just wanted to reiterate on here as well that this place is amazing. My fiancé and I moved to the city from the burbs a couple months ago and finally took our pup to get groomed and we're so happy we chose this place. They were so good with her. Staff was super sweet and friendly and Natalie did an AMAZING job. Her fur is the softest and shiniest it's been since she was a puppy. Prices are reasonable and service was prompt. Thank you!
