Saved my dog’s life. She had an illness that could’ve killed her overnight but they performed an emergency surgery and saved her. Forever thankful.

After we took our puppy to the ER on Saturday and spent $1,000 on tests/meds, we were beyond worried when he started showing signs of sickness again today (Monday). I called many local vets, including our primary vet, and no one would see us the same day. Thankfully I tried Paws and Feathers. They were so kind and caring on the phone, and allowed us to come in within an hour. Dr. Sarah reccomended some more tests and meds. Dr. Sarah was soo helpful in explaining what was going on with our baby, what we should look out for, how to help, etc. She truly took the time to make us feel comforted, instead of putting a ‘band-aid’ on the problem and rushing us out. THANK YOU, Dr. Sarah and the entire staff at Feathers and Paws! ????????

I cannot thank Dr Sarah and the entire staff at Paws and Feathers enough !!!! They had excellent service and were very polite, kind, and professional. My rat suffered from a mammary tumor and had to undergo surgery for its removal. Dr. Sarah was very straight forward and realistic about the expectations since my rat is a bit on the older side. Im excited so say she survived and is thriving !!!! Thank you to the entire staff for being so sweet throughout this difficult process. You have definitely gained a customer for life.

Called to get a quote on puppy teeth removal. Front desk has zero idea how much it would cost despite asking just a general average cost or she could list how much the different services would cost. Only option is you have to go in for a $90 checkup and the doctor will give you an estimate. I understand that each dog is different, but so is each clinic and how much they charge for different services. At the very least, they can say what kinds of charges there would be and how much it would be for different teeth. They were completely unhelpful

I've never had a positive experience at this veterinary clinic. They always rush us out the door and my dog Wishbone seemed to never be fully treated because in one month, I spent $500 only for him to be sick for days at a time in a row. I am not a first time dog owner and miss my old veterinary doctot so much. Don't bother with the seemingly cheap services, it isn't worth it.

I scheduled an appointment for my 11 week old puppy. This is our first time ever coming to this vet and they say I have to let them take my baby by herself. No thank you next time you should tell 1st time customers your "policy"

Dr. Sarah has consistently made room for us even when completely booked. She is thorough, kind and considerate.

Please take your pet elsewhere if you don’t want to waste your money. My dog has had skin allergies since he was 6 months old and he’s almost 2 now and this vet didn’t help. In the beginning he was doing fine on what they prescribed him but as time went on he wasn’t responding to it at all and we told them that countless times that the medication wasn’t helping my dog and they just said keep him on it. These people never answer the phone I called to get prescriptions refilled and it took weeks and they charge card and dispensing fees on top of the heavy bill and my dog has a skin infection and they sent him home with nothing and said just stay on his normal medication. I finally found a new vet and took him yesterday and it turns out he has mange and this vet never ever tested him for anything who knows my poor dog doubled had mange this whole time and we didn’t know and we’re wasting money on medication that wasn’t even for his problems. This vet is unprofessional they never answer the phone, they don’t let you go back in the exam room with your pet and in my option overcharge for heir services. Please don’t take your precious babies here it’s not worth it

I had once loved coming to this vet. But between the ridiculous wait time(and this includes pre-coivd, fyi) and unprepared staff, I will never be coming back to this vet clinic. I get covid put a strain on EVERYTHING, But waiting an 1, when I had an appointment booked and then being told I have to wait another 30-45mins, you get why I made the decision to switch while waiting outside. Dr.Sarah youre a great vet, but your staff sucks.

Dr. Sarah is tge BEST

She doesn't know anything!!! She was almost going to kill my kitty. She didn't diagnosed the my cat's illness. I waste time and money over a month because of her wrong diagnoses. My poor kitty has been in pain over a month because of her!

Dr. Sarah was very nice and gentle when we had our fur baby put to sleep. It was the hardest decision for us, but Dr. Sarah assured us, it was the best thing for her who had kidney failure. When we picked up her ashes, Dr. Sarah came to me and wanted to make sure we were doing well. Thank you to Dr. Sarah and Angie for comforting us during this difficult time.

I was looking for a place for my fur babies I have quite a few I love this place I just wanna say please be patient she is the only exotic vet working here and she busts her butt to help you in anyway she possibly can she is a great vet and a ppl person but more of a pet person

Taking your beloved pet to the vet is always stressful, but Dr. Sarah Hadzic is the person you want to be dealing with when things get rough. The pandemic hit my household hard, and Dr. Sarah worked with me on multiple occasions to devise a treatment plan that worked for my budget. This last time she shared some of her personal story and philosophy about running her business, and it just reinforced to me that she truly is an empathetic, loving person that wants to help first (and not just make a quick buck). She was so kind to me that when I got to my car I burst into tears because I was overwhelmed by her generosity in helping me during a tough time. I will go out of my way to recommend this business to everyone I know, I was that impacted by her as a person.

Dr Sarah literally saved my cat Maya’s life! Maya was bleeding for about a week now. My boyfriend and I took her to MedVet where they diagnosed her with pyometra but they wanted me to pay $7k. That was way over my budget so they suggested going to a low cost hospital to get her spayed and gave me a list. We knew it was a life or death situation so we called all of them to see if they can do same day spay and they all said no it’s all appointment only and were not until June. Which is understandable, but I was desperate. In the end I decided to call Paws and Feather’s because they had the closest appointment. We didn’t know what to expect at first and I didn’t expect them to do any kind of surgery the same day. Dr Sarah came out to meet us and told us that she can perform surgery that night as an emergency! I immediately accepted and I was SUPER GRATEFUL! Finally someone can help Maya! I couldn’t help but cry on my way home from all the stress and worry. At the same time I felt relieved. We picked up Maya the next day and I was so happy to see her! THANK YOU DR SARAH AND STAFF!!!!! You saved Maya and gave her another chance to live! We are truly grateful and appreciate all the hard work you do and continue to do!???????????????????????? They really do care and I highly recommend you taking your fur babies here!????????????????

The Veterinarian explained what was going on with my daughter's sick guinea pig.Very friendly.

Highly recommend! We absolutely love this place and everything thing about it. This is the only vet that I have found that I feel like actually cares about my dog and not just my money. I am definitely a helicopter dog mom but I 100% trust Dr. Hadzic with my baby girl. She always takes time to thoroughly explain any issues going on with Star and eases any of my worries. The staff is always very pleasant when I walk in and the place is always very clean and organized. The best part of it all is she does house calls for emergencies. I think that’s awesome and I’ve never heard of any other vets that would do that.

Dr Sarah was our dog Reggie's vet while we were living in Chicago, and she is amazing. Her love for animals shows in her work. We miss her very much (and so does reggie!)

I really like the last at the front desk. She is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable. This past visit was not the greatest because they were so far behind on their appointments, our appointment was for 530pm and we didn't finish up until 730pm and we were only there for shots. And with the pandemic they still won't let us in the room with our dog, that I'm still not happy about. But we will still go back when needed.

Love this place. Everyone is really friendly and they take care of all my fur babies.
