My pup was having allergy problems for months and once I took Luna to Kindred, they took care of it right away! They helped us fight it aggressively and in just a couple of weeks, Luna was feeling much better! Luna also has terrible anxiety when traveling and I had to take her out of town with me for the holidays. Kindred was able to give Luna safe medication to get her through it. She was drowsy but safe and relaxed. I’ll forever be grateful for how something so small can make a world of difference, not only to Luna, but to me!

First off, I wanted to give the biggest thank you in the world to Genesis at the front for helping me on one of my hardest days. I had a health emergency while my little Frenchie was at his appointment, and I wasn’t able to pick him up. She carried him in the rain the couple of blocks from Kindred to my front door. Truly, she is an absolute miracle. She deserves the world!! My puppy has gotten excellent care, but I do want to let others know that this vet is definitely on the pricier side. The x-rays were triple the cost of those taken at the emergency vet in Lincoln Park, and the bill generally is about double what I paid for my other dog at Pershing Animal Hospital in Hyde Park (I truly loved that vet too, but like many others, I was glad to have a vet in my home Pilsen!). Your pet will receive great care, but make sure you have a rainy day fund set up just in case!

Too high priced they don't treat you like someone who really cares about your dog they only care about money

I brought in my 11 year old Maltese Poodle, Ritchie as an emergency appointment. I called the office first thing in the morning and they were able to get us in that afternoon, as an emergency visit. The staff and Dr Ho were very patient and attentive with explaining what was going on with my little guy. Ritchie is feeling much better, and I’m glad we found a new Vet in Pilsen. Thank you Dr Ho and staff for the great service!

My cat had an ear infection and facial swelling. I called a lot of places to try and bring her in for a visit since she was having a lot of scratching in that area. Kindred team was very attentive in helping figure out the best treatment for my cat. There was very little wait time considering I had no appointment. I loved it here. I definitely recommend this place to trust with your fur babies. It was extremely clean and the staff was so helpful. Thank you to everyone on the team there for being able to see us on such short notice!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Kindred. I take my kitten here knowing they’re gonna take good care of him. 10/10 highly recommend.

I took my cat here a few months ago for her shots and the staff was extremely friendly and kept me updated on how she was doing during her appointment! Both times I’ve gone here they are always nice and they are also close to home ❤️

I absolutely love this vet clinic. Dr. Ho is very kind to me and my dog, Chobby. Chobby has been scratching herself to the point where she’s been bleeding, when we took her in, Dr. Ho patiently explained to me that she was allergic to flea saliva which is what causes her to bite and scratch herself so much. She explained the treatment and although it was pricey, she has not scratched or bit herself two days after providing treatment for her. I definitely will be continuing to bring Chobby at this clinic. :)

First time visit today with my 2 yr old Doberman and I honestly had a great experience. Will definitely be scheduling her next appointment with them. Staff was very friendly and detailed in answering any questions I had.

This has been the best vet I've taken my dog to, as soon as I called for my dog that had a small limp and some other issues they were able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. I was able to go through what was going on with him, they asked a lot of questions, and really took their time seeing what was wrong with him.

I took my cat to Kindred Veterinary this morning and I could not be happier with the experience. Everyone is super nice and helpful, they explain everything very well and they took care of my cat's needs. I'm so happy that we have such a nice vet clinic in Pilsen!

This place told me everything I needed to know about my cat. The staff was very warm & welcome and they treated my cat Toodle like he was one of their pets. This place works with you on the vet Bill's and that is a very great thing to know

If you love your pet, take them here! My baby boy is treated with love and like he's family. Dr. Ho is phenomenal and so is her staff!!! The girls at the front desk are so kind and friendly. I bring my pug Conchita here and I can not be happier. I brought her here all through out her pregnancy and after. Dr. Ho , and the technicians Genesis , Jasmin and Mario are always very helpful and never leave my questions unanswered. I’m very content with the service and never hesitate to leave my pets in their hands . I’m so glad to have this vet so close to my workplace . Thank you so much !

I brought in my dog Benito on somewhat of an emergency. He had an inflamed eye and our usual vet wasn’t able to be reached. I really appreciated the responsiveness and how quickly they squeezed us in. They took great care or him, and within just a day his eye is looking so much better and he is far less irritated. For all the tests and additional preventative care he got done, the price was great! I can’t thank you all enough for the wonderful care you provided me and my pup. ❤️

I am always willing to give new local business a try, and I was so glad I did with Kindred Vet. From a warm greeting at drop-off to a 30-minute conversation with a very knowledgeable vet to a check-out with a technician that gave detailed instructions on meds, everything was as good as I could have hoped for during a first appointment.

Have been seeing Dr. Ho for many years and was thrilled to hear about the opening of the new clinic so close to my own home. No.longer the dog mom as my girl Daisy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 1st. But I have recommended the clinic to numerous friends and family as well. Dr. Ho is so knowledgeable and caring that I could not think of a time she has not been there for me or my dogs in the past. Always one to give sound advice, not looking to make a buck off of it by any means, this place is a gem and I hope to see the new place flourish.

I brought in my poor girl cat who fall out of a 3 stories as an emergency, and she got all the necessary medical attention that she needed the moment when I knocked on Kindred Veterinary’s door. All the staffs and doctors are so friendly and knowledged that I know my cat is in good hands. I am so grateful for this around the corner veterinary that saved my cat from this traumatized experience, and so glad to figure out that this place can be an easy reach for any follow up and routine examinations to save efforts for both me and my cat from long communications. Will definitely come back in the future.

I experienced a very unfortunate and frightening incident at Kindred Vet on 5/22/21. I know this message is long, but if you love your dogs and have the time, PLEASE READ! I was waiting for my dog to be called in (staff was running 15 min behind for my appt, and it was too sunny and hot outside for my dogs), when I noticed dog owners bring their bloody dog out of a mini-van to be checked in by a staff member. Staff member took the injured dog inside, then someone finally came outside to check my dog in for her appt. This staff member not only took my info thru the front entrance door while propping the door open with her body, but the injured dog whom was still in the lobby behind her with a staff member, escaped out of the front door! He tried to get pass me. While still holding my two dogs leashes in left hand, and without blinking an eye, I grabbed the injured dog with my entire body and arm to prevent him from fleeing. It was an impulsive decision and even though I didn't get hurt, I couldn't imagine letting this poor, scared dog get passed me. Anything could've happened to him if he got away. I got blood all over me but I didn't care. Staff came running to the door. There was no leash on the dog, even though staff said there was. It took a few others to get him back inside the vet center. THANKFULLY, he was saved from the unforeseen. The veterinarian called me to follow up, and make sure I didn't get hurt and to ask my thoughts on this horrible incident. I insisted that the dog's owners be notified of the incident, because if I were that dog's owner I would definitely want to know. The vet also said there will be retraining of all staff members, and the owner would be known of the situation. This was only the second time I brought my older dog to Kindred, and although I was very excited to introduce my dogs to a new vet center so close to home, I have decided that I will not return; I cannot, and will not, risk any kind of unfortunate incident with my dogs. My dogs are my babies, and I would not forgive myself if anything were to happen to them because of someone else's neglect or lack of training/knowledge.

Great veterinary team and great prices! My kitten has been having diarrhea lately and is still on the road to having it clear up, but the team has left such a great impression on me that I have to leave a review! The technicians and receptionists are so sweet and personable, and although I’ve been unable to go inside with my kitten, Rosette, I know she’s in good hands with the team. I am a college student also work a part time job, so in between my online classes and work days there have been a few times where I’m unable to answer a phone call or pick up medicine, and the team has been great about leaving me voicemails or arranging for me to be able to pick up my kitten’s medicine on the next day. When I came to pick up my medicine today, the woman who answered my phonecall even said that they were just thinking about calling me to remind me! When I was given my medicine as well, it was also already measured out and placed into syringes for me to give to my kitten, which I thought was so helpful and thoughtful. Their prices are great as well, and for my first visit I only paid $60, and I got both a deworm and a stool test!! My other friends who have cats told me that they’ve paid $70+ for a stool test alone. I’ll definitely be making them my regular vet, and I’m so glad I took the chance on the team despite them being pretty new and having few reviews!

I'm super glad to say that I finally found the perfect place to bring my baby for her checkups! Since day one they have attended me great. Dr. Ho and the staff answered all my questions. They cared so well of my dog. I highly recommend this place, your pup will thank you!
