Love the vet. She was so nice and took her time with me answering all the questions I had. The uptown location is by far the nicest, and there’s also free parking in the back. So convenient.

Great, I love this place. Whole stuff is awesome. Dr. Flanigan is the best she took Great care of our furdother Maika till she went to heaven. Now she is taking care of our baby girl Susu. We hope to be with them for years to come.

I was pleased with the high standard of care. Dr. Trefil took the time to listen to my concerns and provide helpful suggestions. I appreciated their transparency about pricing and additional costs ahead of the service.

I had my first visit with my new cat and love this place! The clinic itself is set up so well - very clean and chic (I kind of just want to hang out there all day!). Every employee I've interacted with is always extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Services are timely and they handled my cat with great care.

To the Staff of GoodVets Uptown... Thank you for your help and the incredible professional guidance about all the options for what's we could do for our sweet Tigger. My sweet Tigger meant so much to our family and it was so nice to interact with a caring staff who clearly care about animals. Thank you to everyone who helped! Go there people. Those folks are compassionate and care.

Great manners with my cat! My cat seemed so excited to be there and did not even care about the vaccinations. Everyone was so friendly. The clinic was clean and the whole process went over smoothly and quickly. Will definitely be back here for future vaccinations and appointments with my cat

I had a great experience! As a new patient, scheduling was a breeze and I was able to book an appointment for the following week. The tech and vet were very nice and welcoming. I also really appreciated being allowed to come in with my pet during the appointment. Other veterinary locations I looked into refused to allow pet parents into the office during this time.

I was very thankful that they were able to find an appointment slot for her as a new patient who is very unwell. The doctor was very nice and great with her. She answered all of my questions, and I felt a great sense of relief having gotten her looked at so quickly. Finding an early appointment slot for her as a new patient

They fit my cat in because she was having diarhea and I was worried, first for a drop off, then when an in person appointment opened, they called to see if I'd want to switch. The communication here was really great - with the above, during the visit itself, and after when I couldn't answer the phone to hear test results - I got a detailed voicemail and also an email. I'm grateful that they have in person visits, masked of course in line with the mandate. I understand some vets prefer drop off visits only, but here for instance they sent me home with a bag of fluids i could administer for my cat and showed me how to do it - how would you do that over the phone? You wouldn't. They were great.

Very clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff. So glad to have found them for our cats. The office itself is well appointed and smells great every time we go. They even offer bottled or sparking water as well as masks to keep everyone safe.

The staff were extremely friendly and Ralph was so comfortable. The vet tech and doctor were very informative and left no questions unanswered. They truly care. The vet was truly caring and was upfront in regards to any additional costs. Also, the wellness plans are beyond worth it!

I haven't taken our pet there yet. But I will say this -- there are signs everywhere at Challenger Bark dog park that GoodVets Uptown sponsors the upkeep of the park. Yet the park went all summer with a broken valve for the water, doesn't appear to have been restocked on doggie bags since 2019, has increasingly worn dog gates, and a whole host of things that indicate poor, if any, maintenance. GoodVets Uptown should either take their sponsorship to heart and actually provide the supplies Challenge Bark needs to remain clean and attractive, or someone should take it upon themselves to remove the advertising GoodVets gets for apparently no contribution at all to the wellbeing of the community.

I would not recommend. I know your front desk staff is busy but don't try to rush me off the phone. I was calling about a serious issue with my cat. Tried to get an appointment, but was told that my cats vet wouldn't be in for a couple of days. I asked Also why can't another vet at your practice see my cat? I was told that they try to keep the pets with the same vet. I've been to other vets with another cat and I've never had a problem seeing another vet in the same 'practice '. I sent them an email asking them to take me off their mailing/email list because my cat died. No sympathy, just okay we will take you off.

Really no way this place is rated this well. The whole visit was a sales pitch, they over charged me, and only after getting the receipt to my email would I have known so I had to go back in and get a refund. The place was empty when I went as well and it took over 2 hours for a wellness visit because of how much they were trying to sell. I will drive out to the suburbs to my old vet and it will still take less time and frustration.

the vets are condescending and try to push you to do/get shots and treatments. my dogs had gotten rabies shots at a different vet about a month before their wellness visit at goodvets and i couldn’t find the record on their profile. the vet tech insisted multiple times that they didn’t have the vaccine and TOLD me that i was going to have to get the rabies vaccine for them that day if they couldn’t find records even though i was in the room when the shots were administered. i just needed to look a little further into my emails to find it. they didn’t make me feel welcome and i wanted to leave as soon as the vet tech spoke to me. they are quick to charge you for everything. the only nice person there was the receptionist, she was very patient when i was looking for the records and even offered to help me.

I came to Good Vets Uptown after an incredibly frustrating experience with another neighborhood vet. Historically, even during my time in Denver, I struggled to find a transparent, responsive, and reliable vet. That search came to a successful end when I signed my pup up at GoodVets. Not only did they listen to me and review the medical records from prior vets (yes, this was a problem with the other vet), they talked to me for more substantive history of my pup and didn't make me feel like a "clingy" pet parent with just standard questions on vaccines and the other routine stuff. In fact, it was the first time they didn't make this undergraduate science grad feel like I was incompetent. Their wellness plan is one of the best I have found to the extent that I even discontinued pet insurance for wellness purposes and kept it for accident only reasons. It is so worth the $88 a month to walk in, get your stuff, and go. Just a few days ago, my pup cut his paw (unbeknownst to me) and it finally became evident to me that something happened. They were so willing to get in him for a drop off/work in visit and that didn't even take a lot of time. They resolved the situation and after the covered vet visit, I only owed about $70 for some prescriptions and specialized care needed for the injury. My pup was in good spirits and he always loves seeing them, so long as they stuff his face with treats ;-) I am bringing my 12-yo kitty to them now after such a great experience with my pup and will be doing the same wellness sign up. The staff to the docs to the office are warm and inviting and supportive. I mean, the fact that they place candles on the front desk to alert other pet parents that another pet parent is saying farewell to their beloved furchild. That alone tells me how supportive they can be in the inevitable time we all face, saying good bye. If you are looking for a new vet or just moved to Chicago, I strongly recommend visiting these people. You will NOT regret it!

GoodVets has great customer service and the veterinarian and techs are very attentive. I was very happy to see that the vet and techs spent the adequate amount of time with my pet and I.
