I believe my dog was crated for the entire day he was there. He started to become aggressive with me and would have bad behavior especially when I would pick him up. He would act the way he acts when I would crate him. He had so much energy when I would pick him up at the end of the day, dogs are typically tired when yku pick them up from daycare. He’s a puppy with a lot of energy I get that but if he was too much to handle I wish they would have told me and I wouldn’t have brought him there anymore. I only give any type of stars because a few people that work there are nice. Some aren’t so nice but they were accommodating when I was moving and needed to take my dog somewhere. It’s been a week since he’s been out of this daycare and his behavior at home has significantly improved. I thought my dog was aggressive, he was not aggressive he was just locked up all day.

I've been looking for a daycare with pick up and drop off and I found Dog's life on Damen. I went in and told them that I needed pick up and drop off + daycare for my dog and I specified the dates (holidays) and they said that they could take him without an issue and that 1 day was enough notice to book, so they charged me $700 for 20 days of daycare and transportation. I called them 5 days later and owner said that they the person who charged me the $700 must have gotten confused and probably didn't check, but they cannot take my dog and that they were full for the days I requested... But how does someone doesn't check for availability and charges you $700?? The owner didn't even apologize for the mistake, not even when I went in to get my refund.

You get what you pay for. The staff takes good care of the dogs when they’re there - but it sounds as if they leave around 7 pm, and don’t get back until around 6:30 am. Our dog can’t go that long without going out.

My dog loves it here and I love taking taking her! These guys love dogs and are reasonably priced. We moved from close by to 20-30 mins away and we still take our dog here.

We have been taking our dog here for over a year, since he was a puppy. He is always ecstatically happy and ready to go anytime we take him. Weather we are boarding him for a week while traveling, or just bringing him during the week for daycare. Our dog and we have always loved Dogs Life on Damen.

Super friendly staff that really cares about their clients and their pets!

I started taking my pup to DLOD about three weeks ago, and it's been terrific! She always comes home super tired, a sign of a day full of fun and play! They post pictures every week so you can see your dog in action having fun. They also are great communicators and very accommodating when it comes to special requests and feeding instructions. You can definitely tell that they love dogs and take their jobs seriously!

Kept my 60lb hound dog here for two weeks when I had to make an emergency move. I got updates on how he was doing, advanced notice when he was low on food, and I had total trust in them that he’d be well taken care of. And he was! He came back to me calm and happy and in great condition! Dog’s Life on Damen has been great to work with and I will continue to take my dog there!

We left Pilot at Dogs Life on Damen for two weeks while we were in Europe and were thrilled with the service he received! When we picked him up he had maintained his weight, had been bathed regularly and was in good spirits. They had washed his blanket as well which was a fantastic touch of customer service. We purchased the 20 night package and highly recommend to others looking for a safe environment with watchful staff who love and take their jobs seriously!

I love this place so much. Amazing facility, super nice staff, and very reasonable prices. My black lab puppy is so happy here, and it’s such a good feeling to see him having fun. They even do grooming at a great price, which is a huge plus. I am so glad my dog is getting supervised daycare with other dogs. Keep up the good work guys!

We have a lot of confidence in Dog's Life On Damen. First, one of the dogs we adopted was fostered here for a long time before we got her. And now we frequently use their boarding service for 2 big dogs and we drive 25 minutes to do it. It is clear they care about animals and I pick up my dogs knowing they have been cared for by dog people. Reasonable, organized, friendly, and even know how to deal with one of my dogs who is sweet but has some immature pushiness. I am so glad to know we have this place when we need it.

Loving individuals to care for your pet

I love, and more importantly my dog loves Dog's Life on Damen. She comes home so happy and them immediately falls asleep. When our walks head nearby, she whines when we head back home, not sure there's a better endorsement than that!

Caring and compassionate. I have been taking my Klee Kai here for 12 years (several at the old space) and would not think of taking him elsewhere. Rates are reasonable. They do a good job washing and grooming as well. Long time owners and employees are informative and fun to talk to.

Is there anyway I can give this place 10 out of 5 stars? This place is a perfect home away from home for your pets. We've been taking Remi there since he was a puppy. It seems like he's quite a social guy, as the staff knows who he is and always has a good story to share about his day. The team of Dogs Life on Damen is made up of a staff of friendly and caring people. As a bonus, they also take pictures of all the dogs that come through and share them in a weekly Facebook upload. From the photos alone, you'll be able to tell how happy these puppies are to be at Dogs Life.
