HORRIBLE staff and was rude on many occasions, proceeds to say that they did not know how to take care of our animals after we had booked, completed all requirements, and had the staff say that they could take care of them. An unreliable and disrespectful place to take care of pets. I wouldn’t trust any animals to be well taken care of at this place.

Great staff. They really do care about the pets they take in. The daily facebook pictures of the dogs playing is a bright part of my day.

My Samoyed loves other dogs above all else. Dog parks proved to be unsafe for him. He got attacked 3 times just for being there and he got an upper respiratory infection and Girardia. He is so high energy I was desperate for a safe place. At 8 months I called Number 1 Pet Care and they agreed to assess him because he is totally non-aggressive and never even fought back when attacked. He LOVES going and has gone every morning they are open for almost two years. He has never been attacked as they know their dogs, skillfully pair them up and supervise and play with them. He has never gotten sick. He's made friends and I'm grateful for the good care they have provided and for how they stay on top of the dogs vaccinations. Its a Godsend in all the inclement weather he loves but I cannot tolerate as well.

They really take good care of the animals. My dog starts getting excited when we turn the corner, she is so happy to be going to "doggie daycare".

Desi, Eric, and the entire staff go above and beyond for each fur baby that walks through their door. My dog loves the time he spends there, and we are relieved to know that he is in such good hands when we cannot be with him. It's an added bonus to be able to see the posted photos of all the happy dogs while we are away for an extended period of time. We cannot speak highly enough of #1 Pet Care and recommend them to anyone looking for a pet daycare!

I work at this facility and the reason the family was called about the Mastiffs, one had become aggressive toward one of our employees. We had then called Deseree and she was unable to get close enough to the dogs to get them outside to go to the bathroom. Our intention was not to ruin anyone's vacation but to protect the employees and the other boarders.

They take good care of our dogs and friendly staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My brother n law and his wife put their two Mastiffs one 2 yrs old and the other than a year in their care so they could leave out of state to go on vacation and got a call 20 min later that she didn't want them after everything had already been arranged. This wasnt just an inconvenient but had to come up with someone to watch them last minute. This is unacceptable. This could had caused an issue with not being able to go on their family vacation but family stepped in. I wouldn't recommend Number 1 Pet Care to anyone!!!!

Great experience boarding my Belgian Malinois. Nice facility, professional courteous staff and communication was excellent. I will be returning to board my boy for occasions he can’t go with me.

This place is Bloomington/Normal's best kept pet secret!! We boarded our pit-bull puppy for 5 nights while we were on vacation and I was highly impressed. They were very kind, helpful, attentive, and CLEAN! All the employees I interacted with were highly passionate and sweet to all the pets they handled. Our family gives them 4 paws!!

I've taken my dog to #1 Petcare for 11 years since he was a puppy. It's his second home and highly recommend.

#1Petcare is the best dog daycare in Bloomington-normal. As an actual dog owner who has used Desi and her staff's services for 3 years I can say my golden retrievers happiness is their #1 priority. How my dog is cared for is the most important thing and they do an exceptional job.

Jax had a good time at daycare, Desiray and her team are great. Desiray is always happy to see Jax and he enjoys going.

The staff is like Rosie's second family. She always enjoys going and comes home like she has been well exercised and happy. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel like your pet is in good hands.

The girls and back really take good care of the dogs, but the owner is a lunatic

Third time boarding my St. Bernard there this past weekend. He turned traitor and didn't want to come home with me. Lol

Extremely rude just over the phone. You keep calling, why? You didn't leave a message, im very busy. What is it you want? Um needed to kno if you had room for 2 dogs. No, we are fully loaded. Its spring break like i said im very busy. Ah, ok thank you was the conversation. How they have ANY bussiness is beyond me!!
