Not sure, too vague on site. Not enough information to really make a fair, considerable and contentious rating. But I did visit site for available definitive info. Shall try again later; need a real breeder.

We have two beautiful Dobies from IDR and we appreciate their thorough job vetting us. Wonderful people and dogs.

Supposedly the only thing to do to an untrained people aggressive is to euthanize according to this rescue. No questions were asked at all before coming to this judgement. The dog is no living their best life, Trained and not people aggressive. This place is not ethical or humane.

I had a great experience adopting my Ava! I was there to visit several different dogs in hopes of adopting one. The members of the rescue were a great help in selecting the right match. A short drive home and we were family!

advised that the only thing that could be done for a people aggressive doberman was to euthanize it. The dog has been fully trained since an shown zero aggression. This place is not ethical or humane.

Please do not go here for advice on your Doberman, please seek help from an experienced training professional. A family friend of ours had asked this place for advice on what they should do for their Doberman who had been protective over its family, and this unprofessional center told them that the only thing that should be done is to euthanize. The family went on to train the dog, and guess what? The Doberman they wanted to put down has been friendlier then ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I adopted a Doberman from them 7.5 months ago, it was during the pandemic and I had no idea how it was even going to work but they made it easy and I was able to bring my best friend home withing a couple weeks of applying.

Because of the pandemic the choice of dobs are pretty slim. Hopefully that is a good thing. I will just keep checking back, I need another doberman.

This rescue is the best! I have adopted 3 Dobes over the years with them. Each experience has been fantastic. They do amazing work for many animals.

It was a hard decision to make and difficult to follow through. Although, it was the right decision. They didn't make me feel like a terrible person. Very kind people.

I had a Doberman I could no longer keep due to me having to take care of my mother because of her illness(cancer) so I contacted this place to see if they could find my Doberman a good home. I asked if I would get updates on my Doberman and Andy( I'm not sure if that was his name I can't remember) said I would. I only got one update & never heard again from my Duke again. I'm highly upset with this place that assured me I'd get updates. It was hard enough having to give up my dog. I haven't heard back since 2016 his new owner calls him Luke now

Love IDR, Andy made both adoptions seemless. We lost our first dog suddenly to cancer and we were not sure, we were ready for a new furbaby but fell in love with a stray on their site. After a few emails we drove out to meet him, he was so perfect and has become my husbands little shadow, a sweet sensitive gentle boy. Six months later we lost our other elder dog and we vowed to just have 2 dogs cause it was so much easier than 3, but one day about 6 months later, Andy emailed me a photo of a little girl shihtzu that he thought would be a great addition to our twosome, well I greed to meet her and needless to say Andy was right and I got to meet her awesome foster parents, who I still keep in touch with and send photos. 4 paws up for IDR, they made our family whole again.

I’ve had such a positive experience with IDR+. They are very thorough with their application process, which I understand because they want to ensure that these animals go to good homes. All of the volunteers are extremely helpful and you can tell how passionate they are about rescuing dogs and making sure their next home is their forever home. We have not yet adopted, but my wife and I have been working with their “matchmaker,” Beth, and she has been more than helpful with finding us the right Doberman for our family. I can’t recommend this organization enough. Be patient, as they are all volunteers truly working to find the best homes for these orphans. The application process may seem long, but it’s in the best interest for both you and the dogs. We love IDR+!!

As a veterinarian, I have worked with many rescues and IDR+ is, by far, one of the best. They take excellent and appropriate care of their dogs, and work hard trying to save the dogs’ lives. They are a non-profit that really use their money wisely and for the animals. It is one of the best rescues I have ever worked with.

I have adopted two amazing Dobermans over the years from IDR. Both earned their Canine Good Citizen titles, and one of them became a certified therapy dog. Great people doing great work for pets!

This group is amazing. We adopted the most incredible chihuahua from them. They were very fast and professional, but thorough. This organization not only cares about Dobermans, but all dogs. We can't say enough positive things about them.

We adopted Faye recently, and she is the most wonderful dog, she is bonding well with our Boston Terrier. She is funny, smart, super cuddly and just a sweetie. She loves playing in her fenced in yard, and being on Chipmunk alert at all times. Thank You I.D.R

Pam Abare listened to the qualities I was looking for and fulfilled everyone of them except one. I was really interested in finding a girl . But she found a very docile , obedient , loving sweet male that I had for four years. He passed away last week undergoing surgery for cancer but he was 13 or 14 yrs old so now I am once again looking to give a wonderful Dobe a forever home
