my 7 year old corgi had extensive issues with rear canine. The care was wonderful ! Only negative is that they are so busy, there is quite a wait for appointments and surgery.

Everyone that I interacted with in this practice was caring, professional and extremely helpful. The practice was recommended to me by my veterinarian, and it was well worth driving from the city to Aurora to get this expert care.

Companions: Dan and Monika A Patient: Brady (aka Monkey) Age: 15 Review / Rating: 5 Stars, A+++++, Four Enthusiastic thumbs and four paws UP!!!! Since 12/16/21 our lives had been turned upside down. Our 15 year old rescue was in a bad way... horrible smelling blood and pus began coming from her mouth constantly and she was miserable. We thought it was a dental issue, and set an appointment for 1/20/22 with a different veterinary clinic, but on 1/3/22 I realized there was no way we were going to make it to the twentieth, it felt like we were nearing her end. I decided to try something else, and happened to find and call the Veterinary Dental Center. By some miracle, there was a cancellation and we were able to get an appointment two days later. We got the most terrifying news upon seeing Dr. Sasser - our girl had a golf ball sized tumor growing near the back of her tongue. She'd always been hesitant to let anyone near her mouth, and as it turns out, even more so once this problem began, because many recent trips to the regular veterinarian had failed to identify the tumor. It's now about 72 hours after her surgery, but it looks like Brady has gone back about 5 years in time. Her fur is soft again, her skin is clearing, her body looks like she's filling out a bit, she's sturdier. She's not flinching when we pet her, she seeks affection again, she is spending time with us in the house instead of hiding out in her sleep space. She's trotting down the hallway to go outside, although she's not quite ready for walks yet. Her eyes are alive, her face is happy. She's still 15, but she's becoming "herself" again. We still await the biopsy, but even if we end up getting the worst of news, this procedure gave our family member comfort and quality time and extended her life, and helped us to get to a place where we could do things on our terms. We could not be more grateful or happy. Dr. Sasser told us exactly what was happening and was so patient with us throughout the process as we hysterically tried to describe what had happened with her over time. Dr. Juriga gave us a very detailed explanation of the surgery she needed, and then once the surgery began, made a fantastic judgment call once he realized he could remove the mass entirely. We went from getting the scariest news imaginable to bringing our girl home that night visually tumor-free and on the road to being closer to her old self again. Every hour that goes by she gets stronger and is coming back into herself. It's amazing to watch it happen. We can't thank you enough for what you've done for her. We're not out of the woods yet but our lives were instantly and dramatically improved because of your outstanding talents and the care our little old lady received from Veterinary Dental Center, and we will never forget it. Mr. Pickle was in terrible pain, not eating or playing as much as he used to. He also was having some cardiac issues that the vet took into consideration. Thank YOU so much for taking the time and effort - Mr. Pickle is a new cat. He is playing, grooming himself, and loving his best life. My only complaint is he yells at me now for more food.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I felt like they really cared about the well being of my cat. They made sure to go over everything that was needed and everything that could possibly be needed, which gave me a very good idea of how long it would take and how much it would cost. They were exceptionally flexible with their schedule, and got me in as soon as possible even though they were very busy and it was 2 weeks from the holidays. I would absolutely recommend the Veterinary Dental Center in Aurora!

Excellent experience. Dr Juriga explained the procedure in great detail in a friendly and unhurried fashion, and all of my questions were answered. Very courteous and professional staff. I always felt that the well being of our dog was their first priority. Would highly recommend

Dr. Juries, Melissa and the entire family of Veterinary Dental Care took time to explain the procedure to me, called and texted me with updates on my fur baby. They took great care of my fur baby Gizmo. First his broken jaw. Finally Gizmo had several broken teeth and they extracted them. Gizmo has gained his weight back and have his old bounce back. I would recommend Veterinary Dental Center to everyone with fur babies.

Dr. Juriga and his staff were wonderful about explaining what to expect, discuss risk, and just the overall care they gave my girl. I would highly recommend him for anyone needed to see a dental specialist.

I don't even know where to begin. The ENTIRE team at VDC is amazing. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was extremely friendly, offering to get me anything I needed. The vet tech who took me into my appointment and assisted throughout was so kind and reassuring, she answered all my questions as best as she could and any that she wasn't able to she made sure to mention to the doctors so I would get a complete answer. The doctors are also absolutely fantastic. They are so patient and caring about both me and my cat. I took my cat in for a dental consultation and they happened to have a last minute surgery cancellation that afternoon that they immediately offered to me due to the severity of my cats problems. I was anxious to let her go without being prepared but the vets were the best I could ask for. I got a complete explanation of her surgery afterwards including all pictures, X-rays, and scans. Dr. Juriga answered every single question without making me feel rushed or stupid for asking them. I truly cannot thank this entire team enough! Not only was the service above and beyond what I could ask for, the pricing was so much better than what I was quoted in the city for the same procedure. So a HUGE thank you thank you thank you to Dr. Juriga and everyone else at VDC!!!! You guys are the absolute best!!

16 yo Chewy had bad dental disease and had some teeth pulled out a couple years ago at his regular vet. However, his teeth continued to deteriorate so we took him to the Dental center where they were very thorough and found out that he had massive bone loss that his regular vet had missed. Chewy was miserable, couldn't eat well and choking a lot so the vet decided chewy needed ALL of his teeth pulled and a course of antibiotics. Chewy recovered nicely and he's almost like a new dog, following me around and begging for food once more. ❤️ I highly recommend.

Dr. Juriga and his team set the standard when it comes to veterinary care. I knew as soon as I walked in, that my girl, Ginny Mae, was in good hands. Everything from pre-op to post-op was fantastic. This practice is the definition of compassionate care. ❤️

We have three dogs. Tooth troubles and cleanings are resolved by dr. Juriga and his team. We drive to his hospital 1 hour that our dogs have the best dental care possible. All three dogs had their teeth removed, repaired and cleaned. The care of patients is outstanding there. We are really grateful that you are taking care of our babies.

I could not have been more pleased with my kitty cat Norman’s dental surgery. Dr. Juriga and his staff are ***“the best”***. My Norman is 17 years old. And I was so worried. The Doctor and Staff assured me he would be ok. And they were right!!! Thank you so much, Dr. Juriga!!!!

Dr. Kling was excellent with the care of my pet. She explained the procedure in easy to understand terms. Answered all my questions before and after surgery.

I was a bit nervous bringing my 4mo pup in for a tooth extraction, but Dr. Juries and his staff completely put me at ease. They were so nice and walked me through the whole procedure. Provided pictures and data. They were so loving to my pup. They coordinated all info with our regular vet and made the whole process seamless. I would highly recommend them!

I truly regret not consulting Dr. Juriga a few years ago when I considered taking Inka to him for cleaning but was too afraid to have her go under anesthesia due to heart disease. He spent ample amount of time explaining the anesthesia protocol for geriatric patients with heart illness and addressed her other newly arose health concern. He answered all my (many) questions without rushing and was very honest about her dental needs. Impeccable bedside manner. He put me completely at ease and I am not easy to deal with when it comes to Inka's health. The clinic itself is a very welcoming place that does not look or feel like a hospital. Inka who was extremely stressed out from a long drive enjoyed looking out the window at a wooded garden with bird and squirrel feeders. It calmed her down. This is one of the best patient-doctor experiences Inka or I have ever had. Thank you, Dr. Juriga.

Dr Juriga is the absolute best! He consults at every step to be sure you understand your options, risks and cost involved with treatment. He is caring and obviously top in his field. Unfortunately, our rescue doggie is a breed known for bad teeth and coupled with the neglect he experienced before we got him, he has needed several extractions. I felt 100% confident that there was no one better to advise me than Dr. Juriga.

I was so impressed with the staff and facility. They went above and beyond to help out my senior beagle. Everything was explained in detail and we knew exactly what to expect in terms of the procedure and payment. I definitely recommend Veterinary Dental Center and my pup gives them four paws up!

The staff was so extremely nice. Very professional and caring. I brought my 11 year old cat in for tooth extractions and everything was explained in detail before the surgery and then again after the surgery as to what had taken place. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend the Veterinary Dental Center to anyone who needs veterinary services.

All staff members are so kind and really care about you and your pet I would highly recommend them. From the moment we walked in with our pet, to our consultation, we never felt rushed. Our baby had some teeth surgery and they took great care of her as if she was there own. Followed up the next day as well.
