My wife and I have been bringing our animals here since December of 2016 and absolutely love everyone from Front of house staff to back of house staff. Couldn't ask for a better veterinary establishment.

I brought my dog there over a month ago for a general checkup, some vaccinations, etc. Dr. Prattis is the most unprofessional, careless, ignorant doctor I have ever met. She took an x-ray, came in the room, telling me what was wrong with my dog and was proceeding to leave until I stopped her and asked what it all meant. She didn’t care about my feelings or questions. She gave me some meds and didn’t explain which med was which and how much for each.One of their techs was super lazy, acting like everything I was asking her to do was such a chore. I walked out of there spending over $600. I called the next morning and spoke with Hayden. She assured me that their supervisor would call me back and never did. I called back and same. I will never bring my dogs here again or refer anyone here. Maybe Dr. Prattis should get a refund on her education. What a shame!

My dog has a really bad reaction. I’ve called lost money and still no help . I called asking for help . The women on the phone would say no doctor available. It’s not good customer service. They get your money and really don’t help after . I received other care.

The vet is excellent!!! He is very caring and knowledgeable. They were able to get me in right away. Other vets make customers wait a month to get an appointment. The vet tech was also excellent. She comforted my cat. I would definitely recommend Arlington Golf Animal Hospital.

$345 for an overpriced exam and cytology only for the results to come back inconclusive. Waste of time and money.

Staff and service are great!

Mostly decided to visit this clinic because it's across the street from me but I'm so glad I did! The place is quiet which is unusual for a vet office but it was nice. The actual vet was great, she really took her time and addressed all my concerns, even the small ones. I was given a breakdown of services before deciding to proceed, which I appreciated. They also called me the next day to check in. Overall, great! Will definitely be returning in the future if needed.

Last year our 14 year old dog suffered a stroke and then a seizure. We brought her here and spent over $4,000 in vet bills. Today we brought her back to check up on her coughing and gagging. We did the curbside drop off and waited about an hour for her in the car with the car running. The vet called us to update us and suggested x-rays and blood work which would take another 30 minutes or so. We decided to take our other dog home and drop my wife off and return as we live just over a mile away. When we went to leave we had car issues and it just died. We called our friend who picked me up to get my battery jump box. We were able to start it but had to keep the box connected to the battery and the hood ajar. As we started tp leave, someone ran out of the office knocked on the car window and told us we had to pay as the bill was over $800. (The vet told us initially it was under $800)My wife told her that she spoke to the vet and we would call in a couple of minutes once we got the car to our friend's house. She continued to rudely demand payment despite seeing our situation. We headed home and as we were waking in the door the vet's office called for payment. They never gave us a bill or estimate just demanded payment. My wife told them without a bill we were not paying and all they had to do was e-mail it over. Once they sent it, we reviewed it and called them to pay full amount. After giving them my credit card number I told her how disappointed that I was in the way they treated us, as if we were criminals trying to run out and not pay. Now we were recent clients and they had both our phone numbers and our address. The women I spoke with then proceeded to compare us leaving with someone running out on their restaurant bill. She must of realized how stupid that sounded and then without me saying a word hung up on me. I asked for the vet to call me which she did. When I explained everything to her, she just defended her people and the policy to pay in full before leaving. This was the same vet who my wife confirmed with that we will call in once we got home. When i questioned her about being treated as if we were criminals and her person hanging up on me she could only defend her business and told me she was told I hung up on her.

I am truly appalled at the recent experience my family had with the Arlington Golf Animal Hospital. We have been going there for our four dogs for ten years. Today we had an appointment for our dog, however due to the coronavirus they have a different procedure now, which is understandable. When my family member arrived to drop off the dog they did not have a cell phone with them. Apparently you are supposed to call them when you arrive but obviously that couldn’t be done. So they went to knock on the door and the staff at the front desk saw her and would not get up to open the door and take the dog, or even explain that they couldn’t. Because they wouldn’t let the dog in, they left. Upon returning home they called to tell them what had happened and that now they wouldn’t be at the appointment. The person on the phone was Matt who is the manager and he hung up on my family member. They then called back and he hung up again. This happened once more. The incident was ridiculous in the first place for the staff to not even get up to try and communicate with the client. And then on top of it for the manager to be treating a loyal customer like that? Absolutely unacceptable. Shame on him. Our business will not be going to this animal hospital ever again.

I called them to get pricing to have 2 kittens spayed/neutered. They were nice, but their prices were easily 2x of other vets I called in the area. While the person I spoke with was polite, it was awkward listening to them rattle off the costs of all these tests. I almost felt they wanted me to go elsewhere, which I did!

I have been taking my rescue here since she was 11 weeks old and I appreciate the staff so much. Our doctor is Dr. Melissa Smizinski is remarkable and she is patient with my dog - my dog feel comfortable with her. Not to mention, my dog had some emergency situations and I called the vet and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Plus, I feel like I sound like a pest calling regularly for my dog, but they are so helpful and make me feel so reassured when my dog is ill. Highly recommend.

GREEDY MONEY GOUGER. Needed a refill of ear drop medication for my dog. Has had recurrent ear infections he is prone to develop and responds well to the medication. Ran out of the medication and called in for refill. Would NOT refill unless dog was brought in for an exam and ear swab analysis to 'determine' what medication was required. RESULT?...$110 in EXTRA charges for exam/swab before refilling SAME medication. NEVER AGAIN.

I absolutely love Arlington Golf Animal Hospital. I've been taking my babies here for years and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Fox she's so caring and takes time to listen and explains everything to you!

We've been taking Hugsie at this vet since we got her (3weeks-old), now she's 4. They're very professional and accommodating especially Daniel and Karina, Dr.Fox and also the desk clerk Victoria. what great about their services is their credibility and genuineness, amazing and wonderful staff you could have in Arlington heights, IL. Love that they smile all the time as soon as you step into their door. I've always receive follow up from them and note when Hugsie is getting closer to her due exams or some test. Their services is stupendous and outstanding! Today we took Hugsie for another test and here's Karina very welcoming , kind, professional and accommodating.She's one of my favorite that's why we keep this vet as Hugsie personal vet, and we will not change either way. She make sure Hugsie is taking good care of, and also for me shes the best in trimming nails, no one does it best than her, we've tried different pet salon when we don't encounter Karina's on duty but the others dont do better job, so I'm reallly glad she's in today!!. Really love her. Thanks for Arlington Golf animal Hospital Staff for taking good care of my dog, thanks Dr. Fox, thank you Karina. Money hungry vet office.wanting $130 for a puppies first shot... when other places are charging $30 ...

My dog Ziggy goes to Dr. Fox. She is wonderful I would follow her to any practice she goes too. The Ladies at the front desk are great, personable and you feel like they enjoy their jobs. The vet techs are knowledgeable and make me feel that Ziggy is getting the best care out there. i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a honest, dependable, knowledgeable vet.

Clean place, very welcoming and nice staff. Dr. Humphrey Roberts is incredible and truly cares about the pets themselves. Will keep returning

Arlington Golf Animal Hospital is the best!! Dr. Fox and crew are always so helpful and friendly, and my little one feels safe there - he is always excited to see the staff!! The clinic is always clean and I like they way they spread out the patients so not too many animals congregate at the same time. By far the best vet around!! :)

Great small vet place. Everyone is incredibly friendly. This is my go to animal hospital for check-up's and picking up prescriptions. Whenever I call to ask for a prescription to be filled they always have it done in 5-10 minutes.

We started bringing our animals here after adopting a cat from Kays. I can honestly say the staff and doctors are amazing here! Hence why now we make the trip to Arlington Heights from Grayslake. I wouldn't want to take our fur babies anywhere else! Thank you.

Loved the staff but animal medical clinic of itasca is definitely more detailed in their assessments.

This is the best veterinary clinic in the area, they have decent prices compared to most in the area, they have pets up for adoption, I don't know the details about adopting a pet from them. I have been taking my dog there since he was a puppy and he likes the staff as well as I do. They will price match common products used for your pet. It's a cozy waiting room I haven't had to wait long most times, they have hot beverages if you have to wait. Their hours are great too.

My cat Thor was seen by Dr. fox, and she was great! Super attentive, and lovable towards thor. She came up with many solutions, and tips. The staff was friendly, and caring. Quick to book an appointment, and also quick to be seen.
