I would give zero stars if possible as I continue to have terrible experiences with the Petco in Algonquin. I had same day delivery and they delivered the wrong product to my house....nice job door dash. I kindly returned the item to the store to get my item and Josie "the mgr" who isn't really a manager, told to me to talk to door dash. The manager who couldn't come out from wherever she was gave Josie inaccurate information and after ignoring me to help other customers came back to tell me reach out to door dash. The least helpful retail associate I have ever met. what they told me was completely not correct as I paid Petco. Nevertheless, I reach out to door dash and they indeed tell me to reach out to Petco. After then calling their service desk (waiting 20 mins) I am told they can send me a replacement in 2-5 days.

very attentive and kind, I recently got a new pet and the carer was very kind and willing to help, giving me extra information on the guinea pigs personality. the store was organized and the animals seemed well taken care of and clean

Going to this Petco was terrible to experience. In the picture there is a water dragon and he/she looks like it’s on their last breath. The humidity was at 20 and it’s supposed to be 60-80. There was another one in the same tank and he/she was gone. I cried because I care, we told a worker and he said someone comes in the morning to spray them down and they spray the tank all day too. If that was the case why was it so dry to the point us customers had to tell you? We had to tell the guy to poke the little guy/girl and he was acting like it was normal that the poor water dragon wasn’t moving or anything.

Went to get fish..They were either tuned off..tanks have nit been cleaned and lots of dead fish..never seen this store like this..very disappointed.
