We took our duck Huckleberry in yesterday 12/22 and we're In room 4. We had the absolute best vet and an outstanding vet tech during our visit. They were sympathetic for our loss and treated us just the same as if we were losing our dog. They were honest, caring, and helped save us some expenses along the way. If your looking for a vet that cares about the animals you bring in, along with supporting you during a difficult decision, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you so much for your help.

We have been with another vet for almost 3 years now for our ferrets, and I never left happy. I am so happy that we found Idaho Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Hacker and the entire staff truly care for furry friends. They worked very hard to make my ferret and me comfortable. Our sweet ferret has hated going to the vet since we got her. She freaks out and is not friendly at all when we go and she is such a sweet loving creature at home. We noticed a change in ber behavior lately and got worried. Out old vet acted like it was an inconvenience to work her in and wanted to charge us an arm and a leg to do so. I called Idaho Veterinary Hospital and they were so kind and got us right in. Within the first few minutes I felt comfortable and our ferret wasn't quite as frantic. Today was our second visit and although she was still wiggly, our ferret actually layed down and chilled in the office. That is the first time she has ever done that. Every person that we delt with was so friendly to me and especially to our ferret. They took the time to love on her and make her feel more comfortable. Dr. Hacker really listened to me and came across something that she had not originally thought because our ferret isn't showing the normal symptoms. I am impressed with the fact that Dr. Hacker is moving slowly to ensure she is doing the right thing and not rushing into every procedure under the sun to nickle and dime us for a ton of money. I am just so thankful to have found such a loving environment for my ferrets! I would recommend anyone to go to Idaho Veterinary Hospital!

So far we have been twice and loved the experience. They even have an Urgent Care option for your pet. We moved from Utah, and I am so glad we found this vet.

Absolutely love this place! Everyone is super friendly and transparent. They never seem annoyed with questions which is a big deal for me because I like knowing what is going on with my dog.

Love this place when my dragon died they gave me nothing but love and understanding and helped me in a way I will forever be grateful for. From the urn ⚱️ I got help with, to her feet and tail imprinted on a keep sake and tree planted in her name.

These guys are over booked and busy. But we'll worth it! Well knowledge, so helpful. I feared my pet rat was badly injured. Waiting for 2 hr cause they had many emergency surgeries that made em abit backed up but they constantly had some one coming in to check up on my rat and I.. I felt at ease despite the chaos they were given over the weekend not to expensive for costs. These guys will sure help no matter the animal. Thank you guys. My rat Lilly is back to her spunky self again ^_^

They were amazing with my bunny who was sick! They saw him quickly, were so great with him even though he was scared, and didn't try to push a bunch of exorbitant tests and treatments! I will for sure be taking my pets here in the future!

Everyone working there is so nice and they always take such good care of my dogs. I highly recommend them.

The staff at Idaho Veterinary Hospital were so patient and soooooo understanding when it was time our Reece to go. From the phone call we had to make to set it up, to the procedure, everyone was so understanding and professional.

Very happy with my experience here. Doctor and staff. I just purchased an animal recently and unfortunately he had to be put down. DR. JESSICA SCHULT was very accommodating and empathetic toward my needs. She did not overcharge when it came time to euthanize him. I will go here from now on.

I had to recently come in for about 15 different appointments following a long procedure, today we finished out our last check up. They were honestly the best.

Superb, professional, high-tech veterinary practice with reasonable prices. I've been to many vets with many pets over the last 50 years, but none better than this one. I've tried the fancier vet hospitals and have spent over $25,000 on veterinary care in my lifetime, and for me this place is the perfect balance of high-tech veterinary medicine with caring professionals who give the feel of a small-town practice with fair prices. These folks really care about you and your pet.

Had to bring in a new set of rats I rescued. Dr. Calhoun was very knowledgeable and lovely to talk to. Will continue to bring all my animals here!

We have been taking our animals here for the past few years. They are willing to answer all my questions on the phone and during appointments. They are family friendly. Excellent at giving vaccines in a way that doesn't distress the animals at all. We used their on call number for an emergency once and got our cat in for a visit and procedure very quickly. I won't be taking out pets anywhere else.

Best vet in Idaho imho.

First time I am in a veterinary care clinic where the staff seems to genuinely care for all animals, not just dogs and cats. Wonderful treatment, care, and attention!

Sadly, I had to have my dog put down because of a malignant tumor... But the people here at Idaho Veterinary Hospital showed the utmost compassion, and eased the process as best as they could. I would highly recommend this veterinary office for anyone seeking medical attention for their animals.
