Dr. Wethered is the absolute best in the valley, I'm so thankful for him. All the staff at Ewing are super friendly and welcoming, definitely the best experience I've had at any vet clinic in Boise.

I am so pleased with everything about this office and it's staff and services. I've been to several different places over the last few days trying to get my cat treated and taken care of with a broken femur. They have been amazing. Would recommend. Will be returning for all my pet needs.

Dr. Wethered and his staff are busy but they are thorough and care for the well being and health of their patients. I highly recommend Ewing Animal Hospital!

My little boy got real sick and eventually couldn't fight it and went to doggy heaven. They went above and beyond to figure out why he was sick, and even though we didn't win, my little boy had a great team around him. And they have a front desk secretary named Kayla, that really went above and beyond for me, with customer relations, and I couldn't be more thankful she was apart of his team. Its not everyday the workers love the animals you love.

Very comfortable initial meeting. Spaying of my 3 year old lab went well. No problems. She can put of it as Doctor describes. And she is back to her happy energetic self.

I love Ewing. After a few bad vet visits at other vets, we met with Dr. Wethered. He was so upfront and straight forward with all information, made us feel very comfortable. We won't be going anywhere else for care. Both of our dogs love all the staff and are never too nervous about going

Dr. Wethered took a huge sarcoma off my 12yr border-collie/lab and I cried when I brought him home because I'm so happy I have a few more years with my baby. I appreciate Dr. Wethered answering all my questions and doing all he could to get the cancer taken care off. I appreciate how kind the staff were and how sweetly they did everything they could to make my Neuro as comfortable as possible. Most of all I'm so appreciative to have my buddy home safe and sound <3

I’m not a customer yet but I did take a tour of the boarding service during the winter because we had just moved to the area and looking for a new doggie day care. I will say my first impressions were really good. I don’t usually write reviews but maybe I was just so relieved to find a place we felt good about that I want to review even though its been a while. First the gal at the front desk was really nice and welcoming we were greeted right away. The supervisor of the boarding service who showed us around seemed like a real sweet gal also. very helpful in addressing our concerns especially about our senior dog. I wish I could remember her name so she could get some recognition but I think she said shes the only supervisor for the boarding service. Fun colored hair and kind of an interesting name if I remember right if that helps her boss identify her for a pat on the back for selling me. (That’s not easy)anyway she was more than helpful in answering my many questions even anticipating some of my concerns and addressing them before I even asked. I also liked that she asked me questions about our 2 “fur-babys” to get to know them. that was really nice. it made the tour feel like it was personal to my dogs and not just like every tour is the same. She was saying how they were happy to work with each dogs needs which I could tell they did because it wasn’t just all the same setup for every dogs kennel. At the end she showed me this adorable “pet interview” for my dogs I could fill out if I wanted so everyone on her team could know them better and take care of them better. I will definitely be filling those out for my girls when they go since they will be new. I liked the kennels they have and the different sizes for different dogs, the gal told me lots of little dogs feel safer in small spaces at night which I didnt even know that myself but it makes sense. It’s little things like that that showed they care and know their stuff. The kennels looked really clean too though I could tell its an older building but thats fine with us. Best part... Multiple yards that have actual GRASS too. Something so simple that is surprisingly hard to find. This place is a little farther from us then some of the other places we’ve toured but i think for our next vacation a few extra miles driving will be worth the piece of mind. (We have had bad experiences with other dog hotels) The gal showing me around seemed to have a genuine passion and love for her job and for the dogs that go there. I could tell the dogs that were there were well taken care of and I remember thinking the dogs all seemed like they actuall had a personal relationship with the boarding staff. Every pet parent wants the person watching their pets to love their dog just like they do and I could tell this gal and her team do that.I just got my second shot of the vaccine so I remembered to review because I’m finally booking my vacation this year!!! Will try to remember to update this review when we actually get to pick up our girls there after a stay or if we have to use their vet services before then. I asked about pricing for boarding our girls but their supervisor could only offer a price range/estimate based on their breeds average weight because I wasnt sure exactly how much they weighed but the prices seem pretty fair for what you get out of it regardless of which category they will fall into. We will miss our dogs while were gone but we will sleep well at night knowing they are happy and safe.

$151 for a 10 minute examination ...hurt my dogs leg because they wanted him on the table...a 115 lbs lab!! Been taking my dogs there for years...time for a new vet.

I have been taking my dogs to Ewing Animal Hospital for over 15 years. They are dependable, take great veterinarian care of my animals, and most of all, they are so compassionate. My last two dogs lived to 15 and 17, and when the time came Ewing Animal Hospital helped my dogs pass over with kindness, and the least amount of suffering. Update- its been over 20 years now, still LOVE them!

My elderly ferret was exhibiting signs of a common ferret disease and I know that ferrer vets are hard to find in the valley. Ewing Animal Hospital booked an appointment to see my ferret right away. They took great care with my ferret and they really listened to my concerns about my ferret's elderly care. I was seen quickly. The overall price of the visit was fantastic and all of the staff were accommodating and kind. I will likely be moving all of my pet's care to this clinic.
