A wonderful place for our cats to go on vacation while we go on our vacation.

Our cat is like our baby so we wanted to make sure we found a cat hotel that made us feel like she would be taken care of. Kitty island is the BEST place for a cat to go while you’re out of town. They’re treated her just like she would be treated at home with you. They love on her, keep them on their feeding schedule, play with them etc. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving our Pumpkin. She’s in the best hands at kitty island! If you’re looking for a cat hotel stop what you’re doing and call the great people here!

I can't say enough great things about Sandy and Kitty Island. I had my two cats stay for what ended up being about three weeks. The facility is warm, welcoming, extremely clean, calm, and has plenty of entertainment for the cats. It is abundantly clear that Sandy genuinely cares about the comfort and well-being of her guests. She is also very knowledgeable about cat behavior, and I felt wholly assured leaving my old man kitty in her care. Lastly, Sandy is excellent at communicating with you and sends updates regularly. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else!

No complaints. Sandy was very flexible and met my every need for my two cats (they stayed for two weeks)! I honestly think they loved it there, since it was a new place to explore and they got consistent attention (and their regular meals)! I would certainly take them there again. No other place in Hampton Roads that caters to cats only and ensures they feel relaxed/cared for. Rates are cheaper than most pet resorts too.

I take my cats here every time I'm out of town. I have such peace of mind knowing that they're in a safe, cozy place and are always well taken care of! They're kept on their normal feeding schedules and they're never stressed when I pick them up. The facility is clean and comfortable for the cats, and the rates are very reasonable. Will, of course, be bringing them back.

I could not more highly recommend Kitty Island. The care and concern given to their guests (both the feline and human variety) is evident throughout. The peace of mind that pets are treated with such personal love is well worth the cost - and - the safety and cleanliness is utmost.

Kitty Island is amazing! I wouldn't leave my cat with anyone or anywhere else. I've considered family and neighbors to take care of my cat but the peace of mind in having him at Kitty Island is so worth it.

Great in a pinch. Their passion for cats is obvious upon entering the building. Go and chat with them a bit. I can't find a better place to take care of our cat.
