I took my cat here for his first visit and was thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding, the exam room was clean and modern (they even have cat specific exam rooms to reduce stress), and most importantly my cat received amazing care here. I’m happy I found a welcoming environment where my cat feels comfortable because he tends to get stressed and somewhat aggressive at vet appts. I highly recommend trying out this practice if you are looking for a new veterinary practice. Not to mention, the prices were significantly cheaper here than his previous clinic. All in all, 10/10 experience.

HWH has taken such great care of my diabetic shih tzu. He has improved so much in the last few weeks since we moved him from another vet. The entire office staff is accommodating and caring. They have taken the time to teach us how to take better care of our Sammy. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Deavers and staff were wonderful throughout the 2 years my old girl battled diabetes. Her road ended today in a wonderful, peaceful manner thanks to them.

I just love???? the full-attention Dr. Deavers gives my chihuahua????,Diamond. She sits on the floor, just like I do, when helping my dog feel comfortable & @ ease. Also her vast knowledge & experience, used to work @ another veterinary clinic, is impressive. I like the fact she doesn't have lit candles near the reception desk as 4 me, it adds 2 the operation expenses of the business & the prices???? here R quite reasonable. The cute ???? in the reception area makes me feel more @ home.

So so very disappointed! My mothers dog was attacked by another dog while she was away on vacation. Her other dog has been seen here so she told us to take her here. When we called they told us to wait by the phone and they would call us back with a time to bring. Now when we called we told them what dog needed to be seen, this is important info. They didnt call back so we called them and they said to bring her in at 2:30! So we did when we got there they refused to see her because in the vets own words "she didnt have time to see a difficult dog". She did explain that because the dog didnt know her it could stress her out but how do you look at a dog in need and tell someone you dont have time for them?! She was in pain and needed help so everything was stressing her out. Your office knew in the beginning she hasnt been seen there before. So when we orginally called right then and there would of been a great time to say you would recommend we take her somewhere else. There is a much better way to word something than to tell someone you dont have time to help their dog! So unprofessional and a hypocrite, you became a vet to help. We waited like you told us just to not help. We took her somewhere else and they helped her! She wasnt even difficult per the other vet that saw her. They have now lost my business and my moms other dog!

I was impressed by the reasonable prices & the treatment(s) my pet received. I wish I asked if Dr. Deavers has a wish list as many veterinary practices need donations of pet supplies, sanitizer & office supplies to help defray costs and when I can, I donate $ for strays brought in needing treatment. The location is great! Almost adjacent to the Harris Teeter @ Sandbridge Commons Shopping Mall in Virginia Beach! VA

Absolutely wonderful people who obviously love animals. The positive energy and happiness really makes it a welcoming place. Dr. Deavers and Annmarie were so fantastic with my cat, Socks. She was handled with such care. Definitely the best place for your special fur babies.

My review of them here disappeared. So a will check here daily to see if it disappears again. I have been taking my pets to Healing Heart Veterinary in Va. Beach for approximately two years. I left for several reasons. It is hard to schedule an appointment with them. Appointments are difficult to get because they do not have many available. So if you work, good luck. My schedule is easy to work with. I have most hours available so this should not be such an issue but it still is. Often, they do not return calls. Often, when you call, you are put on hold for long periods of time, and sometimes they do not come back. This bothers me the most because once my pet needed treatment for an infection, and they never called me back until I called them to complain, then they returned my call about the issue. I had to call them for my pets testing results on a few occasions, since I did not hear from them. You wait for far too long in the waiting room and back rooms. My pets need a vet that will be there for them when they are sick to, not just for pre scheduled appointments. They were generally nice people but that is not why I go to the vet. I go to get treatment for my pets, and they need someone dependable that can be counted on to take care of them.

I have been seeing Dr. Deavers for 5 years and absolutely recommend her. She is so wonderful with my German Shepherds! She sits on the floor with them, is not afraid and gives them all the loves. Every time! My boys have zero issues going to the vet because of her demeanor and staff. Admittedly she can sometimes run behind but that is because she gives every client the time they need. Dr. Deavers is an amazing veterinarian and wonderful with all pets.

My oldest pup is timid so it takes him a while to gain trust usually. The vet and vet tech were able to gain his trust in very little time and was able to get through his appointment in a timely manner

Healing with Heart is great! We recently switched to them and have been thrilled with the care our pup has gotten with Dr.Deavers and her team. Dr. Deavers takes the extra time to communicate and make sure your questions are answered!

It's just like their name says, they have a wonderful heart.

My cat came from a feral litter that was abandoned and he's always been super difficult with other people, especially outside of our home. This was the first time in 9 years a vet was able to work with him without him getting upset or hostile! Our cat's ear was swollen and so we had to take him in somewhere so we could figure out what was going on, and the service of this clinic blew us away! They had a diffuser in the room to help calm him and gave us a few minutes in the room with him to let him get acclimated and then was very patient and gentle with him. They were very upfront with treatment options and costs, and soon enough his ear got all better. Definitely a this clinic! They are so great with pets that can be difficult with other people!

Dr Deaver’s. Is the most compassionate caring vet I have met. Her staff is also the greatest around.

Stellar Medical care for our Beagle, Bella!

My chihuahua, Riley, and two cats, Velcro and Harper, have been to see Dr. Deavers and the wonderful team. One of my cats is currently being treated for diabetes and we are hoping for a good outcome. My big cat , Velcro, made himself at home crawling all over Dr Deavers at one appointment. Dr. Deavers always takes her time explaining medical issues and works with me to achieve the best outcome. Her vet techs are the best! Very patient and caring from all and the front desk ladies are awesome!!

Awesome Veterinarian! I love Dr. Deavers & all the staff here. I love their approach to minimize their patient's stress. Everyone I've dealt with at this practice has always been wonderful; very kind, polite & personable.

Good service, very nice office. Little on the expensive side but they seem to have treated my dog well. They forgot some meds when i picked her up from surgery and they used Staples on the stomach which I'm assuming was cheaper and easier but required another visit for removal instead of dissolving stitches...

I have never been to a Veterinary practice that has been so amazing!! I have a very difficult cat, and Dr. Deavers and her staff are amazing. My first visit was pretty traumatic for the cat, and Dr. Deavers actually sat on the floor to help calm him. Fast forward to my appointment with them today, and Chance helps himself to the treats. I will never go anywhere else!! Thank you Dr. Deavers and your wonderful, caring staff ♡

Best vet I've ever had.

The office, front desk staff is very friendly, nice and were apologetic over the unfortunate situation that occurred this afternoon. This was our THIRD appointment in trying to get blood work for Coffee dog. We are new to the practice and I had thought Dr Deaver's sedative approach was although cost more, I felt it was probably the best for our dog. We picked up Selio last week and the front desk staff had said to follow directions inside the box ~ which I did. Giving her this gel between her cheek and gums was not easy and caused us all STRESS. We show up to our scheduled appointment and Dr Deaver's seemed upset from the moment she entered the exam room. She said we were to give Coffee a double dose of the Selio PLUS a dose of Trazadone. I calmly said I will not put Coffee through the Selio procedure again. I thought Dr D would understand as she was the one who has expressed that there's no need to stress the animal, but instead of rescheduling the appointment, she was short and said that they (the business) could no more help/serve us. My son and I left very confused, frustrated, and disappointed at the way Dr Deavers handled this situation. I understand everyone has bad days, however do not feel we deserved the treatment we received and definitely won't be going back. I would not recommend this vet either unless you are just buying products or food as the front desk staff are very nice.

She is open outside my work hours and always takes great care of my pup.
