Came to this place for a second opinion. Glad I did! My 10 year old dog had a rumor on his eyelid. Removal process did not include any anesthesia. Vet and staff members were super friendly! You can tell they love animals! And super clean too!

My friend's fur baby has been seen (with me in tow) twice in the last 2 weeks for a very serious eye problem. The owner tried multiple places to get her Peanut seen, but this was the only place willing to make availability to see her. She (my friend) is extremely grateful to the Veterinarians here, and credits them with saving her baby's eye. As an observer, I liked the location, the parking, the office building is spacious, clean, and full of natural light. They also have a stand outside with disposable bags, if needed, which is a very thoughtful addition. The staff was professional, and sensitive to the needs of their customers (with and without fur), offering assistance with Peanut and her Mommy. My friend really appreciates this place, and I do too. Peanut is doing much better, thanks to them.

A big thank you to Animal Eye Care for seeing us as an emergency and taking care of my sweet baby. Extremely professional and let me know what was going on every second. Highly recommend!

Excellent staff. When I went there my car broke down in their lot and they were very understanding about me leaving the car there.

Awesome place. Friendly staff! Nice facility. Some of the meds seem pricey but I have nothing to compare them to so...overall I would recommend taking your pet there.

It's a fact. Animal specialists are pricey. My dog had an emergency eye problem. They were able to schedule next day surgery and thankfully, he's on the mend. This facility has caring competent staff and is immaculate.

We were referred to Animal Eye Care by our regular vet after my dog Ralphie had an ulcer in his left eye that was not healing after several weeks of being on an antibiotic ointment. I was initially nervous about going to see a specialist because of the possible costs but after reading the reviews I felt that my dog would be in the best hands. At our appointment they ran several diagnostic tests to determine what was wrong and came to the conclusion that he had a non healing ulcer that would require a procedure to be performed. Thankfully they were able to perform the procedure right then and there, and to my surprise the total cost was very reasonable. Ralphie was sent home with some pain medication and eye drops and within 2 weeks time his ulcer was fully healed! Our little boy is finally cone free and we couldn't be happier with our experience with everyone at Animal Eye Care!

Thought my dog had a severe eye condition, cataracts, how can I justify 2500. For a dog? It wasn't what I thought. An infection that was treatable with medication. If you don't understand, don't worry about it. You'll learn

Dr. Church & the staff of Animal Eye Care are great. They took good care of our dog. We paid a little less than they estimated prior to the procedure, so that was nice as well.

This place just completely changed our lives. I rescued a 12 year old yorkie from the Norfolk shelter 2 years ago. She was completely deaf and completely blind with cataracts. But in these two years she displayed no other health issues (except PTSD from whatever occurred in her previous life, of course). So, after having my own vision dramatically improved with cataract surgery, I wanted that for her in her twilight years. She had large hardened cataracts in both eyes. And they were removed in a basically uneventful surgery and intraocular lenses were put in place. She has had no complications. It's unclear to me what she can see. But I know that she doesn't run into anything anymore. And she is infinitely calmer. Highly recommend.

Customer service of reception staff was fantastic. The Veterinarian and supporting staff were all extremely knowledgeable and able to convey information in a way that was easy to understand. My pups eye looks amazing after the mass removal with barely a mark left behind. The doors still have the McDonald's logo on them so that was funny Easter egg.

Although you are unable to go indoors with your pet (MUST WAIT IN CAR), vet calls you on the phone and thoroughly discusses pets problem and ways to approach it. I am very pleased with vets at this practice.

Our 15 year old yorkie poo was referred here by our vet for a serious eye infection that developed very quickly. Although COVID kept me from going in with him, couldn't have asked for better care. I had so many questions and concerns, but they explained and talked me though everything. His treatment requires multiple drops every hour. This all happened on Friday, and I myself am having major surgery Monday. They are going to keep my dog that day and give him his drops until my husband can pick him back up. This to me is going above and beyond and it is so greatly appreciated knowing my pet will be safe and well cared for. Thank you Animal Eye Care❤????

They took great care of my dog and fixed a growth he had on his eye lid. Initially they were very forthcoming about the cost of the operation. I gathered the money nessacary to have the procedure done. It was a success and I can tell my dog was happy that the growth was gone. A 2 week follow up was scheduled to check the out come. They took my dog in for about 5 min max. Then brought him out saying he was fine. They then charged me $75 for the follow-up. I was not prepared for this. When I asked the employee about this her response was "well it was in the document you signed originally" Iinitially they verbally put the cost out there so I knew what I was going to pay, there was no mention of followup visit charge. I felt that if a followup was needed it would be in the initial payment. My fault for not reading the whole paperwork but the response I received made me feel like 'huh we got you' So I will take away this: 1. ultimately my dog is much better so I am thankful. 2.because of #1 I would recommend this place to anyone the has an animal eye issue. 3. I hope they can verbally let people know of a follow up to a procedure will cost $75 even if it's a 2-3 minute visit.

I was referred here by my vet because my dog was having eye problems beyond what they could handle. Expect to pay a bit, but this location helped my dog a lot and gave her the care she needed to be comfortable again.
