This place is scary! I took my dog here... felt like I was in a 3rd world country. Dr. wasn't able to tell me what was going on with my dog, the receptionist was trying to pressure me into a surgery saying "it'll cost way more on Oahu to get a tooth removed than if you were to do it with us." Beyond that, a friend of mine took her dog here and the Dr. removed lumps and bumps that did not have to be removed. DON'T BRING YOUR PETS HERE! (I would honestly give no stars.)

I have nothing bad to say about this place! Great and friendly staff, always so helpful and they really care for animals Dr Haas and his wife and incredible people! They genuinely care about animals and treat my pets with such tender care. When there is an emergency with my pets they try to squeeze me in for that day even though I have to make an appointment. So much more affordable and reasonable than the other veterinary on Kauai. I am forever grateful for this loving Vet and their staff!

Just plain nice people who work here and that take care of my fur baby. Dr. Haas always is gentle and tries not to cause anxiety during nail trims and shots, and is great with my fur baby too! LOLZ great place and I recommend them to everyone!

It was time to have our eldest furry child euthanized. With a heavy heart, we made the decision because his health was to a point where he was suffering. Dr. Hass and staff were so compassionate and made a very important and heart rending decision tolerable. Our baby boy joined the Wolfpack in heaven. Mahalo nui loa e Ke Akua!

Dr David Haas is an excellent vet. He cares for my baby with gentleness and compassion. Our previous dog, Keiki, was treated by the Doctor since he was a puppy. When it came time to let him cross that rainbow bridge his entire office was so compassionate and gentle with both my Keiki and myself. There were tears and they were very concerned for me when I left. Our other pup, who is a 16 year old man, is always treated with the gentle touch an old man like him deserved. Overall I would recommend this office. I drive an hour to get there due to the size of our island and the small road access but I will always go there.

Went In to get a rabies shot and a health certificate for my baby to be able to fly. They are super fast, knowledgeable, kind, and very patient. Thank you to Lyn, dr haas, and the rest of the staff there today! ????

My cat was dying and they offered to take her in with an appt in 5 days

Had my dog's monthly shot here for the first time and it couldn't have been a more painless operation, very professional, in and out maybe 15 minutes.

Good service to your pet

I know there is quite the variety of reviews on here but my experience with Dr. Haas has only been that of professional, kind and caring. He's the only vet on the island who would see my cat the same day when she had an infection. He is very thorough with his diagnosis, not quick to just give meds. I don't need Mary Poppins to see my cat I need Sherlock Holmes, Dr Hass is Sherlock. And the front office auntie is vert understanding and accommodating!

I called my regular vet for an appointment today because my cat's leg was bleeding. I thought he had cut it. The next appointment I was told was Friday. I didnt want to wait that long. I called Lihue Veterinarian Clinic and was told to bring in so they could take a look at his leg and not to feed him in case he needed surgery. He was examined and he had an abscess caused from a cat bite so he got an antibiotic shot and his vaccinations. I received a senior discount too. I was grateful for their care!

They are a small operation, but my fur babies have been going there for years. Dr. Hass and his wife are so wonderful to work with. Lynn at the front desk always tries to accommodate our needs. They are the best!

The ladies at the desk always has my dogs insulin ready. We appreciate that...

They are very sincere when your pet dies or is dying, the receptionist had to fight becoming emotional when my baby girl Abby passed, she even sent me a condolences card to my work place...

Dr Haas his wife Barbara and staff are personable and know how important animals are to their handlers. With a great sense of caring and medical knowledge releases the stress and tension one might encounter during an emergency or urgent visit with their loved ones. Ask questions and they have the answers that one can understand. Great staff!
