I cannot say enough about this business. Completely blown away by the service they provided to my kitten when I went away for the holidays. Heather offers top notch service and is purely professional. She really put me at ease knowing that Miss Mimi was being cared for by such a caring individual. I even received “selfies” from Mimi while I was away!! I would definitely recommend taking your cat there for any boarding needs.

Everyone at The Cat's Meow Inn is so kind, helpful, and professional. This was my first time being away from my cat and I didn't have to worry at all. I knew he was in great hands and that he was having a great time. They do everything right at The Cat's Meow Inn and I will definitely use them in the future.

I wish I could give the cats meow 100 stars to be honest. I had the most comforting, easy going, and reassuring experience boarding my Kitty here! Heather is incredibly wonderful and she genuinely cares about you and the cats transition from home to the facility as well as during their stay. She goes above and beyond to accommodate you and the needs of your precious cat during the entire stay. From start to finish My experience with the cats meow inn was remarkable and I couldn’t imagine taking my cat anywhere else. Being new to the island I heavily researched other boarding facilities and I was sad to find places that were in poor shape with metal cages all cramped up with other animals or places where they charge an arm and a leg to even pay attention to your animal. At the cats meow they have their bird tv, their own little space, and plenty of pet loves.I am so grateful to Heather and so happy I found this sweet little Kitty inn!!!!

My little 1 y.o. asian short haired kitty thoroughly enjoyed her 5 star accommodations at The Cats Meow Inn for 2 weeks while my family was on vacation! Heather (owner) was totally professional and handled every detail needed for a smooth transition from our home to checking in the hotel (The Cat's Meow inn)! My kitty had to be up to date on her shots, and properly treated for fleas and free from any kind of diseases.(verified from her vet) I felt reassured that this place screens and monitors all cats prior to checking in the Meow Inn. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has a feline furry friend. This is the best place ever! My kitty enjoyed her luxury foam bed mattress...and she loved Aunty Heather too!

I've been bringing my cats to Heather for years now. She's the only one I trust with my kitties. I think they would rather stay with her then come home with me since they get treated so well there. Very affordable rates and amazing customer service.

The Cats Meow Inn is the best place to board your kitties! Heather and Jamie are very professional, responsive and TRUE cat lovers. I called around a few other places and their prices were ridiculous and everything was ALA carte. Heather charges a flat rate and does not charge extra to send you pictures and play time. We boarded our cat for 12 days and we definitely felt at ease. Heather sent us updates and pictures throughout the 12 days. We will definitely be back and sending all of our cat friends her way!

Purrfect vacation for my kitty - we had Jaspurr for only a couple of months, and then realized that we had to find a place or him to stay when we took our vacation, during one of the busiest times of the year (Thanksgiving). Heather was kind enough to accept him in for the entire stay. We were so happy knowing that he had first class accommodations, play time, his own food and treats, knowledgeable and loving people with him (thanks Aunty Heather and Uncle Jamie) and health safety factored in as well! Jaspurr's vacation pictures from Heather eased our minds, and we could enjoy our own vacation. All of this for a GREAT price! And the ultimate compliment, is that he's is sitting in his carrier as I write this, waiting to go visit Aunty Heather again!

My wife and I had to leave the island for a 10-day family trip, shortly after we adopted our senior cat Lonnie. At first we were worried, since Lonnie had recently been abandoned by his previous owner, and he still appeared to be timid by the new environment. Nonetheless, we had to go on a family visit, so we turned to the cats meow inn, which has been taking care of our first cat. Heather send us photos of Lonnie on a regular basis, and Lonnie appeared secured and safe in his space. We felt comfort during our trip, knowing that Lonnie felt secured. After we came back and picked up Lonnie, Lonnie came home and became more loving and trusting towards us and to our first cat. We were thrilled. That shows how much care and love he experienced at the cats meow inn, and we are more than grateful to Heather and Jamie for taking care of Lonnie. Cats meow inn not only provide a safe and clean space for our cats, it also provides love and care as if they were my cats’ owner. We are grateful for having such a place and a team at the island to serve us and our pets.

I was so happy to have found this place when I had to go on a week long trip!! Heather was an awesome host and took care of my cat, updated me with pictures, and made sure I knew my cat was doing okay. The pricing is great compared to other places & they actually take care of your cat rather than sitting in a cage for days. Heather is also super polite & has really good communication even before my cat stayed at her inn. I appreciate her & her husband for dedicating their life and time to our cats because if not them, who would!!!! I would give 10 stars if I could

There’s not a person I trust more than Aunty Heather to watch over my fur baby Shadow. Heather was instant in her responses back and kept me well informed on all things cat. We were headed on a vacation to the mainland and wanted to make sure Shadow was in great hands. Honestly it appears my husband and I AND shadow were all on vacation with how awesome her little hotel room was at The Cats Meow Inn! I couldn’t have been more relaxed and stress free on vacation knowing that Shadow was in great hands. Highly recommend staying with The Cats Meow inn, you’ll thank me later!

Aunty Heather and Uncle Jamie are THE BEST! They are true cat lovers and experts. They have set the bar so high when it comes to sending my fur-son to kitty vacation. I will never send him anywhere else. I do not live near Kailua but it is worth the drive. I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to not worry about my kitty while we are gone. I've boarded at vet offices before and it is really heartbreaking to see them placed into a metal cage! I used to feel so guilty leaving him there with barking dogs and all the noise. But ever since I found The Cat's Meow Inn 3 years ago (recommended to me by my vet office), I travel stress and worry free. They have beautiful, spacious condos with multiple tiers for climbing and hanging out. Your cat gets to watch kitty TV with calm music playing. They are so attentive and will send you photo updates. Uncle Jamie scoops their litter boxes twice a day! Your search for cat boarding should really stop here. You will be disappointed and sad if you go anywhere else, trust me! And it's affordable, only $25 a day. The price and quality are simply unbeatable!

The Cat's Meow Inn was an amazing experience from the moment I called to see if there was space for my fur baby boy, Aka. The facility is truly a hidden gem tucked away in Kailua town. The kitty modules are equipped with four-post tempurpedic mattresses and every room has a TV playing outdoor bird scenes and fish viewing. I knew that Aka was going to receive the best care while I was on the mainland. During my trip, I received updates and pictures of him. To have complete peace of mind about Aka's care is priceless, and yet the daily charge is sooo reasonable. I will tell all my cat parents about the Inn, and most definitely use the service the next time I travel.

Heather was amazing!!!! We love her! Since I treat my cat Mozzie like my child, I am always super nervous to leave him in a new place but Heather was so fantastic throughout the whole process. She gave us all the information we needed and answered all of our questions. She answers questions and reviews everything over the phone which made me feel 100% more confident with dropping off my little baby. She is attentive to detail and communicated throughout Mozzie’s entire stay. I will only use Cats Meow Inn for my cat and I highly recommend Heather for anyone else who is looking to board their cat. There is a reason why she has such amazing reviews and she earned every single 5 star rating she has!!

Moopsir loved his stay! When I have had cat sitters staying at our home, Moopsir hides and mopes for days after my return. After his first stay at The Cat's Meow Inn, Moops has been as playful and affectionate as if I'd never left. I will certainly be taking him back!

If you're looking for a place to board your cat, you've found it. The Cat's Meow Inn is a place catering specifically to cats and they know what they're doing. My cat is skittish and feels uncomfortable with new people but this place I could tell my cat felt right at home way quicker than usual. She was happy and healthy when I picked her up after 5 days and was her normal self when back at home. This is in comparison to the last time I had to leave my cat. I let a friend sit for her and she lost a lot of weight from the stress. Plus, communication is fast and I got updates and pics of my cat! If you are debating between boarding your cat or having a friend watch it I 100% say go to The Cat's Meow Inn in Kailua! It's so much better for your cat.

The absolute best place to board your cat in Hawaii! Heather was so communicative and it was so clear that she and Jamie really care about the cats that stay with them. The pics that they sent regularly were very comforting and it was clear that our cat was very happy there. Not only is the Cat's Meow Inn the most pawtastic place to board, but it was also the most affordable place we could find. 10/10 cats recommend staying here ????????????????

Love this place! I had a short notice trip and was concerned about finding a quality place to take care of my kitty. They were able to find a way to accommodate my timeframe and made sure my kitty was well cared for, loved, and felt secure. My cat is very shy and tends to just hide but they made her comfortable enough to come out and play and get pets. Can't say enough great things about the care provided. I also received regular updates and pictures which made me feel much better. Finally, they took great care to ensure all pets have their vaccinations, flea medications, and free of anything that could infect others. I will not hesitate to take her here again and recommend to all my friends.

Heather was nothing but a joy and a privilege to work with. She always had such a cheery disposition and her cat puns are adorable. I contacted The Cat's Meow Inn because I had to go off island for a few weeks due to the loss of a loved one. Heather was so kind and considerate and was extra sensitive in handling my experience due to the nature of my leaving. She presented everything so thoroughly and made sure every question was answered. She answered the phone 24/7 and was always a joy to speak with. She went the extra mile in so many ways. She even aided me in finding a vet so I could have the proper documents for my cat's stay. The Cat's Meow Inn presented nothing but the highest of standards when it comes to cleanliness, safety, kindness, and comfort. I had no doubts whatsoever and felt so at ease leaving my sweetheart Fiadh in such a safe environment. The whole idea of an Inn (or more accurately, kitty resort) is phenomenal in the first place, but it really lives up to the idea. My kitty had a bed, litter box, and food/water all to herself. My cat even had bird and insect TV to keep her entertained! What an idea haha. It meant so much to me to know Fiadh wasn't going to be in a cage. I was able to focus on supporting my family and getting everything done that I needed to out of state. Heather went above and beyond in so many ways. She even sent me kitty updates with pictures and captions about my cat's activities. Real va-ca pics! The professionalism and care exhibited was unparalleled. I 100% recommend trusting the care of your furbaby into Heather's extremely more than capable hands! Fiadh and I will definitely be returning customers!

First of all, I was so happy to have found a place that would board cats????‍⬛ ????????. I needed to be out of town for 21 nights. It was very affordable at just $25/day + tax. An awesome place specializing and catering to CATS ONLY, wow! I was worried that my cat would be put in a small cage for 21 nights, but was pleased to learn that there was no cage, but a living quarters. I truly felt that my cat was on vacation at a luxury hotel for 21 nights. Communication from the owner, Heather, was very professional and heart-felt. I could tell that she was very caring about how I felt and how she and her staff would be caring and absolutely loving towards my cat. In fact, Heather even stayed in touch with me throughout my trip by sending me pics now and then, with an update of my cat looking very comfortable and happy. All of these things gave me extreme peace of mind while I was out of town. I did not have to worry about my cat. My cat was very well taken cared of????. I would definitely recommend The Cats Meow Inn in Kailua to anyone needing to board their cat. The easiest 5-Star ???????????????????? rating I've ever given. Love ❤ this place and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Heather and Jamie did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Barley while I was away on vacation! They are super helpful and always there to answer any questions. The daily updates with pictures of my fur-baby with amazing cat puns was just what I needed to be able to enjoy my time off without worrying!

This was the first time I’d been away from my kitties and I didn’t have to worry about them one bit! I wanted a place who would give them attention and not lock them in a cage and this is it!!!! Plus NO DOGS ???????? If I decide to travel home again, I would book with the Cat’s Meow Inn without hesitation! The owner, Heather is so sweet and eased my worries by sending text message updates and pics of my precious babes during their stay which is why I didn’t even need to worry because they were in the best hands! It’s also much more affordable than other places I was looking into! I highly recommend boarding your kitties here!

The Cats Meow Inn (Heather and Jaime) took wonderful care of our boy Romeo! I cannot praise their services enough!! It can be stressful leaving your furry family even for a short time, Heather was courteous and professional and really helped ease my worry. A couple of snafus occurred before our trip, and Heather could not have been more patient or nicer when days/plans changed at the last minute. I received a photo and update of Romeo each day. I would highly recommend The Cats Meow Inn to anybody that has to go away and leave their beloved pets!

The Cat's Meow Inn provided worry-free, reliable, 24/7 on-premises supervision of my two cats while I was on a mainland trip. Far and away better than other cat boarding services I have experienced. The owner even provided periodic photos of my cats which is reassuring and the price is very reasonable. Exceeded my expectations in every respect which is rare these days.

This place is a gem and like no other!! The owner Heather is an incredible human and has so much heart and dedication to our furkitties. She knows her stuff and has created an amazing business! Excellent customer service from start to finish. She is very thorough in her explanations and provides a ton of attention to detail so that you know what to expect. She ensures that you feel confident that you are leaving your little one in good hands. My cat stayed at the Cat's Meow Inn for the past week and I received picture updates and regular communication about my kitty. I was very impressed with all the amenities- bird and gecko TV, soft beds, temperature controlled environment, AND solo play time! I was also so pleased that each cat gets their own condo and can move around freely (NO CAGES)! They allow you to give them a schedule and food so that your kitties routine stays the same despite the location change. I brought my kitties cat scratcher and it fit nicely in her condo. I think she felt at home and also like she was being pampered! We plan to go back in October and I will be leaving my little one for 2 weeks. Now that I know she is in AMAZING hands, I look forward to taking her back to this resort! Thank you team for everything...you really are a gift to kitty pet owners! In deep gratitude!

The Cats Meow Inn is a hidden gem for any cat lover looking for a safe place to keep their kitty while they are away. Very rarely do you find an establishment that is as good as all their reviews say, but The Cats Meow Inn is THAT good and even better. They are a cat only boarding establishment that can only be accurately described as a 5-star feline hotel. This is the only place that I feel comfortable leaving my Sophie at. Their 6 story beautifully crafted kitty condos have clear plexi glass doors instead of metal cage doors like other places. The cats have their own TVs that have bird videos on them, 4 post memory foam mattress kitty beds, and a “litter box engineer” who cleans litter boxes frequently. When you speak to Heather (the owner), you immediately know she is passionate about what she does and is knowledgeable about all things cat related. She requires updated vaccinations, flea treatment and parasite screening which makes me feel good that Sophie who is an indoor cat won’t pick anything up while she’s away from home. Her checkin times are in the morning and allows for the rest of the day to be strictly devoted to caring for the cats. We dropped Sophie off for curbside pickup and got a text shortly after saying she settled in nicely and I that she was being fed breakfast. Heather is meticulous about remembering all the little details like Sophie’s favorite blanket and her raw food feeding instructions. She is so accommodating and goes even further to make you feel comforted by sending pictures of your kitty every day. For someone who worries constantly about Sophie, I can honestly say I barely worried at all while away. Heather left me no time to worry as she sent frequent updates during our vacation. On pickup from our last stay, Heather made sure to coordinate a time with me which went seamlessly. Sophie came back to us happy, healthy and if possible even more affectionate. I knew that she was and is in good hands with Heather at The Cats Meow Inn and I will continue to support her establishment as long as she will have us.

Because of the pandemic, we had not been away from our cats in about 2 years, and also because of the pandemic, we didn't have friends from the mainland coming to house/cat sit like in pre-Covid times. A friend recommended The Cat's Meow Inn and we are so grateful! I reached out to Heather, and she is an expert communicator, putting my anxiety to rest. All the steps for boarding the cats were clearly explained and I was able to plan a veterinary visit for them to get the vaccinations we needed ahead of time. The only thing I'd do differently is to bring a stool sample for each cat to the vet, but we were able to drop those off and get the results in time. Drop off was easy - again with clear instructions provided by Heather - and Jamie was there ready to get the cats started on their kitty vacation. Each day we were gone Heather checked in and provided photos of the cats, who are brother & sister and boarded together. We knew they were safe and secure. I’ve had my cat here a few times and it’s the only place I will have her stay. The owners are amazing and are very responsive and helpful. I wish I could give more stars to this review because they go above and beyond. I recommend this place to everyone I know! Overall very professional, genuine and caring.

We had never boarded Roxy before, so I was very worried about finding the right place for her!! I had heard about other places and could not imagine leaving Roxy at any of them. A trusted friend told me about the The Cats Meow Inn. Her friend had boarded her cats there (she worked a at veterinary clinic) and had only praise for Heather and her Inn! I loved the fact that they weren't in cages, but condos, and there were only cats being boarded there (no dogs)! Heather went above and beyond to reassure me and sent me lots of pictures which gave me such peace of mind! I really loved that! There is nowhere else in Hawaii that you can board your fur baby that will take better care of them! I will definitely take Roxy back to stay with Heather at the Meow Inn next time we travel! aloha, Gale
