Great Service have used them for many years

I love Alii vet. There is someone there 24 hrs a day to help if you need it. I have called them with questions at night about something my dog ate and they always answer and are helpful. I have taken my dogs there for all their appts and have done so for years. Been with them through 5 or 6 dogs now over 13+ years. When my Anela was very old and it was time, they were so loving and kind and helped me and her through it all. The vets and staff are wonderful. There is a vet hospital on site.. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

Best vets ever, and I have been involved in animal rescue since I was very young. They are always up on latest treatments, and genuinely care about the animals. I have heard other vets go to them for clients requiring difficult surgeries. They donate services to humane society for homeless animals. My Himalayan got severe kidney disease at age 16, and these phenomenal vets kept her alive til age 19. They kept her comfortable as well. The staff are very dedicated and hard working. When my Sasha had to be in hospital on her birthday, they actually made her a kitty "birthday " cake. They treat your pet the same as they would treat one of their own pets. I recommend them as the highest caliber of veterinarians!

I have tried to reach them on numerous occasions and phone immediately goes voicemail to which they never respond. General response on their email which states that they usually respond within 24 hours but no such luck. I would have expected a professional response from a care provider.

It was a drive up and they come out and take care of you experience! This was our first trip here with a new puppy and they did an outstanding job and took care of everything. Even took the time to talk to me about some questions and concerns that I had so it was a very good experience overall!

Not good. I was willing to give all I had ($270.00 quoted to me over the phone) so I gave my last, balance remaining, credit card so that Buster, my 6 month old brindle puppy, could have an educated chance at diagnosing his sudden listless behavior and no appetite. Ann was fairly decent over the phone with qyestions suggestions and request for vid/pics to her Iphone so she could discuss with doctor but my droid will not send videos through texting. They do not accept email. After driving from OV we waited in the hot sun for 2 hours watching other customers come and go (some emergency, some by appointment) Finally a tech (? No one introduces themselves here) came out to take Busters' temp and perform a Parvo swab. Fine. But as it was approaching 5pm when all other clinics close and I was getting nervous Alii would simply lock up and go home. Alii was recommended by an OV veterinarian who also refused to stay after their 12pm closing time to see Buster. Which was fine, at thAt time. But not after you have nowhere to go. I made some noise, I think anybody would, and left with just the $85 charge for the Parvo swab. But no results. Poor, poor customer service:. They communicate policies to protect their livelihood but not the best interests of first time customers.

Dr. Maria is the best!! Our puppy had a really bad injury and she fixed her up so quickly. They kept over night for observation and she is one happy puppy ???? Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

My sweet dog was attacked by 2 pit bulls and needed emergency service where she needed stitches & i called the emergency line & they were able to take her in immediately & give her all the care & service she needed. We are super grateful & thankful for these hardworking ladies!(:

They really do care about your pets

I take my two boys (goldens) there twice a week, they love to play with the other dogs. The staff is super friendly, fun and take such good care of all the guests. The place is always really clean. I also get them groomed there and Manny is wonderful with washing and trimming my nervous boys.

After various experiences over the years, I strongly believe Dr Beth is the top vet in Kailua-Kona.

the lady who picked up the phone was so rude. I tried to make an appointment and all she said was that it's impossible without even asking for my pets condition.

I moved to Kona from Honolulu a year ago and although this hospital came highly recommend and their Doctors are wonderful, they need major improvements with staff and efficiency. 1. Precious (?) is very abrasive and on several occasions, I’ve witnessed her yelling at other clients and being somewhat confrontational with them in a lobby full of people. To me, this is unacceptable and very unprofessional behavior. I also had my boyfriend go to the office to get a refill of my dog’s chronic allergy medication and she yelled at him saying, “48 hours! We need 48 hours to refill the prescriptions!” 48 hours to count out 15 tablets?! Even Walmart doesn’t take that long! 2. The weekend receptionist could really use some customer service training and better bedside manner, so to speak. Let’s start with not waiting 5-10 minutes before acknowledging someone who is standing in the already small lobby area. You might be wondering why I’m giving 3 stars, but as I said before, the Doctors are amazing and I do like some of the techs like Lauren, Shauna and Jan, They are always very helpful and accommodating when I call or stop by for medications or supplies. The stars are for them.

Top notch service. Our poor biscuit ended up with kennel cough after a long stay at a borders house. They worked with us to get him healthy and keep their other patients safe from the highly contagious virus. Nothing but big smiles and happy customers right here!
