Jordan and his staff were awesome. Went to get some advise and items for my rescue Puna and they were more then helpful. Not only did I get the food and small things I needed, got some great advice on helping here get used to her new environment.

Love this specialty shop! Everyone that works there makes you feel welcome, and their selection of goods is unmatched by any pet store on the island!! As a bonus some days there is a pup or two in the store too! ????????????

We started feeding our pup raw with the Bones & co. pet food they carry. We've gotten anything from treats, leashes, shampoo, milk bones, and bone broth here. I just trust that whatever I buy from them will be consciously sourced and as local/ fair trade as possible (you get what you pay for). Now that we're thinking of prepping our pup's raw diet ourselves, Steph has given us valuable resources to start transitioning. Love this place + their customer service. Highly recommend to get quality produx for your fur babies.

Staff is super knowledgeable and very friendly! Parking is a little tight, but they do have a few stalls next to the building as well as a few street parking options outside. Pre-Covid, they also used to host events on the weekends. I'm looking forward to attending these events again when it's safe to do so, but I love that they still are open and just as helpful as ever!

I love this place! This is by far one of the best pet shops on Oahu. They are very friendly and have a variety of supplies. Kodi (my pup) loves it here ????

They were so informative of my dogs health issue( they even have a actual nutritionists ) and you can tell that they really care about what goes into your pet. They were so awesome!!!!

Great place! Super friendly staff that is concerned with the well being of your pet. Gave a couple samples of a cat food and when it was one that our cat approved of we went back and bought a bunch. A community oriented shop!

Oh public pet how I love thee! Love what you've done with our neighborhood bringing community in where it was much needed. You also bring the aloha in through the service events such as adoptions and such that you host. You also carry the cutest gifts all locally made and of course the natural and raw foods that our fur babies enjoy. We love having you here and hope you continue to stay. You are a mainstay in our kaimuki neighborhood.

We have been raving fans of Public Pet since their Instagram feed introduced us to Bogart. He gets all of his Raw Dog Hawaii food and must have accessories and goodies there. The owners and employees are the nicest people you will ever meet and they have a genuine love for you and your furry family. They are an awesome, positive force for the local community.

Friendly service. Great selection of leashes and bandannas for my dog. My dog loved the hard Himalayan yak cheese chews and deer antlers. I get my Raw Dog Hawaii food there and wild caught ahi treats. Great supporter of local brands.

Very friendly and hospitable, has many unique items. The owner had natural suggestions to aid dogs insecurities. Like being in your own backyard.

It did not open on time because the manager who had the keys was out on a coffee run. There were 6 of us left standing on the sidewalk waiting for him to show up.

I love specialty shops like this with quality selections of grain free and byproduct free food. I like to make sure my fur baby is eating as healthy as possible. This store also carries local art, and the owners and employees are charming, friendly, and know their stuff. Its cool that they keep their own pets in store on shift. I love meeting their dogs!

This store reminds me of San Francisco. No where in Hawaii can you find a store that feels like a chill spot for pets. Not your avaerage pet shop!!

The owner Jordan is not just an animal lover to the core but he's an amazing business owner. He takes pride in his products and he is definitely more knowledgeable with his craft than any other person I've ever spoken with in a pet store. His products and store are high quality.
