The best cat hotel in town!

Our cat really enjoys being boarded there. They play with her and send us pictures when we are on vacation. They are friendly, loving, and caring.

My cat Bella has stayed at Pounce twice now. I wouldn’t trust anywhere else! The ladies have all become her aunties. My main concern when looking for someplace I could have Bella stay, was that it wasn’t going to be in any sort of cage. I didn’t want her to think I was abandoning her. So now when I go to a hotel on my trips, she stays in a suite at Pounce! While I’m traveling, I get text messages with photos from Bella. Love it.

Amazingly warm and professional staff! Very convenient location and gorgeous facility. Our kitty will be staying with them for a long stay, and I went in for a preboarding appointment to talk about meds and special services. Five stars so far! Will follow up after our trip, but felt they earned a review today! Thank you, ladies!

Recommend!! First time boarding my cat and went on a 10 day trip. I had total comfort and confidence that my cat would be taken care of. I opted in for the photo updates (think it's like $2 or $3 a day), I loved seeing him having fun. When I picked up my cat we got a complimentary scratch pad. I'll definitely be back what I travel again and in general for their other services! Thanks Pounce Hawaii!

It's such a cute little place with cute little kitties!! I enjoy being in here. If I wish I have more time, I would go back over and over. It's worth the money. But on my break, I find time to hang out with the cats! Recommend this place!

Our first time boarding our cats and we are very happy overall. Customer service was top notch and our cats were well taken care of. Will be using them again when we can travel in the future. Highly recommended

The kittens were so happy and playful when i visited to adopt ???? Both employees were very informative on the kitten i was adopting regarding all the medical history, etc. as well as how to readjust the kitten to a new household & new surroundings . You can tell they care to / for both the kittens, as well as their guests, to the best of their abilities and I'm grateful I found them, as well as our new addition.

Amazing!! Pebbles loved her time at pounce Hawaii. Cannot thank you all enough. Everything went so smoothly and I know she was taken care of so well. Can’t wait to return.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: When we planned our summer vacation, we also had to plan to board our family cat. We recently moved to Honolulu from Kaneohe. We asked our vet for their recommendations, and POUNCE HAWAII was recommended (among others). We checked out POUNCE online and liked that their website was very professional, easy to navigate; liked their attention to safety, and their available services for their boarders. Very impressive at first view. The variety of private "suites" for their boarder guests was important to us; they looked very clean, pleasant, and a place that we felt good about leaving our cat while we were away; almost like home. While visitors are not allowed due to COVID, photos of their facilities was available on their website. After our reservation was confirmed, we received clear instructions.They were quick to respond to our reservation request, and subsequent emails from us. Their "checklist" for check-in and check-out was VERY helpful. Evidence of vaccinations and flea treatment is required. We appreciated their personal attention to our reservation before his stay, and especially during our catʻs stay. Our overall experience with POUNCE HAWAII was excellent from beginning to the end of our catʻs stay. We just felt that our cat would be cared for and cared about just from our overall experience and their personal attention. We felt very assured that our fur baby would be well taken care of; not a worry. We highly recommend POUNCE, and we would definitely use their boarding service again. By the way, they also have a CAT LOUNGE, a clear sign that they love and care about our feline friends.

I boarded my cat Weasel for about a week while I visited family. I live in an apartment building and it seemed like a big hassle to have someone come and feed him in the morning and in the evening, and put his #2 in the toilet everyday! He also has kitty anxiety and would just hide from them anyway. Pounce has a nice small room where he could hide and feel as calm his nerves would let him. They were very responsive to me, and attentive to Weasel. When we got home, I expected him to hide a few days, maybe even spray from being around other kitties, but he just wanted to be with me everywhere I went. He drank water and ate, and did much better than I thought he would! I would definitely recommend Pounce for your kitties stay while you're away!

Left our kitty here when we went inter island for a staycation. Drop off and pick up very easy, appointment time made both efficient and quick. I had to change our drop off time and it was no problem. Everyone very friendly and helpful, obviously cat lovers! We got a cute picture of our kitty in her suite and she was very content. We will definitely be using Pounce again for our kitty!

I was going off island and had to make arrangements for my 3year old cat I adopted “Lilikoi “. I looked into a number of places to board her and was just heartsick to see them in cages. What a joy to find Pounce Hotel! She had a room , no cage, and they were wonderful about sending pictures and updates. They had me leave a voicemail they could play for her. They said she was shy the first couple days but sent pictures of her warming up to them. I am so grateful to have found them !

Pounce took care of our 4 fur babies while our home was tented. They were able to pair them 2 and 2 with toys and cubbies just like home. We really appreciated being able to call and get updates during their stay. Boretta always answered the phone and Erin did the individual care, everyone acknowledged our concerns and set us at ease. We would definitely recommend this Kitty Hotel for anyone that wants personal care that is top notch. Especially, if your kitties aren't use to strangers and traveling like ours were. ;)

The people at Pounce Hawaii were very friendly, caring and helpful. Àlthough due to COVID restrictions I could not see or visit my pet they took good care of her and allowed me drop off different food, toys and other comfort items to help her settle in. For a small fee I could record messages, view videos and other possible options but I choose not to. She was ultimately very happy and seemed very comfortable. They even clipper her nails with no problems. I would highly recommend them to others.

I have never trusted anyone to take care of my baby before, but we had to find lodging for her recently due to an emergency. Erin and Boretta were able to find space for my baby and treated her to a five star luxury staycation! They played a voicemail of my voice to help her adjust, and sent me lots of pictures. I really appreciate everything the lovely owners of Pounce Hawaii did to make my baby comfortable. Thank you!!!

Lovely people, took great care of our Sandy. They even clipped her nails. There were a couple of things I wasn't prepared for like bringing our own food,and some charges I didn't anticipate. All in all happy with the stay.

Very friendly service, and was always willing to answer our questions we had about the kitties. The adoption process was easy and explained very well to us, and allowed us to contact them if we had any questions about our new kitten. Would recommend anyone to come here, wether they are looking to adopt, or just want to have some fun with adorable cats!

Definitely recommend for anyone needing to put their cat on a hotel! The staff is so accommodating; our flight was delayed getting here, and instead of checking in at 3:45 like we expected, we didn’t get there until 6PM, and Erin waited for us! Our kitty doesn’t like being away from us, but he did very well, and was well taken care of. We requested some picture updates, and got them when we asked for them, with a nice message attached! If we ever need to put our little guy in a hotel again, we’re definitely going to use Pounce Hawaii. Thank you, Pounce!!

The Pounce Hawaii team was such a blessing for our family. We were moving off island and much coordination was needed with our pet shipper for our 3 cats. This was a stressful time but Pounce Hawaii was responsive and quick for every call, email, and request we made of them. Boretta and Erin truly went above and beyond in the service they provided for our cats and family. We will forever be grateful. Thank you ladies!

I had heard of Pounce Hawaii from @catpeopleofoahu on Facebook. There were sister kittens who needed a home staying in one of the Pounce Hawaii Deluxe suites. My son and I made an appointment to visit the lounge so we could see if the sisters would be a good fit for our home. I was skeptical and a bit unaware of what exactly Pounce Hawaii was. I called prior to our appointment to ask a few questions and spoke with Erin.. she was knowledgeable and so kind and patient. When we pulled into one of the parking spots in front of the store. There was a huge pane glass window that featured kittens sleeping, jumping, and playing. We started to get excited ????. The lounge is $20 per person to come in and sit with cats and kittens who need to be adopted for an hour and 15 minutes . The cats get the human socializing (pets, snuggles, play and such) they need while the people get the love of many cats and perhaps a new family member in the end. Pounce Hawaii offers monthly memberships for 100$ for those of us who loves cats but cannot keep one of their own. They offer outstanding grooming packages. The sister cats we adopted smelled and looked so clean, were super soft, had clipped nails,, and were completely relaxed. (Pounce had some beautiful Zen music in the background as well). They also offer boarding to folks who are traveling or need to place their cats somewhere for a few days. The individual rooms for the cats are nice sized. They house up to two cats a room. There are sturdy wooden cubbies, a scratching board, two sleeping areas for the cats on the wall and toys to play with. Boretta went over the process from start to finish with us. She was personable and professional. She told us about the personality of both cats (she was right on the money with both cats) and how to get them to warm up to us. She offered us a variety of drinks during our stay (tea, juice, coffee, water) and delivered our requested drinks with a cute cat head shaped paper napkins with gold embossed eyes, nose, mouth, and whiskers. It was so cute ????! She would check in on us now and then and answered all questions I had. The room was spotless by the way, they practiced social distancing, took our temperature, had hand sanitizer, and required masks. The entrance had cat toys, food, litter, litter boxes, dried cat nip, catnip concentrate spray, cat food, treats, and cute Pounce Hawaii shirts. We will be back for the shirts, more dried catnip and catnip spray, and the lovely pine kitty litter. I plan on using their facilities as often as I can for our kitten fix and the kitty spa. My son and I had a great time and came home with two beautiful new additions to our family!

It was our first family trip since we adopted Trooper and looking for cat hotel was one thing I was stressing about and didn’t want to leave him alone at home but also didn’t want to leave him in a cage. When I first saw Pounce and their hotel rooms, I knew this was it. Before even boarding Trooper, they responded fast and gave simple easy steps that we needed to do in order to safely board him to the hotel to protect all other cats there. Even the during his stay communicating with them to see how he was doing made us feel relieved for being separated with him for the first time! They have service to send mom/dads to let us know how their fur babies are doing!! I was so happy to hear he was having great time there. Hearing about he just sit and let them bath him knew they know how to bond with fur animals and I have no doubt your cats will have amazing time and they will take great care of! I 100% recommend Pounce Hawaii and Thank you so much for the amazing work !!
