These people are amazing with animals. They remember you and treat you like you are family. They send out hand written notices of when the appointment is coming up each year. They treat you and the animal with complete and total respect.

All staff is kind and caring. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Dr. McGraw is very thorough and personable. She was answering questions before I could even asked them. The staff were very friendly and really seem to enjoy their jobs.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABY TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!! This is my dog's/ my mom's dog's vet. Patricia Frazier Nikita got out this afternoon and ran wild. I caught up to her and she fell over and shook for about 5 sec. She would not get up! She could not get up!! Her head was limp in my hands. She could not hold her head up and started to breathe wierd. I looked at the time and it was around 4:15. Thank God her Dr is still open. My husband and I Jay Horton picked Nikita up and put her in the car. They close at 6. I called to tell them I was on the way. The lady said very loud and rudely oh he can't see her he already has appointments booked. I then said this is an emergency. Our baby is in the back of the car possibly dying, what do you mean he can't see her??? She said take her to the ER. I said it doesn't open for another 1hr. 20 mins. She said you are coming from Danville and won't get here before we close. At that time I was 6mins away and furious with this hateful, unconcerned woman. I told her I can't believe she wouldn't see their patient!! We pulled in the parking lot AT 4:50!!! My mom went in. Came back out in tears. He really wouldn't see her! I mean if you were at your Dr's office and started having a heart attack and he said oh I'm sorry are you in pain well to bad I can't see you because I already have patients booked. WTH! We drove to the ER vet (which these people are so good) waiting for 6:00. Ya'll I'm bout to loose my religion, I swear! Please say a prayer for sweet kita!!Nikita passed away at 6:30. At the ER

The team at HLAH are so kind and helpful. I love how they tolerate all my questions. (I have A LOT.) They take good care of my pets and even when I lived an hour and a half away, I still brought my puppy here to be spayed.

We wanted to get a new dog so our dog has company because he gets very anxious when he’s left by himself, so we decided to get a rescue from this animal hospital. I’ve had dogs for my entire life and they have all had full lives of affection, nourishment, shelter, etc. and they’ve received they’re shots regularly. However, because some of our dogs didn’t receive they’re rabies shots on an exact 12 month time frames every year, we were deemed unfit to adopt a homeless rescue dog “ever”. (Keep in mind we’ve been going to this place for 10 years now.)This is a very poor decision. There are homeless dogs that die of old age in shelters every day, yet when someone goes to actually buy one, they’re expected to follow very meticulous standards and if they don’t follow them exactly, they will be rejected.

These folks are absolutely awesome. Dr. McGraw sees my pups and she’s fantastic. She truly cares about her patients, and her own pets, and it shows. The entire staff is clearly made up of pure-hearted animal lovers that earnestly want to do good for your pets just because they exist. It’s the most unconditional love. How could I not trust them absolutely with my family members’ health? They’re the type of people you can just tell are good by being in their general vicinity. The goodness just pours out of them unintentionally because it’s genuinely who they are. And as a result the world is a better place for all kinds of animals. Pictured: My very happy and healthy pups that see Dr. McGraw. She handles Henry’s allergies and skin sensitivity with ease. Hades’s anxiety is nothing in the face of Dr. McGraw’s care. I can’t say enough great things about this place because of how well these guys are doing.

I used to bring my cats do closer clinics, but this place won me over with their careful consideration of my cat's physical and emotional wellbeing. I've never had a vet advise me on how to minimize my fur baby's stress before coming here. They truly care about my precious girls. ???? The prices are more than reasonable for this excellent and helpful service.

As a new pet parent I was very happy with their patients with me. They took good care of Blaze and I appreciate that they answered all my questions, and I had plenty. They are reasonably priced and they made me feel like they cared about Blaze.

Uodate: 1 year later and we still absolutely LOVE HLAH and the entire staff. Dr. Henke is the absolute best, but not to take any away from the other doctor, she is also fabulous! I won’t take my pets anywhere else. We have not had a single bad experience and we are treated like family every time! Original review: Iam new to the area and have been looking for a new vet to take my dogs to. I am so glad I found this place! The prices are very reasonable. I brought Tucker here for his chronic allergies. I paid $48 dollars for an exam and $100 for a Cytopoint allergy injection. Those are VERY reasonable prices from my previous experiences. The staff is extremely friendly. We were greeted upon entering the office and the first thing I noticed was that the office smelled and appeared very clean. We arrived 5 mins early for the appointment and were brought into an exam room almost immediately. Within 5 mins we had a technician in the exam room. The technician greeted us when she came into the room and sat down on the floor with my dog the entire time she gathered a brief history, up until she brought him back for his weight. The doctor came into the room within minutes and examined Tucker from head to toes and discussed the treatment plan. She was so sweet! Not once did I feel rushed. It's obvious to me that the staff here are all passionate about animals. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks HLAH!
