DeKalb Animal Hosp. has a good plan for protecting clients from COVID. You call them when you get there, and they escort you into the lobby after they have cleared the area of other patients and clients. The lobby was clean and orderly. The exam room was also very clean and neat. The vet took her time with my pet, and gave it a thorough exam. I was very happy with our visit.

Really appreciate Doctor Roberts and the staff at Dekalb Animal Hospital! I have a great cat with a chronic condition and they have been both caring and responsive. The management of their busy practice and Covid protocols have been reasonable and well thought out. I recommend them highly.

This place is outrageously expensive. I went to get a rabies vaccine and heartworm medication for 2 dogs and ended up paying over $700. While looking at my receipt I was charged $75 for an exam for each dog. The vet couldn't even touch one of my dogs because he was too anxious. I have given this vet multiple chances but have never left an appointment without paying more than $200. Even for a vist for one of my dogs. They are NOT transparent with their fees. They add all these extra fees and tests and then show you a bill for hundreds of dollars after services are rendered. Save yourself some money and find a different vet!

Absolutely love Dr. Rush! He was always amazing with our English Bulldog Bella. He did her c-section and it went without complications. He removed a growth on her neck several years after that. He truly understands animals.

I have been going to Dekalb since Max was born 12+yes ago. They always have friendly staff members and physicians who really care. This particular time I requested medications be placed in their after hours spot it was missed. I drove an extra 50mins after working a 12hr shift to find no medicine. Needless to say I was a little upset since I was scheduled to leave the next day and needed those medications. When I called and talked to Kristen she fixed the problem RIGHT AWAY!!!! She found a FedEx around the corner that would deliver it to me by the next day before noon. This worked out perfectly. Thank you Kristen for making this possible.

I cannot say enough good things about DeKalb Animal Hospital! In particular DR. CARLA COURTNEY is an absolute angel. On my first visit, they didn’t have my appointment in the system (which was probably at least partly my fault). My dog seemed to be feeling really sick. Her regular vet closed their office, and another was not taking any new patients, so I was very relieved to get an appointment with DeKalb Animal Hospital. When they didn’t have my appointment in their system and said they could not help me, I was so upset I was actually crying in the parking lot. Dr. Courtney was walking past and asked how I was. When I told her what happened, she MADE time for us, right that minute. I know that is not always possible, and I suspect it may have interrupted other things she had to do, but I was so worried about my dog, and Dr. Courtney was so kind! I am so grateful for that attention, and for how helpful all the staff at DeKalb Animal Hospital is, I just cannot say enough how much I appreciate you all. Thank You!

The staff is phenomenal. Can't say enough about the doctors. I am partial to Dr. Scott Roberts. Have been taking my babies to see him since 1989! He is compassionate and will always tell you the truth. Love this vet hospital. They are amazing.

We have taken our animals to Dekalb Animal Hospital for several years. Dr. Robert's is our vet and love the front desk people as well. My interactions with their team has been kind, friendly, and supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better vet, since our previous one passed away.

My 8 week old kitty had his first vet appointment and it went great. I couldn't believe that he allowed the doctors and technicians pick him up, cut his nails, and give him his shots. He was such a big boy and they were awesome

My wife and I have our 3 cats and 1 dog under the care of Dekalb Animal Hospital. Mostly speaking to our dog's care who sees them more regularly than the house cats. We are always impressed by the level of care and professionalism. Today for the first time while updating our dog's rabies vaccine utilized their grooming services and again were not disappointed. Thank you all for being a part of the Tucker community!

Always a great experience with DAH. ???? My buddy Bryson always seems happy after staying there for a few days. He gets right back to begging once at home.

I would recommend Dekalb Animal Hospital because all the staff work so well together and are caring and professional. Our dog was not nervous during the appointment and was treated very well.

I have been using Dekalb Animal Hospital for 20+ years The've taken care of my dog "Kodie" who my wife and I brought to Atlanta with us. As well as all the pet we've had since moving to Atlanta 27 years ago. I've seen their practice grow over that time - all while cosistently providing excellent care.

This is a great animal hospital. The doctors are great! Some of the staff members need to make certain all names, billing info and items match up and are correct before handing to the owner. I understand mistakes happen, but just focus!

Procedure: Soft Palate Resection and everterted saccule removal. I can't say thank you enough to Dr.Rush and his entire team for the outstanding quality surgery provided to my EB, as well as the friendliness in customer service and communication prior and during my visit with each and all of you. The ease and fast schedule to treat my EB who had pretty bad breathing problems was outstanding. Dr.Rush was communicating prior via phone with me as we traveled from out of town for treatment. Email communication and additional phone calls between us were fast responded between Dr.Rush and his team. I received another call Post-OP to ensure we all is good with my dog, and the entire Staff, especially the morning crew were very friendly and kind. I am having a very hard time finding local care for my EB as not many Veterinarians in my area are experienced enough with the Breed...I can only highly recommend DeKalb Animal Hospital for the excellence in caring for my EB and will not mind traveling again if need be in the future. Thank you to each and all of you to finally help my dog breathing better. Not to mention the immediate result after surgery and with no complications at all !

Dr. Robert's is great with our pitbulls. He gets them! On this visit our oldest was feeling lethargic and not moving very well. Dr Robert's took his time with the examination had some tests done to determine what the issue was. He's very good about explaining it in layman's terms and calling back to follow up. I appreciate that he cares! Front desk staff are friendly and considerate as well.

Had an appointment at 9am was sitting in the parking lot till 9:30 only to sit in the waiting room for 45 mins cuz the doctor wasn’t even on the way to work...terrible staff, and service, and they hit another dog in the lobby for barking... smh never go here!

The only place I trust with my fur babies. I moved further away 5 years ago but I still make the trip here for my dog's care because they love him and all of the pets that come here. It is apparent in their quality of care, consideration, customer service and integrity.

I can't say enough about Dekalb Animal Hospital. I had a cat and I have a 10 year old golden retriever and have been going there for about 5 years. I've worked with Dr. Rush, Roberts and Courtney during that time and have had excellent service and care from each one. When it was time to put my cat to sleep, Dr. Rush and a technician made a very caring and professional house call, so he could pass at home with us. Most recently they got a new groomer who is fantastic. My golden would always shake and cower at 2 other local groomers we used. But he seems to love the groomer at Dekalb Animal Hospital. No shakes or hesitation at all and the grooming is impeccable. She also does a few extras that the other groomers didnt do, and the pricing is great. My dog is my kid and I would take him anywhere in Atlanta and I take him here.
