Village Vets has taken care of all of my lil furry friends for both wellness and sickness checks! They are the bomb! Love Village Vets -- personable, EAT-OFF-THE-FLOOR spotless veterinary and overall loving and caring staff from reception to care.

This Stone Mountain clinic is very responsive when my Ava has issues that need immediate attention but may not be in the “ emergency” category. They also have a “Happy Camper” program while boarding your pet whereby pictures and feedback is sent to the owner. Very reassuring! And the staff are all so incredibly friendly and helpful!! It might be expensive but well worth it.

Dr. Heath is amazing. I made an appointment for both of my kitties. Unfortunately, my nearly 19 year old cat had gone through a sharp decline in the few days before our appointment. Sadly, we had to euthanize her. My heart was broken and Dr. Heath (& the amazing assistant) we’re so gentle and kind with both of us. They let me hold her and Dr. Heath actually sat down in the floor so that he could do what was needed for my old girl while she was in my lap. He helped me through making an awful decision, and showed kindness and gentleness to our fragile girl. He also took great care of our other kitty but I’m sorry to say I don’t remember as much of that part of the appointment. Once I realized how dire the situation was for our old kitty my brain shut down to everything else.

I moved away from this location, so I am sad that I have to go to another vet clinic. My cat, like most, doesn't do well with car rides and the journey here is over 30 minutes and it stresses him out and doesn't react well. Village Vets of Stone Mountain saved my cat's life. I rescued him and he was very sick. Dr. Irish and Dr. Flanagan were amazing and helped him to recover from his sickness and also a sporadic limb condition he had right afterwards. If you want the best care for your pet, Village Vets is top notch. I only wish they had a location closer to me that I could go to.

I called here this week trying to get an appointment for my dog. I was told that they aren’t taking new appointments until September. 2 weeks away… If I wanted an appointment in September then I should fill out the new patient form on their website and someone would call me to book an appointment. I was thinking ok strange but I’ll do it… Before the lady hung up she then added to that by saying since my dog is a new patient I would need to pay the $65 office visit fee up front when they call me to book the appointment. My first instinct when I got off the phone is that this place doesn’t want to be bothered with new business. Since I have very large dogs and this place is close to me, I went ahead and jumped through their hoops.. even uploaded a picture of my dog for their records as part of their new patient form request. 4 days later, no one has called me to book an appointment. I went on their website tonight to fill out yet another form to request an appointment. I literally have to do less to be seen by a human physician. What is so special about this place other than being close and wanting to spend my money at local businesses? They obviously don’t want new patients. I’ll hold my breath for them to call me and take my $65 to book an appointment. Fingers crossed.. totally hope they decide to accept my $65 to see my dog!!

We boarded our two German Shepherds for one night while visiting from out of town. The staff were helpful and pleasant. They sent picture and videos of them playing together. My one German Shepherd gets stressed easily and gets diarrhea which happened. The vets gave me medicine for him and calming medicine for our trip. They were so kind in caring for them. Also called to check on them then next day. I would use them again if we ever back in that area.

Nice staff, clean facility but more expensive than the other places I've been too. However, they were able to work me in same day.

Well their website says they do emergency vet care . States that their hours for urgent care are extended. But my son and husband just got turned away with a barely breathing dog whom has been lethargic for two days, saying they don’t do urgent care there. So not sure where the breakdown is but do t go there if it’s an emergency.

We love Dr. Flanagan and all the folks at Village Vets! They take great care of our babies and give us all the info we need to make the best decisions.

The vet did not outline pricing before treating my pet. I was met with a high bill at the end of my pet's treatment with no accurate estimate of how much I was expected to pay before treatment was administered. I was also told they would do a specific few treatments, then saw on the bill far more treatments than were ever detailed to me throughout my pet's visit.

Our 11 year old dog had an emergency one weekend. I called Saturday morning and they saw him that afternoon. We were not customers at this vet and the staff and doctors were very courteous and caring as they told us the bad news. He had cancer all through his lungs and probably in many of his organs. After a few days, we brought him back in to see the doctor and it was decided that it was time to end his suffering and put him to sleep. The staff were so caring and courteous throughout the whole process. They even sent a sympathy card. I highly recommend this practice!

I took two rescued kitties I’m fostering to the vet today (we saw Dr. Taylor) & I couldn’t be more pleased. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable... If the kittens weren’t being adopted, this is where I would bring them. They were wonderful!

I can’t express how much we love The Village Vets. We have been seeing them for years and always have a great experience. Earlier this year we unfortunately lost one of our sweet pups to cancer, and Dr. Flanagan and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful and supportive during the process. I was calling almost daily towards the end of his life with questions and anxieties and they were there for us every time. When it was finally time to say goodbye, they came to our home and made sure he was as peaceful and comfortable as possible. I really don’t know what we would have done without them. We will continue to use The Village Vets for years to come.

Dr. McColgan has been our vet for years. Recently, we had to take one of our dogs in and she wasn't available. Dr. Hurst handled the situation with grace and we immediately fell in love with her as well. Village Vets has always taken great care of our pets, and US. They understand that care is not only about the pets, but also about the owners in especially difficult situations which we faced recently while having to say goodbye to our beloved dog who was diagnosed with cancer. Not only are their vets amazing, but their office and techs are extremely compassionate too. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

We have a beloved rescue who clearly had a terrible past, then was in a shelter for 9+months; he understandably struggles with severe anxiety and PTSD. We took him to a different vet to get medication support; the experience was horrifying as that vet summarized our dog as dangerous, unstable, unable to have any vet visits without total sedation. Then we go to the fabulous Dr. McColgan at VV. She evaluated our concerns and videos of his behavior via email, immediately recognized the medication dose was incorrect. She changed his med regimen and we followed up in person a few weeks later. Dr. McColgan and all the techs really listened (that any restraining positions or actions immediately panic him). and accommodated my dog's needs. We met in an outside yard, he was the most relaxed I've seen him in a long time. He was giving her kisses and walking around. I held a plate smeared with peanut butter- he was licking his way to happiness, Dr. McColgan examined him, took labs, gave him a vaccine and my dog never even flinched. They were all so loving towards him and compassionate to his specific needs. He was so calm, he trotted right inside when they took his weight. Best visit we've ever had and SOOOO relieving. We rescued him to give him a life of love, free of trauma, and this vet and her team supported that 110%

Called at 8am sharp Saturday about my fur baby and her ear issues. They were able to squeeze her in that same day. Everyone was friendly, polite and understanding. I felt at ease here. Would definitely recommend them.

I’ve seen several different vets here on various visits, and all of them have been fantastic, even during pandemic. (I have to say one of my favorite vets is Dr. Flanagan.) Their new location with the drive through lane is especially ideal for pandemic and poor weather. I always get a call back if I have to leave a voicemail. Appointments are usually very easy to get on short notice, though I try to avoid that, and sometimes they have a drop off appointments where I can drop off early and come back later in the day. Dr. Flanagan is always complimenting my cats, and they certainly do behave for her! She’s thorough in what’s being done and what’s being offered or suggested and why. And I always get a follow-up email with the visit details. The rest of staff is always phenomenal! Village Vets is definitely top-notch animal care!

Dr Roberts examined my cat and administered her shots. Covid restrictions kept me out of the clinic, of course, but Dr called me and discussed my cat. All is well with her and Dr was a pleasure to talk to. Recommended.
