Dr. Shepherd and his team have always been so professional and friendly. They are always willing to do whatever is best for your pets. They have been looking after our fur-kids for 15 years.

Dr. Shepard is very knowledgeable, calm and reassuring. He has a very good bedside manner.

Best vets I've ever had in 40+ years of having pets.

I recenntly moved to the area and had to travel for business and boarded my dog there. The first time, everything went well, the second time, when I brought my dog home, I noticed my dog's tail was not curling upward and when I touched the hump on her tail, she yelped. Her tail had gotten injured or broken!!! No one at the practice told me when I picked up my dog I do not like it when my dog gets injured and I am especially concerned when they fail to tell me and disclose the accident that injured her tail!

Everyone was so lovely! The doctor took his time asking questions and getting to know my fur baby. They took great care of her and helped me solve my concerns.

An acquaintance referred me to Dr. Shepard having had good experiences with his family pets. I live in Midtown but would definitely drive to North Roswell to go to this clinic for my dogs vet needs in the future. My dog was neutered by Dr. Shepard three days ago and has done extremely well. He doesn’t have to wear a cone and the stitches are dissolvable so a visit to remove them isn’t necessary. Dr. Shepard is an exceptional communicator and clearly cares for your pets. The staff also is knowledgeable and very responsive to questions. Wonderful doctors and staff!.

Absolutely fabulous. Dr. Shepherd and Dr. Laketa are very efficient and compassionate. They never push unnecessary treatments. I never have to wait too long once I'm at the office. The staff is also amazing. I couldn't recommend them more.

Dr. Shepard and everyone at NRVC are way more than 5 stars. We have been with them for over 30 years and they are not only our pet's doctors they are family.

Might not be as fancy as some other clinics, but for a reason. Dr. Shepherd might not be a best businessman, but he is a true Veterinarian, wIth capital V! He deeply cares about his patients and their parents. His explanations are patient and thorough. He shares the options you would have without pushing for one. I know that at least one of the shelters uses him as primary vet and that means something. Highly recommend!

After my dog was treated for an ear infection by another vet; $500+ later and two weeks into the treatment and not getting better, Dr. Shepard was recommended to me by a close friend. Dr. Shepard took the time to meet my dog and genuinely listen as I explained her situation. He asked about her so he had a good understanding of her background. To me that is ultimate "bedside manner"! Not only did he listen intently, he explained how the bacteria works, best course of action and what to do regarding a follow up. Within 2 days of being on the right medication my dog's ear infection was clearing up. I would rate Dr. Shepard and his team 10+ stars if google allowed! I highly recommend. These days it seems far and few between people acting with compassion first vs. pocket.

Very kind and experienced staff. I have been bringing my pets here for many years. I moved a few years ago, but we still make the trip to see Dr. Sheperd and Jane because my pets get great care and I get a good understanding of their health.

We have great experience here with our basset hound’s ear canal surgery(TECA). We would particularly call out nurse Jane - she is exceptionally knowledgeable snd caring.

Couldn't ask for a better located or better staffed vet clinic. Right off of Alpharetta Hwy, parking can be limited despite a few reserved spots. Staff is super friendly and informative. The vets themselves are dedicated to your companion's well being without requiring a second mortgage.

Dr. Shepherd is amazing! We have trusted him with our pets for almost 20 yrs. He has always been more than just a vet for us and cares for all of his patience with true compassion.

Great team! They volunteered their services to a shelter & saved the life of our dog (heartworms) before our family adopted her. For years, we chose to drive a little further from home to bring her here for her follow up & regular checkups. We're fans!

Friendly staff, and the Vet is very good at explaining what is going on with your pet.

Great Care Dr. Sheppard takes wonderful care of our pup, and takes the time to explain our options. He is reasonably priced and does not push expensive testing, but will explain the benefits. We found him via the rescue agency to which he donates time. We have moved further away from his location, but will continue going to him.

Dr. Shepherd is amazing. He’s super knowledgeable and his staff is top notch!

Brought our dog here in an emergency when he had to be put down. Staff was very nice and accommodating of our emergency situation. Talked us through all the options (though we really only had one). Very sympathetic and even sent us a very nice condolence card a week later.

My family has used this vet for over twenty years now. Dr. Shepherd and his staff are the best.
