Unfortunately this place is about the money not about taking care of our fur babies they charge an extra 100.00 to work in your dog during regular business hours because you don't have an appointment for your very sick dog who took sick over the weekend how do you schedule an appointment for your dog when you didn't even know they were gonna be sick then they misdiagnose your fur baby then you follow back up with the vet that you really love and your baby has to be put asleep then the next day you get a phone call that your already scheduled appointment is being canceled because the other vet contacted to get records on your dog so they could see what has already been done so they tell me that makes my account inactive with them

Very friendly staff! Didn’t have to wait very long! They explained everything in detail and took good care of my puppy!

I have been a patient for many years I have always. Even pleased. My babies have always been looked after amazingly. I have to say that I love Dr. Washington she has been so much help with my little man. She talked to me to find out about him and she has really showed she cares about our babies. The staff is awesome they are so helpful and goes over and beyond to help with my babies as well. We always feel loved from them all just like family. Thank you Heart of Georgia for all you do!!!!❤

Great vet. They do a great job of letting you know the specifics of taking care of your pet. They also are affordable and have fantastic customer service.

I really appreciate Sara, the technician, taking such good care of both of my dogs. I suggested they be kenneled together and she made it happen, plus sent me a photo to show me my fur babies were ok. This was very reassuring for me! I am also thankful for the treatment of both dogs allergies. I really feel like having injections every 8 weeks is going to be such relief for them both!

This place is great. My wife and I actually drive 2 hours each way from Atlanta to go to this vet. We are comfortable with this place due to it being cost effective and quality service. ♡

The staff is Wonderful. They treat you like a person, instead of just reading your name off a clipboard, not giving you a "second glance". These people actually really care about all the animals that we bring there, because they know that each one of them are precious to each one of us. Even beyond that, they are there for us, when they know that nothing else can be done for our little fur babies. They will sit there and cry with you. These group of people that make up "Heart of Georgia," are a very special and loving group. I would not ever take my little fur babies anywhere else! And yes these people deserve every bit of appreciation and acknowledgement I am sharing with those of you that have never been.

They safe my puppy life at 7 weeks she caught parvovirus I thought I was going to lose her but the staff an the doctor explain everything to me on what to do and as a team that they r she survive I generally thank them.

They always have a answer or a medical advice that works wonders.

Wonderful vet. I've been taking my dog there for about a year. She has high blood pressure. They have worked hard to get it under control. I recommend them to everyone. Reasonable prices.

Had a appointment for 5 pm texted me to verify. Got there today at 445 told me since my appointment was at 230 they wouldn't see my dog wanted me to reschedule or wait to be fitted in after I had an appointment and just worked 12 hours and have to return back to work again tonight. They gave gotten bad since they have been taken over going to another vet that isn't like a amusement park ride and your just a number .

Staff was friendly and caring. Needs were met. Wait time was acceptable. All in all a good visit. Will return and would recommend to others.

The staff is incredible and so helpful. I was so appreciative of their help with my dog. I was desperate to get her annual shots and had no idea it was going to be so difficult to be seen in the area as a new client. They helped me and Chica and I cannot say thank you enough!

Since new ownership has taken place at the beginning of 2021. Looks and feels like things have changed for the best. Better attitude’s and smiles. I took my dog to a different vet before bringing him to Heart Of Georgia. Before I took him to the other vet, I explained to them he is fearful and he has anxiety, and that they would have to have him sedated before being able to touch him. They ignored what I said, and instead, used to catch pole oh my dog. In doing so, my dog panicked and bit at the catchpole, and broke his teeth. He was originally there due to some intestinal issue. The next day, I brought him to Heart Of Georgia. They asked me to leave my dog in the car until they could come out to see us. They brought a muzzle for me to put on him, and while I held his head still, they did a fecal sample so they could test him for Parvo. After the test came back negative, they brought a muzzle back out to me for me to put on him, and they had me walk with them inside and to the scale so we could get him weighed. Then, they took him to the back, and they told me what time to come back and pick him up. They talk softly to him and loved on him, and kept him calm while the vet was able to sedate him. They were able to examine him and determine what the problem was, and was also able to examine his mouth to see what kind of damage the catchpole caused. Came back to pick him up at the designated time, they told me that they didn’t have any problems with him miss behaving, they gave me medications to make him feel better, and sent us home. We’re going to go back for the dental work after the medications are gone, and after I raise the money for the dental work to be done. They were very professional and very kind, and they took great care of my dog. He didn’t even act nervous or scared when they were bringing him out, so it seemed to me that his experience was great as well, and I am very thankful for that.

This place is a great help for the community. They offer affordable spay/neuter services as well as all around vet care. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!

Cannot talk to a doctor about my pets post surgery pathology. I have to talk to a technician. I am pay rates for a vet but can only get looked down on one if I make an appointment. This practice needs a lot of work.

KEEP YOUR PITBULLS AWAY. They claim they can handle them but are poorly prepared. My dog left traumatized, with no vaccines, and they reported my dog to the county for nibbling a tech. Literally she was not hurt at all- this happened while he was on a tiny leash tied to a tiny table. Meanwhile- they promised us that he was in a kennel. Afterwards, they admitted that they never put him in the kennel.

Always a great experience and I feel like the staff really cares about the animals

Now that Campbell is gone. This place isn’t good. You never meet who is treating your dog. My dog had a broke leg they did stabilize his leg and didn’t give him pain meds.
