Great organization. Have adopted 2 puppers from there. And the volunteers are so friendly.

I’ve been volunteering with ARF for a couple of years now and have grown close to the President of the rescue. She and the rest of the volunteers/staff truly care about the animals and work really hard every day (while also working full time jobs) to give these animals the best possible chance! All of the animals are well taken care of while at the facility and immediately seen by a vet if anything is wrong. Being a small rescue in a small town, a lot of the animals spend 6 months to a year waiting for a home. Some of the animals wait even longer! But ARF takes care of those “less adoptable” animals until great homes are found.

This is my favorite place! They have the nicest staff in the world, who genuinely care for these animals, and do everything they can to make sure these animals end up in safe and happy homes!

Brought a dog home and it wouldn't eat. Next morning she threw up the feet off of a toy, when I took her outside to use the bathroom she had diarrhea with pieces of a toy in her stool. They told us That she love toys, I would have thought they would take notice and not leave her alone with one long enough to eat one. I just had my friend leave a dog with them today that he rescued from a family member of his. When he was filling out paperwork we had to help him a bit due to him having some mental disability. Later, the person who was helping us contacted my mother to say how he shouldn't have pets. There was a reason he gave the animal up which was the responsible thing to do in this case. I am never going to go back or donate to them again personally if my family will be contacted because I helped a friend do the right thing. Very unprofessional and unethical.

Folks caring for somethings other than their Human selves... Without pay... Amazing. Still some good souls out there.. There might be hope for human kind after all.

They are doing a great job taking care of cats and dogs. Come on down and walk a dog or pet a cat, same day little paperwork to fill out
