I picked my dogs up after the long Thanksgiving holiday and they are in an AWFUL state. First off, my dogs have an as-needed anxiety medication and none was given to them during their stay (same number of pills came home as were sent with them). Their mouths are RAW from chewing on the kennel and their paw pads are nearly rubbed off in places. So clearly, their medication was needed, but not provided. Second, one of my dogs was COVERED in dry diarrhea. On her legs, belly and even her poor face. I will take responsibility for the fact that we forgot to leave their food when we dropped them off, so our dogs were on a house diet. Nonetheless, no baby should be sent home in that state. I understand that baths and grooming cost extra, both of which I would have paid for if I had been alerted of their condition before I arrive. At the very least, they should have been hosed off before being handed over to me and sent home. We paid over $500 for their stay and this level of neglect (I'm not even going to call it care) is unacceptable. When we called them to complain about the dogs, we were told it was our fault they had diarrhea and that they checked their paws on the way out the door. We were told the dog must have gotten diarrhea in the car. However, the poo was DRY and matted into her fur!! Again, I take responsibility for the food situation, but for $500+, I certainly expect more attention to detail and care for my pups. Ultimately, we were offered a $120 credit on our account and a free bath next time, but we will NOT be patronizing this "pet hotel" ever again. I am fully disappointed and warn everyone else to stay far, far away!

Oliver has always tolerated boarding with you. I use the verb tolerated because obviously he would much rather be with us. But if that is not possible, Best Friends is our best friend. You guys do activities with Oliver that are not even available with other boarders even with an upcharge. Your activities are part of the plan. We WILL NOT use anyone else.

I am not sure who is running the show currently but whoever is, is running Best Friends straight down to the ground. My business has definitely been lost.

I had an appointment for the rooming at 8am. We show up at 7:50 to make sure we can fill out paperwork and talk with groomer. I sat in parking lot until 8:20 and NOONE SHOWED VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Not giving my name or my babies names. Using a friends account so that my dog doesn't get retaliated against. VERY upset with the way things are going with all the new management. Spoke to the new manager about some issues I have been noticing (my babies being filthy when I pick them up, not seeing them on camera until almost noon), and she was rude just handed me excuses about corporate giving her a hard time. Customers don't need to hear excuses. They want to see that their babies are being treated right, and I don't think that is happening anymore. Maybe this type of business just isn't for her. Maybe she can run a nail salon. PLEASE get someone else in there and get the place back to how it was before she took over.

A few weeks before our vacation we booked our dog to stay at Best Friends. When we went to drop the dog off for his reservation, Best Friends said they had no room. They did not honor our reservation and said they were full. No advanced notice or explanation was given as to why the reservation could not be honored. Fortunately another dog boarding business was able to take our dog at the last minute.

Best Friends has a friendly and dog-loving staff that took such great care of our pup. We have tried other pet care centers nearby and they don’t compare to Best Friends at all. I only wish we had found them and tried them sooner. My family loved being able to watch our pup play with other pups on the Best Friends camera feed while we were away. They also offer special accommodations (like an ice cream treat per day) if you so choose. We had such a great experience and such a happy pup that we are confident that we have now found our go-to “home away from home” for our pup while we go out of town. ????????

We've used this pet hotel for our dog and two cats several times now, and we can tell they care about the animals. When we arrived to pick up our pets, one of the employees excitedly showed me a cute picture of our dog and shared it with me via Air Play. Another time, an employee said the dog seemed nervous and that she had put a blanket on her and laid with her for about 20 minutes. She also said she held our cat until she started purring (not as much luck with our other cat, but he's kind of a butthead). I've never had issues getting in touch with them, but if there are ever wait times or issues calling I promise it's not from a lack of care. Highly recommend this place for your pets.

Thank you for taking such good care of our cat, it made us feel so good to know he was truly loved and spoiled while we were gone.

Boarded my two Norwich terriers for a week while on vacation. The team at Best Friends, Marietta took good care of them and they were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I look forward to boarding with them in future. Thanks!!

Initially, I wasn't going to post a review but I feel I owe it to others like me looking for good quality care for their pets. We used the facility the 4th of July weekend. Things were pretty hectic at the front desk when we arrived. I figured this was due to the holiday weekend and lots of people leaving town and boarding their pets. We were informed that our dog would have luxury accommodations, but the room was not yet ready. We were shown a room that she would be moved to as soon as it was cleaned. Our dog was placed in the playroom temporarily until she could be moved. We were provided camera access and checked that it was working prior to leaving. We left feeding instructions and said our good byes. Our dog was hesitant to go with the staffer and I was assured she would be fine. We could check on her later via video chat. We headed out of town feeling comfortable that our dog was in good hands. WRONG! We didn’t see our dog on video chat until Monday! We weren't able to reach anyone on Sunday. When we finally did speak to someone, they informed us that our dog was not in the room we paid for and were told she would be in. No one bothered to call to tell us any of this! Our dog was eventually moved to a luxury room Monday afternoon, but our biggest question is where was she all this time? In the general play area where she was temporarily placed until her room was ready? We were told they were at capacity which makes us really worry that our dog was not being properly cared for all this time. We arrived back in town on Wednesday and picked up our dog. We took her outside where she immediately emptied her stomach contents and it was evident that she was not given the food we provided. She has been vomiting and has diarrhea since we picked her up. Normally, our dog is very energetic but since we brought her home, she is very timid and tucks her tail a lot as if she's been thru some traumatic experience. Also, the staff could not find the toys that we left for our dog. What the hell happened to our dog?!? We will never know. The owner did apologize for the lack of communication and tried to make it right, but how do you right this wrong when it involves the improper care of a family member. We used this facility 6 months ago and the experience was completely opposite. We were extremely pleased then, which is why we chose this facility again. I understand staffing shortages and holiday weekends, but they should adjust occupancy accordingly during these times. What happened to our baby is very unfortunate. I hope they learn from this experience and make the necessary adjustments.

Since 2005, I have trusted BF with my dogs & even my rabbit for boarding. Now I have a pup who does not like grooming, but they are working with him patiently to make it a good experience. I love Best Friends!

The team at Best Friends Pet Hotel is great. I love that they are genuinely excited to see our dog when she races in. Pancake's tail wags so hard when she enters the building and she has a blast every time she goes. They make sure she plays hard and comes home exhausted.

I was having my floors redone and needed a place that would take care of my four animals. I also needed grooming and my regular vet doesn't groom. This location does it all!!!! This place is clean, spacious, and clearly the people love what they do because, I was sent photos of every baby having fun with the staff -which was unexpected!!! I have never had my 3 dogs and 1 cat come back and seem to "miss" where they were....so although, my feelings are only slightly hurt at their disinterested return, I will be returning again and again!!!!! The groomer is exceptional- every nail on every one of these guys is nicely rounded, and I am not seeing the typical (after a bath ) hair shed around my house. My white husky (Anderson Cooper) has never been THIS white, he normally has tinges of yellow (God bless Ga red clay). I'm so impressed with this location. Thank you guys! ~Tug (aka Bubba), Frank, A.Cooper, and Binx

We’ve been using this place for years and they keep getting better. Love the new renovations. You’ll pay a little more, but it’s well worth it.

First time leaving my dog in a kennel in 10 yrs, I was nervous about it but the staff assured me she’d be taken care of. We got the luxury suite and I was able to watch her on the camera through out my trip which made me feel great! I recommend them!

I bring my dog for boarding and grooming. I've never had an issue. They are always friendly. My dog is very timid around other animals, I love that they offer individual stay and play.
