Went in because my kitty sprained her paw next day she was dead they told she was healthy & okay

Great staff, very friendly and very helpful.

I originally went to the VCA to get my new kitten a booster shot. I also had some other concerns regarding Neko’s ears and nose because I believed she had ear mites. The VCA told me that Neko was fine and to keep using the at home mites treatment to clean her ears and skinguard for her nose. Well a week later my spouse and I contracted ringworm. I tried to get into contact with the VCA but they would not return my calls. So I decided to schedule an appointment with Animal medical care and they were able to see me same day. Turns out that NeKo does not have ear mites but a bacteria yeast infectious and were able to give me medication for that and the ringworm. The staff is so knowledgeable and aim to see your pet living their best life. I honestly will continue to use them and I am so grateful they were able to help my fur baby.

Dr. Heard and the staff at AMCC are the best! I found Dr. Heard after I got my first dog five years ago and I am so happy I did! I have three dogs now and they all receive the highest level of care whenever I have to bring them to the office. I have one with epilepsy, another with joint issues, and the youngest likes to eat anything and everything, so we are regulars at AMCC. I never feel rushed and they happily answer all of my questions, and they are very patient with my dogs too. I know Dr. Heard and his staff truly care about the health of my dogs. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Heard and would highly recommend AMCC!

The nicest staff I have ever worked with! They are all so kind and friendly. I called last minute as a new patient because of my sick dog and they were able to fit me in so he could get the care he needed. Dr. Dale is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I am so grateful. This will be my primary vet care center from here on out!

Dr. Heard is definitely one of the most kind and caring vets we have known. When my kids were little he would show them slides under the microscope. We never felt rushed, and he took his time to explain things. He also has given high school students interested in this field opportunities to work in his practice. Just a great example of a neighborhood vet who truly cares about his patients, their owners and the community.

Dr. Heard and staff went above and beyond to help care for our elderly dog. Everyone we encountered was amazing, caring and kind. I can't begin to say how highly I would recommend this office for all of your animal needs!

I took my Coco here 11 months ago on September 3rd 2018 following a botched diagnosis from my former primary care vet and subsequent 12 vet visits between 2 emergency vets and the former primary care vet after having been handed down a prognosis of “she won’t make it past the weekend” by blue pearl, out of desperation & upon the recommendation of a family member. Coco would make it another 9 months before passing on April 14th, 2019. We were given another 9 months, all thanks to dr heard. No words can truly do justice for what he gave to us. Everyone else said put her down, but he showed me data and helped us fight. He sent flowers and a heartfelt card upon her passing. Dr. Heard is an amazing person and a phenomenal veterinarian. There is nobody better to have caring for your pets. Thank you Dr. Heard..for everything. Thank you...

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I recently moved to the area and after rescuing two kittens who were feral at first, I was nervous about finding a good place to take them close to home. The previous vet I took them to was very stressful and traumatizing visit for the kittens (not the vets fault the kittens were just terrified). But the staff here were so friendly and personable and really made my kittens feel comfortable and relaxed, and they did the same for me! They really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and walk me through everything they were doing during the exam. They even went out of their way to print me helpful information. This place has 5 stars for a reason. I HIGHLY recommend them and I'm so thankful I found them!!!

Dr. Heard an ALL of his staff are the best. Our dog recently experienced a health emergency and these folks have bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule and to help our dog. One of the things I love about Dr. Heard is that he will research the problem rather than just firing off a “cookie-cutter” answer that might not perfectly fit every animal’s case. He listens and uses all resources available. You won’t find a more caring group of people to help your pet in wellness and sickness.

Dr. Heard and his staff are top notch and I am thrilled to learn they recently were voted the best veterinary practice in East Cobb. Dr. Heard is always extremely thorough with us when bringing our dog for his annual exam and other services. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great vet that is also reasonably priced.

The staff here is awesome. Everyone is kind and professional. I found it super cute that the veterinarian kissed my pit bull puppy on the forehead. I highly recommend them.

When I moved to East Cobb, my pet sitter recommended Animal Medical Care Center for the care of my cats. I have never been so pleased to work with a pet care office. The entire staff is welcoming and caring. Dr. Heard is phenomenal. He explains things well, and often shows me an entry from a text book. I appreciate his common-sense approach. I now have a senior cat who can be grouchy, and Dr. Heard and his staff handle her with care. With my previous older cat, Dr. Heard helped me to make decisions that were in the best interest of my cat and his quality of life. I enjoy going to the office (although my cat does not share my enthusiasm), and I enjoy all the people who work there.
