I have a four year old American Staffordshire Terrier named Brody. He is the sweetest and most playful boy but gets very easily overexcited. His daycare recommended Good Dog! Coaching following an incident where his overexcitement had gotten him in trouble. I did some research and made the call and ever since I first spoke to Terie, I knew this would be a great decision. I opted for the 4-Week Board and Train program. It fast tracked my dog's training and to be honest the results are insane! Brody is a lot calmer now. He has learned to be a chill observer of his surroundings as opposed to a reactive overstimulated one. He listens now and is able to hold commands. He doesn't jump on people anymore. He doesn't pull on the leash or chase squirrels on walks. Our daily walks are absolutely PERFECT now. The tools and information that I have received to continue his training and daily improvement have helped me so much. I finally feel fully in control of my dog and I feel like we have a better connection with each other now. Whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks was definitely wrong! :)

Terie does a remarkable job at training dogs. We have a 6 month old puppy and she definitely needed some training. Terie came to our house and within minutes we saw a wonderful change in our puppy. It takes work for the puppy parents and the puppy. Terie trained us as well!!! We are so glad that we found Terie. We now have a puppy who is much more enjoyable to be around. We can take her places and know that she will behave. We certainly recommend Terie without reservation!!!! Thank you Terie!!!

I would highly recommend Good Dog training. Terri was our dog trainer and she did an amazing job. Her methods truly worked and our dog is a much happier and less anxious dog as a result. She gave us the tools, knowledge, and confidence we needed to continue his training independently once her session was complete. Outstanding! Thanks Terri!

Terie and her team did an amazing job with our greyhound mix, Gideon! He was a pretty good dog going into the training but he had a few big things that needed to be corrected. He has come out of her training thriving and we understand more about him and why he did certain things and how they were able to be corrected. We would definitely recommend Good Dog! Coaching!

Good Dog, Coaching and Pet Care is excellent! I loved the personal, one on one experience that Terie provides through her private in-home dog training. This allowed us to focus on specific training issues that our dog needs (and that we need). It also provided us examples of training exercises that we can do in our home, yard or neighborhood. Terie is an excellent dog trainer and dog "parent" trainer. She is knowledgeable, relatable, listens to your concerns and provides solutions. It comes automatic and natural to her. We highly recommend Terie and Good Dog!

We needed a tune-up for our dog (and us) training that we had done a few years back. Terie was wonderful--she listened to what we wanted and in a few lessons our dog had made the changes we wanted. I loved that Terie comes to your home, and you have a one on one chance to learn in your environment, rather than a store. Highest recommendation, would give 5++++

Terie was a great trainer and she was a life saver for our family. We have a very active dog and she was running our house! Terie helped us set boundaries for her and now she has “more controlled freedom” and we can enjoy her more with our family. I would HIGHLY recommend her to others.

The Good Dog folks helped us be good dog parents. Terie helped us by instructing our Zoey and her mom and dad on the best ways for OUR DOG to learn how to behave properly and respond to our commands appropriately.
