Russell Ridge is an excellent place to take your pets. The staff is friendly and very professional. The facility is very clean and organized. We recently had to put down our beloved Bella and they helped to make this very difficult decision as easy as humanly possible. Dr Connor was incredibly compassionate and professional offering her expert advise and helped us make the best decision. She even followed up with a kind note in the mail. It’s these kinds of small but meaningful things that set apart Russell Ridge from the rest. And proves they love the animals they treat. Thanks again for all the years of exceptional care that Bella received. Keep up the great work. We will be sure to share our experience with friends and family.

Emergency services always prompt and caring an overall great place

The staff at Russell Ridge Animal Hospital are the best! They have taken care of our pets for close to 20 years. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian, grooming or boarding! Special shout out to Kim, best groomer ever!

I love the vets here! I always feel like my babies get the best care! They always follow up after every appointment to check on your pet and ensure everything is ok. I have never had an issue getting an appointment.

I told them the health concerns I had about my cat. Dr Zoeti rolled her eyes when I denied extra recommended services that werent required and rolled them again when I asked about pricing for services because I know how doctors, for humans and cats, can overcharge. She got snappy with me when I asked for a breakdown on what was done stating what they charge is for basic procedures. Why charge for 3 DIFFERENT URINALYSIS when she confirmed two of them confirm the same things… I would never come here again. I want my cat to be properly cared for AND I dont want to be hassled out of money. Please just go and find a vet that cares about what they do that has isnt rude.

Terrible place to bring your pets. Brought 2 of my frenchies here. One for shots and an exam and one for an exam. They gave me the run around and tried to upsell me on things not needed. Extremely overpriced. Besides the fact that this place is a complete rip off, front end staff are very rude. My experience with the vet, she tried to upsell a KNEE SURGERY on my dog telling me it’s dislocated when he shows no signs of discomfort or pain. She touches his knees once and said she could feel it, when I asked to feel it myself she states you can’t feel it. I’m just curious on how she would know by touch without even giving him an x-ray. Attached photos show my dog with a severe allergic reaction to vaccines he received here. Hives broke out everywhere and he was unable to breathe properly. Took my dog to emergency vet and they said the shot they gave him he reacted to worst to are more for outdoor, bigger dogs. They also told me they should’ve gave me a warning and aftercare instructions just in case something like this happened. They will never be seeing my dogs ever again.

They are overpriced and have had my dogs go to the ER multiple times after there care would never recommend them.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!! I brought my German Shepherd here when he had a series of skin rashes and hot spots. First, they had me waiting 30 minutes passed my appt time when I got there early. I informed them that I had been gradually changing his brand of food and that I thought maybe it could be a reaction to the food. They were condescending and rolled there eyes at me and told me not to make assumptions when I don’t know anything. They said I should leave the job to professionals. HELLO??? I CAME TO THE VET!!! They barely examined him and sent me off with antibiotics for his rashes. I spent 2 hours there for only 5 minutes with the actual vet. The bill came out to be $280 and they did absolutely NOTHING. If anything, his skin was more inflamed and I had to take him to a 24hr ER in the middle of the night. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I wouldn't trust the care of my fur baby to anyone but Russell Ridge. They have been caring for my sweet boy since he was born. The staff is wonderful, caring, even for the most minor treatments they treat your pet very special. I have and will continue to recommend them for your pet care.

Careless veterinarian failed to warn me of possible reactions to a handful of vaccines administered to my Frenchie. My dog suffered from a severe allergic reaction to a Lepto shot- a shot he didn’t even need!!- because this place is very insistent on upselling you and taking your money instead of taking actual care of your animals! A couple minutes into his physical exam, the vet told me that he needed knee surgery. But when I asked to feel his knee, she stated, “I’m not sure if you would feel it.” My dog broke out in severe hives, was unable to breathe, and vomited multiple times hours after his vaccinations. I took him to an urgent care vet specialist and was told that he did not need a Lepto shot- the shot that caused all of this.

DO NOT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE! They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They misdiagnosed my dog which caused him to get even more sick and it wasn’t until another vet and many medical bills later that my dog finally recovered. Do yourself a favor and do not bring your dog here.

We. Have been pat patients for years. My puppy passed away on Monday September 27th at noon. He laid down and never woke back up. I sure hope that is the way that I go. If I get another puppy I will never ever ever use anyone except these people they have been so kind and so nice to us so attentive to my puppies needs over the years. Frankie was 14 and I guess it was just his time. I am truly truly heartbroken.. thank you so much for your kindness.

I was late to drop off my dog for boarding because of an accident on 985. I had to go out of town to attend my Grandfather's funeral. I pulled into the parking lot just as Amber was getting ready to leave for the day. She parked her car, got out, went back in and spent 15 minutes to get my dog checked in for boarding. Amber went above and beyond and I was so grateful for her!

DO NOT GO HERE! They are a danger to animals!! I placed my trust in them to take care of my cat and they made things worse! Now my beautiful kitty is gone. I wish I could give them lower than one star! Horrible.

Had to take my puppy to the vet last minute and they were able to get me in. Thankful. The doctors where understanding and very positive. Definitely will be coming back with my puppy.

My pets have been patients here for years and they have kindly and compassionately cared for each of them. I never have to wait more than a few minutes once I arrive with my pet, and they are always very good to call and follow-up with results or just to make sure my pet is doing well after a visit.

I took my dog there to have a recheck after a dog bite. I didn’t know any of the doctors so I found one that had an opening when I needed it. She was so nice..very honest, answered all my questions and I was impressed. So, I guess we will begin going there once my 30 year vet retires. I would recommend this practice.

Highly, highly recommend Russell Ridge Animal Hospital. The staff are very kind and quick to help in an urgent situation. The front-desk and vet tech (Jen) were amazing! I was allowed to go in the clinic and stay with my cat during the exam. Dr. Hines was very knowledgeable and provided excellent. She explained all treatment options to me. They followed up the next day to check on my cat’s recovery. Absolutely wonderful clinic with skilled, patient and kind staff.

Doctor Miller is the worst doctor and treated my dog very unprofessionally do not come here he will only make your dog worse.

Dr. Miller is a unqualified and terrible doctor. We paid 5,000 dollars for a surgery when my dog broke his leg. We were assured that any follow up surgery would be included in the 5,000 dollar tab. Dr. Miller messed up the first surgery and the second. After this he bluntly told me over the phone that he will not do the follow up surgery which was stated to us with our 5,000 dollar payment because “ that’s the way the world works”. He bluntly screwed me over. After messing up the surgery and leaving us stranded I also came to realize Dr. Miller is NOT even board certified!!!!! He is extremely unprofessional, unqualified, and to be honest a SCAM. He will try to drain every penny out of your pocket instead of taking genuine care of your dog because as he stated “ that’s the way the world works”. We are having to pay thousands more somewhere else to correct my dogs leg that was messed up by Dr. Miller. Please save your dog and yourself and refrain from going here. I have been to many vets in the past and have had nothing but positive experiences. This is the only one that has screwed me over. More so of the money my dog has had to go through multiple surgeries and have his leg butchered. Please please please STAY AWAY!!!

I went into the vet and was not greeted. Dog asked to jump onto un-sanitized scale for weighing, and finally was upcharge due to meds my pet was on. How was this place voted Best of Anything? Customer service is just that, be friendly to all people, not just those that look like you!

I highly recommand! Great customer service and they were so helpful. They took good care of my vicious cat! Now my cat is all happy and healthy!

This is the best vet you can take your pet. They really care for them. The staff is really kind and the doctors always explain everything that is happening to your pet with details.
