We are delighted with our experience with Southpaw. We loved picking up the phone and seeing our dog in the yard playing with his new friends. Professional staff, clean facility helped us feel very comfortable leaving our dog.

The staff is very nice and puts you at ease about leaving your fur babies. Place very clean.. My dog was happy and well taken care of. Staff very attentive. I actually passed by the other day and saw the staff outside playing with the dogs, not just sitting around while they were outside.. great sign they love their jobs!!

The dog trainer has a great puppy kindergarten. The area where we learn is large, fenced in, and has special “doggie grass”. My 4 month Aussiedoodle loves going (and so do I)

My husand and I were visiting from TX and we needed a place to board our dog, Bluffton for 1 night. Southpaw Pet Resort did listen to everything that we told him about our dog since is a rescue. In just one night our dog made friends with anothr dog and had so much fun. The staff gave us a positive report along with sending us pictures. We were so happy with their services. We will definitely be using them again in the near future. Thank you for everything! Bluffton had a great time at Southpaw Pet Resort.

We haven't boarded our dogs here yet, but we stopped by to check it out. They have a stop by anytime policy which you don't find in many places. It proves that they have nothing to hide and that they are proud of the work they are doing. We are very particular as to where we board our dogs, we have a few places across the country that we have used and we needed a place for a few days while we are here in HHI. We will update this review after the stay, but so far they seem to be great.

My family and I were on vacation on a Hilton Head resort with our two dogs and needed a last minute doggy day care for the day and luckily we found found this place! The staff was really friendly and showed their professionalism with dog care. We were fortunate to have found them and will definitely use them again!!

Had my golden lab here while I went on a weekend getaway with my hubby and was delighted with the care they gave our dog. She was happy and isn’t even want to leave. Will definitely be using them again

South Paw has taken care of my dog twice for 6 days each visit. They took excellent care of her and are extremely detail oriented and attentive. They accommodated all of my requests and were very responsive. They even texted pictures of her throughout her stay. The facilities are clean and the dogs have plenty of space. I will continue to board her here whenever I stay in Hilton Head.

We always book overnight boarding at SouthPaw even though it's an hour away. Very satisfied with the care for our dogs.

I boarded my two dogs at Southpaw today and could not be happier with the facility. My dogs came home tried and happy. They were a little nervous and shaking when I dropped them off but both my older dog and younger very active border collie had a wonderful time. Yes, I was worried and a little concerned leaving my "babies" in this facility but my mind was immediately put to ease when I saw my dogs on the webcam. The staff is small, responsive and caring. Southpaw is calm, fun and very well run.

They have very nice dog suites with outdoor runs and 2 large, well appointed outdoor play areas.

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this establishment. We needed a safe place to keep our anxious dog while we were on vacation during the day, the awesome people at southpaw made sure to make our furbaby feel at home and comfortable when he was there. They helped work with our scheduele and allowed our dog to come even when they had almost a full house, they brought him up front to sit with them when he got scared during a thunderstorm, and they made sure to let us know exactly how our dogs day went. Plus there are amazing webcams where you can check on your dog and see how they are doing during the day. We loved being able to check on our dog and see him playing with the other dogs. This gave us piece of mind that he was in safe hands. We would take our little guy back here in a heart beat and love the care and love that every staff member has for each and every dog that stays here! We hope to bring him back someday!!! We highly recommend this place!!

Great place, they groom our dogs every other week. The resort itself also seems really nice.

Cleanest and best maintained pet resort I've seen so far.

Only have experience with obedience training for dog in evening w/dog. Very nice outdoor facility to work on and good lighting. Great parking. Overlooking kennels on outside, they were immaculate and spotless. Great sign. Grab a look.

We have boarded our dogs at boarding facilities all over the east coast and if I could give Southpaw 100 stars, I would. It is the standard by which all other boarding facilities should be measured. Attentive, caring, CLEAN, did I say, CLEAN? Our dog has left other facilities with eye irritations, feces stuck to his fur ... horrible. Every time we visit HHI, this is our beloved and now elderly dog's home--and we rest easy and enjoy our vacation knowing he's safe and loved. Update June 2018: We boarded our older dog again this vacation and I need to once again sing the praises of this awesome resort--Alex needs special recognition for taking our dog to a vet on HHI. Our dog got an infection near his anal glands and the vet discovered he also had an ear infection. I don't believe Southpaw caused ANY of these conditions because our dog has Cushing's and infections are common for him with this disease and old age. I'm just grateful Alex and the others at Southpaw cared enough, paid enough attention, and cared for our beloved dog in our absence. He is HAPPY and HEALTHIER now on antibiotics and feeling great--thank you Southpaw!

Foxy & Derby have never been boarded and they had a BLAST @southpawhhi I highly recommend SouthPaw Pet Resort! They sent pictures, we could see them on the webcams, and you could tell the staff not only love their jobs but also our pets! Thank you for taking care of our fur friends for a week!

Southpaw is the only place we have ever trusted to take care of our 5yr old Yorkie, he loves the indoor/outdoor rooms and we can visit him anytime, the staff takes special care of each and every pet as if they are their own. We vacation in HH every year and Tiger goes with us because of Southpaw.

They are absolutely the best! They have kept my two dogs for short and extended stays. During one of their extended visits I didnt pack enough food. A staff member actually went out and purchased their specific brand of food!

Southpaw is the only location I have ever trusted to board my dog. It appeals to me for the following reasons: Ridiculously lavish rooms with tv bed and indoor/ outdoor run Huge yard Small staff- nice for consistency of care ( you know who will be with you animal) Owners put up with my numerous phone calls to simply check on my dog. Dog specific instructions are posted to the front of their rooms so there is no confusion on what your dog requires
