The Cat Clinic Duluth, Georgia

We took our cat in for a second opinion on a treatment plan for her asthma a few weeks ago. We were excited to have found a "cat only" clinic and read all the good reviews but unfortunately our experience was not good at all. There was a long wait before we got to see the doctor, and doctor Camillya was not interested when we mentioned twice that we had videos of our cat coughing and how it changed recently. We did get an X-ray done and confirmed that she did have asthma, but even though we mentioned that the inhaler didn't seem to help at all, the doctor still said using the inhaler would help reduce the frequency of the attacks (which it didn't) and that was our only option. She needed the X- ray reviewed by a specialist before she could give us any information on dosage. We had to wait 30 minutes after the X-ray when we were told they were finished with the X-ray and just needed to give her an antibiotic shot, which usually takes a couple minutes at other places. The doctor did call the next day to let us know that the specialist confirmed our cat has asthma but no one followed up to check on her in the following days. I was told that the prescription would be ready the next day but 2 weeks later we still didn't have it. We ordered an inhaler from Canada and listed Tiger Tails as the vet clinic and they tried to contact Tiger Tails for 2 days and didn't hear back from the doctor. This was two days ago. I also messaged Tiger Tails from their app while I was at work yesterday and no one responded. It's been 3 weeks since our visit and our cat still doesn't have her inhaler prescription. Needless to say, we would not be recommending Tiger Tails. I've waited long enough before leaving a bad review but we're extremely disappointed in the experience.

I don’t write reviews, I know people say that, but I really don’t. I just sent this text to my friend, and I’m just gonna paste it here like a review: Okay, girl, listen to me. You need to bring your cat to this vet. I know the rescue pays for medical care for your fosters, but bring Maria to this vet. They were INCREDIBLE. They had cat trees and toys in the rooms. They had a SCRIBE, so the vet could give you their full attention. To top it off, they aren’t expensive at all for the quality of care. Where I used to go that my mom still goes was more pricey for similar car. Where I’ve been taking Clover since I found him was more than double what I’ve been quoted at this other vet. They have wellness plans, so you can pay a flat fee (broken up over 12 months) and get services without having to pay. BEST VET that I’ve ever been to. Also, the vet was just like obviously somebody who loves animals and her job. Clover is very low stress, but he was hesitant at the stethoscope, and she literally let him sit and sniff it for like 2 minutes until she has her permission to continue. 12000/10

Tiger Tails is the best vet I have ever used. They are extremely nice, and really care about the cats. The customer service is outstanding! I won’t take my cats anywhere else.

Tiger Tails Animal Hospital is by far the best vet group out there! At the cat clinic, Dr. Olga and Dr. Katie Beth go above and beyond for their patients and clients. I have taken my fur babies to the cat clinic for almost 5 years and their level of care is unmatched. I always receive personal calls from the vets checking in after visits, and they recently provided extremely respectful and sensitive end of life care for one of my cats. I cannot say enough good things about the team at Tiger Tails!

This is the absolute best vet facility I’ve ever been to. Taking my cats to the vet is no longer a pain. Now the difficult part is getting them to leave! The entire staff at The Cat Clinic are amazing. For once, I don’t feel like I’m just another client being rushed out. At The Cat Clinic, there is no “let’s get this over with” attitude. You can tell they love their job, as they are extremely enthusiastic, kind, and attentive. They provide plenty of toys for your kitties to play with, as well as ample space for them to walk around and explore. Not to mention this is a separate facility away from the dogs and other animals! I’m so happy I finally found a place where my cats are comfortable. I promise you, this is the best place you can take your cat. I can’t imagine going anywhere else now!

Very clean, attentive. First visit; seemed like we waited a long time for any Vet to appear, Vet Techs were in abundance. Dr. Olga did take very good care with our beloved kitty.

Best vets. I only wish they had a Cumming office. My cats are so relaxed since there are no other animal scents around.

Clean, great prices, and absolutely amazing staff. Dr. Candace and Dr. Zack, as well as the rest of the wonderful staff, have been taking great care of our three year old cat and working around the clock to ensure he’s getting the proper care and diagnosis. They understand how difficult of a time it can be to have a sick pet and not understand what’s causing it, and have been nothing but diligent, helpful, and empathetic in bringing our guy back to health. Extremely grateful for the Tiger Tails Cat Clinic!

We found two 2 week old kittens and one of them started to have breathing problems, we took her to The Cat Clinic for a second opinion and from the moment I called until the end of the visit, everyone was great! Morgan at the front was amazing, she scheduled my appointment for the kitten and after we hung up she called me back within minutes and told me that she spoke to the doctor about my condition and they asked me to bring her in immediately. Within 20 minutes we arrived and they immediately took us in and Dr. Jessica Nelson started caring for the her (I forgot the vet tech name, and I'm sorry for that but she was great as well!). They explained everything (prices too) to us and were very kind and really showed they are here to help. We unfortunately came to conclusion with the doctor's advice, recommendation, and x rays that it was best to have her put down. The doctor offered to give us a paw print of her so we can keep to remember her, which was so kind. We didn't expect to have spent so much on a kitten we found outside and we were not planning to keep but we did because everyone (human or animal) deserves a fighting chance. We already have two grown cats of our own and we will definitely be trusting them to care for our fur babies from here on forward. Thank you to everyone at The Cat Clinic for all your hard work! I was told this cat clinic was just separated from the animal hospital so the cats won't be bothered by the dog. I have been to several animal hospitals all over the world. This one is definitely the best one I've been to for my cats. Great atmosphere, helpful employees, and reasonable prices. Brought two cats with flee problem, staffs explain patiently about what we need to do and how to treat them. Definitely worth the five stars
