I really used to like paw spa until recently. I dropped my dog off last Saturday for boarding. The women at the counter, not so friendly. Like, super not friendly. There used to be a woman who worked there who was so sweet. These women were not. Left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I picked up my dog today and he had nicks all over his nose, quite large ones. I get that dogs play and can get rough but it would have been nice if someone had told me when I picked him up instead of me noticing it myself. I don’t think I’ll be back. This was the first time after a trip where I was actually worried about the treatment of my dog.

Our normal kennel was full so we decided to try this one. What a mistake that was. The staff was nothing but rude wanted to argue about everything, including the vaccines that were presented to them on a piece of paper. They completely scammed us and put us in a bind when they refused to take the dogs if they didn’t get “kennel cough”. We had the vet paperwork and the proof of vaccinations that they had had this May 14 2021. How is it the other kennels accept this but this one kennel would not. Blows my mind. My dogs were starving, thirsty, and had not been let out to go to the bathroom when they were picked up at 745am. We will not return to this boarding place. I’m response to your message. Zoe was given her rabies that day. We knew that one expired. As for everything else. It was in date. These are not false statements. Don’t worry we will not be back or recommend this place.

Left 3 dogs for an overnight stay and they seem to like it. They came back just like I left them. They were not dirty or extra stinky lol

I have wanted to leave a review for Paw spa 400 for a while now but I wanted to give them the chance to change their ways. It was my first dog boarding job as a high school student. I will admit they helped me get to where I am now. With that being said, from the dog boarding facilities I’ve worked at after Pawspa I would never ever recommend anyone to bring their dogs there. When I worked there the turn over rate was extremely high. The manager lacked on her people skills and knowing dogs behaviors. She claimed she has been working with dogs for over ten years I believe but didn’t know any dog social cues at all. I witness several dog fights that were caused by her misjudgment. When these fights were brought to the owners attention she blew it off as if it wasn’t a big deal. There were several outbreaks of kennel cough out of the three years that I worked there. Not to mention my own dog contracted it from the facility after only having her for only three months. The dogs are placed in a group play setting without a supervisor in the yard and no safety protocols if there was a fight to break out. When new clients brought there dogs for daycare they had no process of testing there temperament. They would just take them out on a lead and see how they would react with a heard of dogs running after them. The owner was only around about 2 weeks out of every month and sometimes it would be two months without her presence at her own facility. With that being said the manager was the only one to speak with the owner about what was going on at the kennel. The manager would twist and make anything go in her favor which would result in wrongful termination in several employees including myself. I ended up going back a few months after and started back on a good note but it all went down hill yet again and it left me no choice but to leave. I had to put my dog into foster care through an organization pawspa recommends. They did an amazing job with my little one and allowed me to board her there for two months with an amazing payment agreement. At that time of her being there I would visit her regularly about once a week and the longest would be two weeks. My friend had worked there at the same time she was in their care. I was updated on what was going on behind closed doors. My dog is grouped approved and has gone to daycare at other boarding facilities with no problems at all. When I came to visit the manager informed me that they had her in day care through out the day so that it would help her anxiety. But the workers and my friend both informed me she never once set foot in the daycare. She is a very anxious dog when it comes to small kennels. she would relieve herself and make a mess. Almost every single time I went to check on her there was either urine or feces in her kennel as well as feces spread along the walls because she is a jumper. One day I got a call that she had hurt her paw and she wouldn’t put any weight on it. I came the next day to see what was up with my little girls and she had a layer of her center paw completely rubbed off. No one had an explanation as to how this happened. On top of that no one did anything to relieve the pain or clean her wound. She is a pit bull and we alll know they have whips as tails. She got happy tail twice during her stay there. Did they do anything about it? No!! Did they contact me? No!! I had to go there every three days to clean her tail and bandage it because no one would take the time and care for it. I even told them I would supply them with all the medical supplies she needed but the manger and “kennel manager” told me I would have to take care of it myself. Over these two months she slowly lost a total of 16 pounds. I thought it was a result from stress. When I finally was able to bring her home I took her to the vet and found out she had hook worm. The manager said two other fosters had it as well and said they got it from my dog. Not even possible. Needles to say stay away from here. I’ve been on the inside and the outside. I have witnessed too much

Excellent! Our dog is a little "special" and the staff was so good to her; she wasn't even excited to see us when we picked her up!

Thank you so so much PawSpa for taking such great care of my dogs! Lucy, my hound mix, was abused before we adopted her so she can be a little difficult when it comes time to get groomed especially her nails (we’ve had to have 3-4 people hold her down before). I swear Alicia is MAGICAL. Not only does she do an awesome job, she’s does it ALONE. Will forever take my pups here. Thank you again, y’all are awesome! ????

Do not Believe all the fake reviews!! These woman are very rude to me. There was 4 women working at the counter. It took me 10 minutes to even get notice. They don’t not even say good afternoon or even acknowledge me until “I said I was there to pick up my dog.” And very rude tone” I will be with you in a minute” I was the only one there. A woman walked in to drop off her dog they immediately jumped up to help her?? Also they rip people off on Sundays charge them half a day and they don’t even open till 1 o’clock. How is it our fault you don’t open till 1 o’clock?? My dog smelled so bad when I picked her up how to give her a bath immediately!! I will never bring my dog there again! Very unprofessional!! I will advise everybody to do the same.

I've been taking my new rescue, Murphy to PawSpa for a few weeks now for doggy daycare. He is about 7 months old and full of energy. He goes about 2 or 3 times a week and is WORN OUT when he gets home. It's awesome. He has made friends there..Lily Bell and Phoenix. I love that they tell me about his day and who his buds were for the day. I'm so glad I found PawSpa and decided to try it out for Murphy. It's good for him to stay active and good for us to get a good night's sleep too. :) Highly recommend!

Best Doggie resort in the area. High 5 to Pasha. She truly loves all animals. Gives my dog hugs and kisses. You can trust your animals to stay at this resort!

I'm not sure why PawSpa has so many questionable reviews, so allow me to give you the inside scoop as a Kennel Tech that was hired only a month ago. (warning: long and detailed)! …

Super friendly and my dog seems to thoroughly enjoy going! You can get your furry ones a bath or nail trimming while they're there which is very convenient for me with my work schedule. Only advice I have is to not try and get there at 6 pm for a pick up! 400 northbound is a parking lot!

Thank you to Paw Spa Resort 400 Cumming GA for making our 13 year old bichon Biscuit feel welcomed and look beautiful! And letting him play with his fellow doggies. What a great place! So impressed with the tour of the facilities.

would not recommend due to the fact that, when picking up my dogs, I was bitten by a rescue dog that the owners were fostering. I had two puncture wounds in my forearm. I called my doctor, and he instructed me to watch it over night. it swelled up so I went to see him. he prescribed an antibiotic. they never reach out to me in any way to see if I was ok or if there were any medical bills to be reimbursed.

Simply nice to know my dogs are let out at least 4 times a day as they are big and active. I have never had any problems with grooming or boarding here. Only one time they came home a little dirty but it had rained that day so it was not big deal. The dogs were happy there.

Jax and Finn LOVE it here. All I say is doggy day care and they are at the door waiting to go. The staff is amazing and always greet us with smiles and nothing but love for our dogs. I’ve boarded them several times there, they always come back clean and tired, which is awesome. I know they’ve had a blast. I love this place and love each and every staff member.
