Friendly staff but results are questionable

Both of my labs have LOVED going to see their friends at the vet. This has also been coupled with the great service we get every time!

Great place, the staff really do care. They put the animals above profit and that shows.

Vets are not God and treating a patient that can't talk makes it even more challenging. I believe the doctors and staff are a caring and loving group that have feelings for everyone's pet. Our baby died of cancer recently and Cleveland Veterinarian was a rock. Bud and Fay

Always very happy and my fur babies are just as happy with the staff they're very informative very considerate and don't hesitate to answer any questions you may have.

It has always been a great place to take your fur babies. Everyone is so friendly and the vets are the best

????❤️ABSOLUTLY EVERYTHING❤️???? Let me just tell you!!!! I have never experienced a better vet’s office! I brought my Kona in with two!! Yes two!! Broken legs and the staff and drs were amazing and went way above the normal to make me feel valued. Special shout out to Tara for completely easing my mind and taking special care of Kona! Dr Mcdougal, and Dr Cox are very detailed and actually care about the pet and not all about the numbers!! Thank you all so very much! You have a client forever here!!

Made an appt. about my dogs hip dysplasia, hoping for some type of pain relief for him. Dr. Cox prescribed Gabapentin @ two capsules a day. Medical Dr.'s DO NOT start even people at 2 a day. Now my dog, my companion, is sick as I have ever seen. Dr. Cox did not go over any details about this medicine. He just said " Give him 2 a day". He did not make any mention of possible side effects or an allergic reaction. He has now chewed raw spots anywhere he can get his mouth. He is totally disoriented, and freaking out about everything and anything. So, I paid $455.00 so he could just about kill my dog. I have had several dogs, and this is the worst thing I have ever seen a Veterinarian do to an animal, EVER !!!! I might have to put my dog down now because I cannot watch him suffer another day !! So thanks alot Dr. Cox. I'll be coming to see you, you just wont see me coming as another appointment !! Till then .............. l

Used to love this place but unfortunately recently I’m going to have to change vets. Dr. Bill McDougal has got to be the rudest dr I’ve ever encountered. He had an assistant by the name of Leah who was just as much a nightmare. I do have to say the rest of the staff has always been respectful. So if you plan on making an appointment, I would recommend avoiding those 2 and ask for a different doctor. Sucks that 2 bad apples makes it not worth coming. I’ve spent an insane amount of money here, this is not how you treat customers.

We have been clients for over 30 years and can't imagine taking our pets anywhere else. Dr. McDougal is the greatest!

They're not very smart about taking care of certain illnesses in pets and if you take your animals there, they're not educated enough to know how to help you, but they will happily take your money anyway. Don't go there if you value your pets' lives. They will misdose and misdiagnose your pets!! Stay away!

Excellent service. Reasonable rates. My dog loves to go there. Highly recommend. Amazing staff and medical team! Very personable and caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I would not take my fur baby anywhere else for her check ups and boarding.

We are from out of town, but when I called and told them my dog had some kind of eye infection that needed attention, they said they were fully booked that day, but they still got us right in. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were so thankful for their kindness.

I did not appreciate back in Oct last year when I told the vet tech that my dog "HAS" had her parvo vaccine AT THIS VET OFFICE but was NOT allowed in the vet office until a parvo test was done. That was $75 unnecessary dollars to the vet. I also did not appreciate this past vet visit when my hand was slapped away from MY DOG from vet tech Tara when I spotted a tick. I was quoted close to about $130 to run a curve test and $25 a week to check BG levels until regulated. As I spoke with my mentor that is an AAHA certified canine & feline diabetes educator she told me I could run a home curve test with more accurate results and I can and should check my dog's BG levels at home dailey. Why I was "NEVER" informed that I should buy a blood glucose meter and run my own test at home makes me VERY concerned on being ripped off for unnecessary procedures considering that I paid $75 for an unnecessary parvo test back in October. Me & my 6 animals will NEVER come back to your vet office. Very unprofessional.

Rusty is not a easy dog to deal with but thay were great with him ( vca dahlonega hospital has people that are scared to death of Rusty) but not Cleveland vet !

Excellent as usual . Been going there since 1996 and have no complaints with the service and compassion they show.

I have never had a problem with this captain D's I have only been a few times every one was very friendly.

My husband brought our kitten in for a broken foot we were told the charges would be around $700.00 just to splint the leg and we agreed to it verses $800.00 to a $1000.00 to operate. Then I was called on from the Hospital and asked if they could go ahead and neuter my kitten we said no that we thought this would be too much for him having to deal with so much at one time and this was the end of the conversation until we were called back and offered a financial carrot of $50.00 to do the procedure. We thought there must be a significant reason for this price cut so we agreed and when we got the bill guess what the neuter cost was $86.78. I called and spoke to an individual who went and talked to the Doctor and came back and said they gave a price deduction in another area so our bill would not be more than $700.00 which it was it was $749.52. Needless to say the Doctor did not honor his verbal agreement. So get it in writting when you come to an agreement with this organization. I will be moving on to someone I can trust and will not lie to me.
