Delayed a procedure on our pet and than when my wife brought her in for a check up before surgery they prescribed an injection than 5 minutes later they tell my wife that the dog won't survive the procedure and we should think about putting her down. Than after we do call my wife demanding payment for shot that was a useless procedure. stay away if you love your pets as much as we do. Very unprofessional services!

We've been working with Acres Mill for the past year & a half when my cat Gizmo was ultimately diagnosed with kidney disease & a thyroid disorder. Dr Stewart has been compassionate yet realistic in her care of Gizmo. We've had some tough conversations along the way but she has taken the time to explain his conditions to me fully (even during Covid when it had to be exclusively over the phone) yet with concern & care. She recognizes that we love our pets & they are part of our family. Their fees are also manageable & they've been upfront about all the costs involved in his care & I can't think of a single staff member who hasn't been thoughtful & pleasant with us & with Gizmo. Thank you!

Acres Mill has always been amazing with our animals! The staff are VERY knowledgeable, and they just always take really good care of us. They won't do surgeries unless it's absolutely necessary, and I love that. They care and want to make the right diagnosis and they seem to always do that! VERY PLEASED!

The staff at acres mill have always been amazing- front desk (Eva), docs (Dr. Stewart), Kelly for grooming, and Casey as our tech. They have taken care of our babies for over 8 years. Highly recommend them. They are very professional and love our pets as their own

My puppy had an 11:30am appointment, we arrived at the Acres Mills Vet. at 11:00am. I called spoke to a tech to let them know we arrived and was sitting in the parking lot, (they are doing curbside service); I see the tech assisting other customers bringing pet and paperwork in/out of the office. 1 hour later (12:00pm) I’m still waiting to be seen, needlessly to say there were other people coming to the office after me; the tech walks over to help them. When I call inside and ask if everything is okay and tell them that I have been waiting in the parking lot for an hour. The tech says “oh, I thought you said you were running late” . WTH are you kidding me??? I am sitting in this small parking lot for an hour, in a big black SUV...the reality is I was being IGNORED and LOOKED PASSED. I call to speak with the doctor, the tech puts me on hold so long I hang up.

Acres Mill is by far the best vet I have ever experienced. Their level of professionalism and caring for my pets is unmatched. My entire family trust these wonderful people with all of our fur children.

I called in asking to schedule and appointment for the ONLY day I wasn’t working. The woman who was trying to schedule me basically said my dog needed to be seen ASAP and I need to bring him in the next day based on the symptoms I described (vomiting, constipation). I tried to tell her I literally work every day except for the one I asked to be scheduled for. She still insisted I take him in the next day. I gave in and she put me down for 12:30. I asked someone to take him for me because of my job That day I dropped him off only for them to come to my work telling me he was denied his appointment because the office said it was 12:00. I have proof of the confirmation at TWELVE THIRTY. All this stress for them to completely switch up on me.

I called to see if I could have my puppy's x-rays and blood work sent over to them because he needs surgery and the lady who answers the phone just acted like they couldn't do it, didn't have the time, she made excuses and just sat there then said, "well today is my surgery day." Then didn't say anything. Like you do ONE surgery day a week! Unreal. I'll never spend a dime at a place that APPARENTLY doesn't need customers there. She needs a new job, one that doesn't require answering phones because she's definitely not bringing in business.

Dr Michele Stewart and the staff at Acres Mill do a great job! We just went through a difficult week almost losing one of our huskies to HGE and after his emergency vet care and then continuing care at Acres Mill he pulled through! Dr Stewart called to follow up and see how he was doing and I really appreciated that. Then only 5 days later our other husky (12.5 years old) was deteriorating and we decided to put her to sleep. Dr Stewart and her staff were so kind and compassionate fully understanding what a difficult time it was for us. She and Dr Cooke both signed a handwritten note and Sympathy card and mailed it to us. I highly recommend Acres Mill Veterinary Clinic!

We’ve been taking our dog here for the last 4 years. They are wonderful here. My dog has serious anxiety regarding the vet and they do so well with her. They are always able to get her in for an appointment quickly. Pricing is very reasonable. Would recommend to fur parents. ????

This is by far the worst veterinary clinic I have ever been to. One thing that that disturbed me was that prices would bounce around for my dog and they would never stay the same on certain things. I spoke to my “Neighbor” and he had the same issue. Also the girl upfront And some of the staff are very rude. I have worked Dogs in the military and also out of the military and I have been to many veterinary clinics and this by far is the worst one that I have ever been to. My advice this place is a scam and pick another clinic.

I have used Acres Mill Vet for the last 3 years and could not be happier. I have 5 cats and some need specialty care that they are able and happy to provide as well as well care packages. What a great team!

I've been using them for years and Eva and the front office staff are so kind to me and my elderly mother. The vets have always treated us with respect and are very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks Acres Mill!

Dr. Stewart and Acres Mill staff have been a great help in the care of my dogs. Compassionate and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Acres Mill for anyone seeking excellent pet care in the canton area.

I would give no stars if I could. They are totally unprofessional at this clinic. I recently needed a vet for my German Shepherd that broke her leg trying to get away from a wildlife attack and they refused to even look at her. So I went to another animal hospital in Jasper , they were very caring and took verrrrrrry good care of my German Shepherd and she is on the road to recovery. Take my advice I wouldn't take any animal to these guys.

This vet is absolutely amazing. Friendly staff and clean facility. I've checked around and their prices are fair and some even lower than other vets. I'm so glad I've Dr Stewart and her team.

You need to think twice about using them ever. They thought they had my cc on file and when they realized the did not they called me 4 times in a row every day until I was back in town. They even sent me 2 emails a day, I told them that I was away. They even called my office and were rude to my staff. Unbelievable. They also threatened to inform the magistrate court and all of this was in the email they sent. by Leighann Pierce who i guess is the owner. Yeah what a class act.

Worst vet around. I've had several horrible experiences due to emergencies and them being close to my house. My most recent bad experience involved a starving puppy. It had not eaten in 3 days and would not eat. They would not see it at all because I admitted I didn't have a lot of money right now. I explained I would have plenty in 4 days but they did not care. If they cared about animals they would have tried to help the dog rather than their pockets.

I brought my pet in for an annual and grooming. Doctor was very nice and explained what they were doing and what things I need to keep an eye on. Didnt try to push things on me, explained what they recommend and gave me options so I could choose what works best for my budget. Then when I picked her up from her groom she looked amazing. So cute with her little bows and smelled so clean. Will defiantly be back

Very disappointed. On our first visit with a new kitten the Dr. seemed very nervous and was unsuccessful in dispensing oral medication...my gut told me I should step in and do it myself and never go back! Second visit to board our dog we were called 15 minutes after drop off and told we must come get him because they were unable to calm him down...he's 13! Once again, should've gone with our gut feelings but took our kitten back a year later for an emergency and ended up having another vet take care of what the Acres Mill Dr. was nervous to handle himself! I hate to make negative comments but 3rd times a charm...we'll be taking our pets to Ball Ground Animal Hospital moving forward...those folks know how to handle animals!

I am SO angry. These scam artists are trying to get $100 out of me to "physically" exam my dogs before they can board there...... I was already going to be dropping $300 to board them for 10 days, but you know what I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I won't be paying $100 for them to "physically" exam my dogs (that have DO updated vaccines and blood work) by just looking at them and saying they're good to go. Don't go here if you value your money. Freaking con artists.

Absolutely the worse vet ever they didn't give my in laws our dogs medicine when they were picked up and they charge you for nail cutting when they don't even do it. I do not recommend this vet to anyone!

I love that I wasn't pressured to buy a fancy product! They reviewed the pricing before services were rendered and before medication was administered. The staff truly cares about the animals. Thank you Acres Mill Veterinary Clinic.

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Acres Mill V. C. for 5 years now and they have never let me down. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I use their boarding service almost monthly. At times I have to leave my dogs for a month at a time and I've always felt confident they were getting the best treatment during their stay. My dogs show their excitement when ARRIVING and leaving their facility. The kennel area is kept very clean and the dogs have enough space to roam while they are outdoors for play time. I have also taken my dogs in for medical issues and Dr. Alleyne has always been caring and helpful in taking care of any issues.

While on vacation a year ago we boarded our dog and he unfortunately ended up suffering from beginning stages of renal failure. We were told he could have months to live when we asked if we should cut our vacation short and head home. Two hours later we received a phone call that he would need to be put down. This happened over a year ago and it is still leaves a huge hole in our heart. The vet that took care of our pet is no longer with the clinic so hopefully this will not happen again with someone else's pet. We have since rescued another family member and we are using another vet.

I can always count on Acres Mill Veterinary Clinic for appointments, even when they're last minute. Thank you for being there when my dogs and I need you, we greatly appreciate it. I've recommended Acres Mill Veterinary Clinic to all my friends and family.

I moved from Kansas and found this place. The staff are really nice at Acres Mill Vet Clinic. I really like Doctor Stewart. She is very thorough and so gentle with my dog. I appreciate that so much.
