I have never written a review like this: I would leave 0 stars if I could over the poor animal husbandry shown at this store. I observed the larger tank with 3 young guinea pigs had no hay. I then observed that the very small 10 gallon tank with 2 adults also had no hay, and the leafy greens were yellow from being old. As a pet owner, this upsets me. Guinea pigs should have 24hr access to fresh hay. I alerted 2 staff members, both seemed oblivious to them needing hay. Zach stated "we only give them a handful of timothy hay in the morning since it has too much fiber" Young guinea pigs require Alfalfa hay, not timothy. The humane society states that 1 guinea pig requires a minimum of 7.5 sq ft of space. And once more incase an employeeof this store reads this, they should ALWAYS have access to hay, pellets are not a replacementto hay. I will be reporting these issues and the lack of knowledge by staff to corporate. This kind of care and housing is absolutely unacceptable and cruel. Whoever buys these pets is sure to have health issues from the poor nutrition they are being given.

Grooming ladies are very sweet

I drove 1 and a half hours today to get to this store because they have such a good aquatic section. I arrived shortly after 7 (they closed at 8) and as I was looking at the fish a lady stormed up and very rudely told me the aquatic section was closed for the day. Another customer that had also been browsing with their children spoke up and said that the same lady had told him to leave earlier and come back at 7. Her response was "Fine, what do you want?" I promptly left because I did not want to deal with someone so rude. This was an unacceptable way to treat customers.

They're always amazing happy and helpful. I've never left there with any issues nor problems.

The store staff was very friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well organized. Pricing was very reasonable and clearly marked.

I recently adopted a pet from a local shelter in Buford Ga and as a thank you from the shelter given a number of coupons for pet related merchandise and also some for products and services at Petco store. Today a $5 off coupon for Hills dog food presented at this store but the store refused to honor it. In addition the cashier/ manager was rude and talking down. This is the second time in trying to use Petco specific coupons. 2 wks ago tried to redeem one for an online purchase but coupon rejected. After calling customer service I was told the coupon needed to be presented in store, but was never able to use it;It’s clear Petco isn’t interested in giving good customer service. My family spends a lot of money in Petco as we have 4 pets. Spending about $90+ dollars on dog food alone brings in revenue to this store a month, but they can’t honor coupons that clearly are for their store. I have spent $100s of dollars this holiday season alone for supplies and gifts. Will not do business with Petco again. People beware Petco does not appreciate your business!

What a worst customer service this place has. Called to ask some questions, a guy had no knowledge about the service store offers, I had to repeat to him so many times. I could tell he wasn't listening to me. Suddenly I was talking to another person, and he was rude as well. Very impatience and giving me totally wrong information. If I was at the store and I got this rude service from them I would've been really mad!!! I will never go to this place!!! Two rude guys there!!

I was assisted quickly with a female knowledgeable about fish to help me with my purchase and she answered all my questions.

If I could give this place negative reviews I would. Their customer service is absolutely pathetic. The older lady today with blonde hair had the worst attitude out of any employee I’ve ever seen. I came in and asked for crickets and the lady continued to ignore us. They are always out of stock or either ration their crickets and when I privately said something about it to my spouse she became rude and aggressive.

Yo I bought fish today and it was pretty lit. And the girl who was helping me get them ( I don’t know her name ) was super cute lol. Give her a raise she was really nice.

Good prices, but this store smells fishy or like hamsters.

A nice lady with red hair helped me find what I needed. She is very knowledgeable. The store is clean and organized, but not all the staff is helpful.

Store was crowded and only limited number of workers on the floor to assist with pet purchases and we keep getting overlooked because everyone keep stalking the only workers that were busy helping others. And i had to return for my paperwork on my animal the next day because the one worker that actually finally helped me did give me all the paperwork I needed and really didn't know her job to do so apparently shes never sold that kind of animal before since she didn't know what all to give meat the time of purchase

Many types of pets to choose from. From fish to ferret's. Guinea pigs to Rats. Bearded dragons to pythons. Food for most any type pet as well as toys, bedding, and much more. I would recommend this place no doubt. Hero enjoyed the ferrets the most I think.
