I moved recently and needed my cat, Benny, to see a vet since he’s been on medincine regularly. They got my cat in right away! The staff was all super friendly and helpful! The vet as well is really nice, makes sure your pet gets the best care and makes sure you understand the pets needs. I’m glad my cat is in their hands. Benny also approves!

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Hornbuckle for several years - for annual check ups and for some very serious medical conditions. His integrity is beyond reproach and his medical expertise among the best! In cases where a specialist was needed he didn't hesitate to make the appropriate referral. His compassion for his 4 legged patients and their owners makes him a rare professional in these times! I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Every facet of Mac's visit was handled with efficiency and professionalism. The whole staff loves dogs.

They are very attentive to their clients and treat them like their own! Our fur baby was depressed while being boarded when we were on vacation and made herself sick. They girls did everything they could to make her feel comfortable and kept me in constant contact to how she was feeling. We picked up one happy baby that had also bonded with the girls in the kennel. Thank you you Golden Isles Animal Hospital for going above and beyond!

I cannot tell you how lucky I feel that I found this wonderful Vet!! I am staying in Brunswick for a few months and my Fur Baby was just terrorized with itching. She takes all the regular meds but nothing was working & she was just miserable. Dr Hornbuckle had a rather new remedy to try before going through expensive bloodwork. It was a HIT! She instantly stopped itching. So much better than she was even before I came to Brunswick. Cockers are notorious for allergies but this was a Home Run. Very affordable treatment that can be repeated if need be every 4-8 weeks. Thank you all so much for giving my Bailey her life back ❤

It's never easy to say goodbye to a family pet, especially when they are leaving too soon. The staff here had gone above and beyond for me. The "give it to me straight" response while also trying to be supportive was handled very well. The acceptance of scratch pay also was very helpful in a situation that was very tough. I hope that I can visit them again one day without a heartache but until I accept another pet into my life I wish the staff the very best.

Golden Isles Animal Hospital has a caring, efficient and friendly staff - from the front desk to the vet techs to Dr. Hornbuckle himself. We couldn't have selected a better place to take our cat!

Due to unfortunate situations I needed to cancel my appointment. When I called earlier that morning to state I was canceling, they hung up in my face. I wanted to reschedule for a late date but wasn't given a chance to say that. I will NEVER patronize this animal hospital. Horrible customer service.

They are always good with Darby,he just runs in to those lovely ladies!!So we got a beautiful weekend off and so did he!!!

Very kind and knowledgeable. I was touched by this and so was my cat, she was happier after the visit. I was from out of town and needed vet services. They got my cat's records from my home vet and reviewed them in order to make the best choices for her. They really love pets here!

Do NOT take your pets to see Dr. Hornebuckle for anything else other than a routine checkup. Please, do yourself and your loved one a favor and take them to a more experience veterinarian in Savannah or Jacksonville. Be aware not to be pulled in by them doing multiple tests and no answer, improvement of your pet’s health, or a referral to a specialist. What a shame for the community of Brunswick!

My wife and I are SO pleased that Dr. Hornbuckle and these ladies are right around the corner from us. They are so good with our Cookie Monster and wonderful people all around. You can tell they love the animals and take pride in what they do. They don't mind being the bad guys but I'm sure it takes its toll when they love the pets so much. We are so fortunate to have this great staff. Lorial, Sarra, Casey, Catherine, Becky and Dr. Hornbuckle... thank you for being great with our kitty and with us. Appreciate you guys.
