I was with a friend who had to put her dog off 12 years down last Monday when she opened up a card from AVH. It was the pawprints of her pup and a card from them. She literally cried. You guys made her day

AVH is the perfect place on so many levels. Dr Stacy and Dr Graf work from their hearts...and it's so evident in the way I've watched them taking care of my senior boofer-kitty. The staff is so friendly and sensitive to whatever your situation might be. Everything is explained to you in advance so there are no surprises. As a past vet tech I recognize a quality practice...and AVH gets an A+ and 5 stars across the board.

THE best! I was so thrilled to see Dr. Stacy return to the Decatur/Avondale area. I had another vet I was very happy with - but no one beats Dr. Stacy for being a caring, thorough, and highly competent vet driven by empathy and compassion. This practice is a place you can trust to give the best care for your beasties with integrity. No sneaky add on procedures or products, just fair prices for great care. I have one ginormous cat who sees an at home vet because I have to risk life and limb - mine - getting him into a carrier. But I'm willing to risk having my arms shredded to ribbons so that he can see Dr. Stacy, to whom I apologize in advance for his likely bad behavior prior to sedation.

These two vets are awesome. You can trust them for the best care of your fur babies!

Following a very positive recommendation from a friend, I took our newly adopted kitten to Avondale Veterinary Hospital for booster shots and ear mite treatment. Due to COVID-19 precautions, I couldn't go in with her, but Dr Stacy and all the staff there were calm, friendly, and professional. They called to follow-up to see how Pearl was feeling and worked her into their busy schedule. I feel very confident that Pearl is receiving great care there, and I really appreciate their great customer service.

All I can say is that everytime our dog needs to be looked at or we have a question we call and Avondale Veterinary Hospital (AVH) staff take care of our issue 100% with love and care. It is so comforting to have such a great resource in our neighborhood. Recently our 1 yr old male dog came in from the backyard limping. We checked his foot and felt his leg but it all seemed normal. We called AVH and they said puppy advil, support the leg and rest / relaxation (R&R). We took him with us shopping on Saturday so one of us could monitor his progress. The next day his leg showed improvement with a little limping. Day 3 and he was back to chasing squirrels and patroling the backyard. We love AVH.

Everyone at Avondale Veterinary office is great. They take such good care of my sweet angel doggie and they will be meeting my my new kitty soon. Exceptional care for your pets.

Exceptional practice by caring, professional doctors and staff. Awesome communication and follow up. Moreover, routine visits are incredibly reasonable, and the doctors are completely conscious and upfront about the financial commitment that more complicated treatments may require; this is not a "boutique" vet's office, it is a down-to-earth, no-guilt practice run by people who care about animals. I'm so grateful they are here in Avondale Estates, but for you and your pet's sake, this practice is definitely worth a road trip.

Everyone here is so kind and helpful! They take great care of my dog and are always honest about what she needs immediately versus what I should just be keeping an eye on. Definitely a great place to bring your pets!

Dr. Stacy is an intelligent, compassionate vet and seems to have found a staff that love working with her. When I moved to my current house, I was worried I wouldn't find as good a vet as I was leaving behind, but I feel very lucky to have found someone even better. Highly recommended!

We took our dog here to get her set up at a vet and I am really happy with our choice. The vet tech and the vet really cared about our dogs well being and took the time to listen to us and talk us through things. The vet gave us her email and said to reach out if we had any concerns.

I have been taking my cat to Avondale Vet Hospital for a couple years since I first adopted him. Dr. Stacy effectively answers all my questions, even over email. All the front desk staff and techs I've met have been helpful and professional. My cat has had a couple health concerns that required visits and medication to treat. They made space for me to bring him in for an exam once when it was urgent. As a first time cat parent, it's good to have a vet I can trust.

The absolute best vet I’ve ever used. The whole staff is always extremely nice, helpful, and knowledgeable (especially Dr. Stacy!). I’m so thankful I found them.

I first encountered Dr. Stacy at another vet hospital nearly 10 years ago. I knew immediately my kitties were in good hands with her. Highly intelligent, diligent, committed, honest HONEST HONEST, and clear with communication. Not to mention, she respected my pets-- she sees them, acknowledges them as my family member -- not necessarily my fur baby but as a true member of the clan under my roof. Her biggest help was with Bean, our kitty. I took him to her at 6 months. He was adopted. Been in and out of 3 homes already, we were his 4th. He seemed to be having a lot going on-- and she figured out, that despite his young age, he had stomatitis and his mouth was covered in lesions and he was in constant pain -- basically born with it. I was in shock -- how can I help him?? My budget was TIGHT. Without judgement, she talked me through options, viable financial options that would also be the best route for him; not compromising his care just beacause I can't afford it. On top of it, he had herpes. Then he started wetting the bed without reason (he was JUST a bed wetter, who knew that was a thing?). Under her care, he got better in all cases. He didn't just survive through it, he thrived. I feel a lot of that is because through it all, she kept saying, "This is an amazing cat. You've got an amazing kitty here." Plus, she spoke to other specialists across the state and nation to help her with him. When she left that vet hospital, I was truly heartbroken. It's been nearly 3 or 4 years without her in our pets' lives. So imagine how happy I was when I found out she was back! JUST DOWN THE ROAD. I'm so happy. She's met our new Kitty Gray, who is having some weight and anal gland issues -- and has figured out that Gray may have a food allergy. (The last vet I took Gray to said there was nothing to be done about her health.) Dr. Stacy has a strength and wisdom to her care that i've not encountered before. I'm glad to have her back.

We have entrusted our two dogs' care to Dr. Stacy at Avondale Vet Hospital for a very good reason. Having experienced Dr. Stacy's professional and compassionate care of our dogs for over fifteen years, we can easily say that she is the finest vet we have ever known.

Nothing good to say about a vet clinic that puts a pet's health at risk for a personal vendetta based on half truths. Strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

They really care about my dog

I’ve relied on Avondale multiple times for help with my old little pup. They’re super flexible and responsive and always find time to fit me in. I appreciate their genuine concern for both my dog and me, and the prices are much more affordable than other local animal clinics. Highly recommend!

I was very worried about my cat, and nervous about not being able to be with him during a quarantine examination. The staff here all made me feel very comfortable and at ease, and I knew my baby was in good hands! I definitely recommend these vets to everyone!

Covid Safe Masks and door to Car Service. Communication was great via cellphones.. With pickup times and drop off times. Post instructions personally by the Veterinary DOCTOR. Professional. I loved it.
