Suggs Kennel Augusta, Georgia

We had our dog here for 5 days during the Christmas week . The staff was friendly and the cost was low . The problem I have with this place is there was over 85 dogs here when we got our dog and he was covered in his own pee . They did not bath him and he was like this for almost 2 days . We had to throw his bed out when he got home and bath him. He has been not himself since we picked him up. From what I can see there was just to many dogs to take care of . But also if you leave your pet here and they have an accident they won’t call to tell you . And they only bath them if they are scheduled be bathed . My dog will not be going back here .

I have brought dry dog food and canned dog food to this place so they can take care of my dog all they did was give him dry dog food can not very friendly people only maybe about 1 I think his name was Samuel would not be bringing my dog back there ask to have a dog bath nobody gave him one before I pick them up

This the third time I used Suggs and never came home and find my baby in this way. It looks like he was bitten by ants or mosquitoes. I take new bed for him to lay on but was told it would keep him laying on the cool concrete.Well I wish y had left the bed. Then he and my girl came home coughing and gagging. My Vet said they had Kennel cough and it was contiguous with dogs. It’s a good place and friendly staff but the five days my babies were there, they didn’t have great care so they will it be going back

I have used Suggs kennel before with my pet and the quality of care was great but this time I left both of my baby’s with them for five days.When I arrived at home with them and saw the elbows I couldn’t believe my eyes, there was rawness to the front and hind legs. And don’t mention the bites from the mosquitoes it’s all over the body on both . About two days later my babies begin coughing and gagging, my vet said that it was kennel cough, they might have gotten it while at the kennel. I have never seen my babies body like this ever . And this is a different staff then before, but my babies will not be going back there. If pictures were allowed it would bring tears to your eyes.

Suggs does such a good job. They took are of my cat for almost 2 weeks and did a great job. I recommend Suggs Kennel!

We have used them two or three times and all times our fur babies are very well taken of. Just remember they only take cash or check as a form of payment. :) Highly recommend.

Great place to board your pet. Summer is always in good hands for her visits.

Been using suggs kennel for over 30 years Both pets have pulled them self in and you can tell they are well attended too.My wife called it taking them to camp.

I’ve used Suggs kennel multiple times in the past 3 years. The owner and staff are all extremely nice and it’s very obvious they have a passion for what they do. They have a great facility, very clean, professional, easy to do business with and always very accommodating. I’ve used other kennels in the past, and was not ! always satisfied, But Suggs kennel is top notch !

Our dogs are always so well taken care of, and the employees are very nice. We feel very comfortable leaving them in their good hands.

Great location off Washington road. They have all the necessary resources including dryers for wet dogs. The Kennel has an in and outdoor area for the dog. It's a little different than what I'm used to from typical kennels. The staff though do love dogs.

Suggs Kennel staff have been the biggest blessing for me! I've just recently moved to Augusta two months ago and they have been very accommodating while I've been traveling a lot lately. The thing that really makes my day is how excited they are to see Snoop when I take him there and how excited he is when he leaves. The atmosphere is warming and I really appreciate the staff for all that they do. I highly recommend this place.

Ask for Mark!!! Great kennel which is family owned and operated. Prices are also really great. Mark was so helpful over masters week! These guys are very flexible and were so helpful and really enjoy what they do. Highly recommend this kennel.

This has been a great place for us. They do a great job pampering our princess beagle Charlie. She loves the staff and enjoys going to get groomed.
