My Scottish Terrier has been groomed by Raymond at Pups and Tubs for 9 years! He always does a great job with her, and she absolutely loves her time with him. Raymond is a true professional who loves and takes great pride in his work! I just wanted to update my review. I have used Raymond at Pups and Tubs since he opened his business - actually since before he opened his own business. He has always done a wonderful job with all of my dogs over the years. Also, my dogs have always loved him. When I mention Raymond, they get very excited - can’t wait to go!

I had a difficult time scheduling an appointment with Raymond. He does not give specific times for drop off or grooming and would not state how long it would take to groom my dog. The shop is crammed with dogs kept in small crates for hours until he can work on them. He shooed me out of the store before I was able to ask any questions. When I came back to ask a question, he refused to groom my dog, saying “it seems you are the one with separation anxiety” so I am taking my business elsewhere and would recommend others so the same.

He shaved our morkies and cut one with his razor. She required 4 stitches. He did not mention he cut her, and charged us more than usual as well. Awful service, awful place!!!

I took my dog, remy, to pups and tubs several times. They did good at first but this last time I took her, it was a horrible job. The owner then told me he was moving to France and he is closing shop. The shop is very much open. I texted him to ask if he was still open and turns out he has blocked my number. He responded to my friends message within an hour. I have a Bischon-toy poodle and I will attach photos as to what she normally looks like and what her horrible last haircut (the one with bows) looked like. Update: he has called me and threatened me with lawyers for defamation. I wrote my review based entirely upon true events. I am glad I got my dog out of there when I did.

I emailed to request an appointment for our Newfy-Golden-poodles mix for a summer cut because she gets overheated easily in hot weather. I emailed a photograph and the owner agreed he could do the summer cut. When my daughter dropped off the dog she was told that he would do what he could. He refused to do the summer cut because in his estimation her fur should not be cut. She looked great and had a cute bandana on but did not get a summer cut as requested— we paid almost $100 and did not receive what we requested. I wish he had given his opinion on summer cuts before I confirmed my appointment. To be clear, I did not ask for my dog to be shaved— I asked for a summer cut— our dog had one last year and loved It. Nice groom but no haircut... will not be returning.

We've been taking our Goldens to Raymond for years. He takes great care of them and provides full service grooming needs. He is super thorough to make sure we are educated and have happy groomed fur babies!!

Our golden retriever Moose had a great visit and came home looking and smelling great!

Pups and Tubs is a very good and very professional dog grooming business the owner raymund is very good at what he does I have a miniature schnauzer named Dutchess and he has her looking fantastic every time and I would highly recommend anyone that needs their dog professionally groomed.????????????????

Ray truly cares about every dog that comes through his shop. My dog would get very nervous whenever he went to his old groomer. Not any more. He is over the moon excited to see Ray. Our dog always looks great at the end of his appointment because Ray spends the right amount of time on him and has great attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Excellent care. All the dogs were happy and our dog was comfy too. Great great grooming of course! Plus we had a heads up as soon as our dog was ready. Thank you!

Pieces were uneven and it looks like he didn’t even bathe her. It was also $80 for my 9 pound dog to look like she was assaulted with some hair scissors.

Is there a better groomer in Atlanta? I doubt it. Is there someone who cares more about dogs than Raymond? You’d be hard pressed to find anyone. We have been going here for 5 years, and nothing but a stellar experience. We ???? Raymond!!!

I feel so lucky that I found Pups in Tubs. There is no one I trust more to groom my dog than Raymund! He is amazing! His heart and his talent make him the BEST! It is evident he cares so much about the dogs as if they are each his own. I highly recommend this place!!

I’ve been taking my dog to Raymond for years and he does a great job. Levi loves going there and comes back so clean and smelling fresh. I have tried several groomers and Raymond is by far the best. Highly recommended!

We have been bringing our Rufio here since he was a puppy. We wouldn't take him anywhere else. Raymond is the sweetest, gentlest, kindest groomer there is. If we could give him more than 5 stars, we would!

horrible attitude and customer service

Oh my goodness one of the best, if not THE best, groomer I’ve been able to find for my pooches. I’m so picky and particular and it helps when your fur babies actually like their groomer. My boys love Raymond so much and he’s so good with them. His work goes beyond grooming but he lets me know if he notices any skin changes or potential issues too. Just amazing services. I always recommend Pups and Tubs!

I don’t normally give negative reviews, but this was a horrible experience. The owner refused to groom my dog because he had some matting. This was acceptable to me until he continued to shame me for not brushing my dog enough and even went so far to say it was cruel to allow my dog to develop matting. (He had about three or four that I removed within 20 minutes after a bath at home). I truly wanted to love this local spot but I was treated horribly and brought to tears. I even had my baby with me so he could see why I didn’t have time to bathe my dog before bringing him in but that didn’t stop the criticism. I could understand if my dog was infested with knots but he was not. I took him home, bathed him myself, and removed the knots easily with some conditioner. There are many other experienced and professional dog groomers in town that have worked on my dog with no issues. This was a HUGE waste of time. Do not take your dog here unless you are 100% sure they will be an easy client.

We love Pups and Tubs! Raymond is the best. He is talented, kind, and we trust him 100% to take care of our dog, Olive. She is so excited every time we are walking to Pups and Tubs and starts wagging her tail as soon as we ask if she wants to “go see Raymond”. He always does an excellent job but more importantly always makes Olive’s comfort and safety his number one priority. There is nothing more important than being able to trust someone who works with your dog or children and we trust Raymond 100% to do best by our dog. Thanks Raymond!!! You are truly the best.

We love Raymond at Pups and Tubs! I have been taking my Maltese Mix there since she was old enough to be groomed and we have only had positive experiences. My dog actually runs in the door when we get there because she is so happy! I feel lucky to have a place like this in the neighborhood to take her that she loves and comes home with a flawless cut every time. Totally recommend to anyone who wants the best for their dog.

After trying other establishments in town, and always unhappy with the results (and our Morkie traumatized), we're thrilled to have found an experienced groomer. We love the honesty, artistry, and most of all, trust Ray with our sweet girl....she didn't want to leave at pick-up. Great experience for all of us!

We have been going to Raymond for years. He was recommended to us by a local Airedale breeder. We love him and my dog Jemma adores him. And she smells and looks wonderful everytime I pick her up. Grateful to find a groomer that I trust who is kind and loving to my dog. Raymond is the best!!

Raymond is the sweetest groomer I have ever met!! He treats his clients dogs as his own. My bischon who is normally barking when I pick him up was relaxed and at home with Raymond. Can't say enough great things about pups and tubs!
