We’ve been using East Atlanta Animal for a few years now and my poodles have always been cared for well. All the staff we’ve interacted have always been friendly and easy to speak with.

I've been a client since the early 2000s with two different pets and always received great continuity of care. The staff is thoughtful and kind and their genuine love of pets absolutely shows. They have always been there for our family when we needed them. In COVID times, they quickly initiated protocols that protected them and their clients because they understood how essential they are to the pet owners in this community. I am so glad they've made a home in East Atlanta and I hope they'll be here for a long time to come.

Friendly staff and good communication. They will meet at vehicle, discuss treatment and take pup/pet inside for diagnostics/treatment. The veterinarian called me three times to provide updates while I waited outside. Very professional staff.

This place is terrible. We tried this clinic, left for another vet when we moved away from the area, and came back to nothing but disappointment. They are unresponsive with an extreme lack of genuine care, not to mention ridiculously overpriced. Charged us $45 for a “telehealth” virtual visit where I chatted (texted) with the vet through an app, no one even called me. As a result of this virtual visit, they misdiagnosed our dog with kennel cough when she actually had severe bronchitis, resulting in 2+ weeks of unnecessary suffering for our pet. Do yourself a favor and take your pets elsewhere.

I was less than 10 mins behind schedule for an appt. which given ATL traffic is a reasonable window of tardiness. However, upon arrival I was told I could not be seen. When I pushed back I was told they accepted the appt. that was schedule 30 mins following me and that I would have to wait. I proceeded to wait an additional 35 minutes before I was seen for a scheduled appt. The front desk clerk seemed unreasonable in her rationale for not seeing me and for my repositioning in the queue. I expect that my appt time will be honored even if I’m a few minutes late. Furthermore when approached by the manager regarding my frustration she was dismissive and unapologetic. I would rather go somewhere else slightly more expensive where I can trust my scheduled appt. will be honored and my time respected. UPDATE: after seeing my review the manager told me I was no longer welcome and that I should be “ashamed of myself”. For simply communicating my expectation and not allowing my appt. to be dismissed? That type of language and disposition as the forward face of a company is shocking. I would expect as a paying client that this service provider would prioritize their clients over their egos. I expect better. I will happily take my business elsewhere.

Honestly, they're just great. My cat is really chill with them, and he's not overly fond of new people. They're really upfront and transparent about costs. They're friendly, efficient, and professional. Going during COVID hasn't been a hassle at all; they were super clear about the curbside instructions. Edit 7/28/21 Really nothing to add, except I continue to love how they treat my cat. You can really trust everyone here to do the job right.

This place is wildly expensive and mediocre. They price gouge every little thing. It’s hard to imagine they can even care about the animals if they charge as much as they do. They charged me 100 dollars to look at a lump on my dogs leg “it’s fine”. This time I told them my dog was limping and tried to charge me 600 dollars BEFORE I EVEN WALKED IN. They also don’t allow you to go into the exam room w your pet. I have a very anxious dog that needs me and it would help if I could join him, they suggested sedating him which cost almost 200 dollars. Save your money and go to a place that cares about animals.

We own 2 homes miles apart and therefore have 2 vets that previously saw our pets. After recently moving to downtown Atlanta we needed to find a local vet we can trust. After searching the local vets we decided upon EA Animal Clinic and we are very happy. Our other 2 vets did not see a problem that our 7 year old pug was having and misdiagnosed her (they have been good vets so this is not a blemish on them) so we brought her here and they immediately found the issues. Unfortunately they had to refer us to another facility for a procedure but we feel very comfortable with this vet and staff and will continue to come to them with all of our pets. The staff is very caring, courteous, professional and obviously want the best for their furry clients. 100% recommend.

I was very pleased taking Duke for his 1st visit @ 9 weeks old, I was nervous because I couldn't go in with him, but they eased that fast. Raye was great with my baby????

Dr. Schilke and the rest of the EACC team have treated my 2 year old kitty since she was a kitten and have provided the best care! I really appreciate the attention we receive from Dr. Schilke and that she assesses all aspects of my cat's health - not just the immediate issue. We receive full exam report cards with the vet's recommended treatments after every appointment that are always extremely thorough. The team is also great about providing estimated costs for treatment prior to appointments if you're concerned about the expense of treatments. I recommend EACC to all my friends and would suggest you check them out.

I've always appreciated the care that they've provided to my dog. I've felt like other vets in the area treat my dog like a used car trying to get me to purchase additional services. I've always felt like EAV Animal Clinic gives fair advice with the best health of my dog in mind.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE East Atlanta Animal Clinic! I took my senior cat Nugget in today for a sick visit and the staff were phenomenal. It was my first vet visit during COVID and they have great safety protocol in place. When I arrived, I called the front desk and they connected me with a vet take who did some basic intake. The tech then came out to take Nugget inside while I waited in the car. Nugget must not have been in side more than 10-15 minutes before the lovely Dr. Brennan called to give me a very thorough update. Dr. Brennan is so sweet, warm, kind, and truly passionate about animals and their owners. She walked me through every step of Nugget’s current and potential future care and discussed pricing options as well. She then transferred me to the front desk so I could pay, and five minutes later the lovely take brought my sweet Nugget cat back outside to me. The entire visit, even with COVID protocol, last only about 35-40 minutes. The staff are incredibly kind, supportive, patient, and sweet. I highly recommend them for all your fur baby needs. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of care you get is above and beyond.

I submitted my forms as requested before the appointment. Upon arrival, I had to call to let my dog in and was informed that the forms were not yet received. From there, I re-forwarded the forms and they responded that they were unable to find them in their own inbox. Even after showing on my phone that the forms were sent to the correct address, the staff's suggestion from there was for me to fill them out by hand, in the rain, while I had my dog on a leash. I truly cannot fathom worse customer service.

Disorganized staff and really crummy experiences. I normally wait 15-20 minutes each visit and have to explain the reason for the visit multiple times to different people. Was :25 late for a visit today, but the receptionist told me to stand by for a call from a tech. I then waited for :30 minutes to be told my appointment was cancelled. This of course is a week after I dropped $1,500 on a surgery. Also worth noting that my experiences with the Vets left me feeling like I was being spoken down to and the decisions I’m making for my dogs are not adequate. I can’t help but feel bummed out after our visits. After this last episode I can’t imagine a situation in which I can continue to support this clinic. I highly recommend you avoid going here unless you enjoy feeling like a burden to the staff. There are other options very close by.
