I love Belle Isle so much that I referred my sister Melanie and her dog Harper there when she moved to Atlanta! They have always been wonderful to me and my cat Savannah.

I love having Belle Isle available. My last dog had epilepsy. They were sensitive, caring personally. After he died they also sent a sympathy card.

Great treatment during emergency when our 4 mo.old goldendoodle puppy got bit directly on the tongue by a copperhead snake this past spring, Dr. Wolko and team did an excellent job and he survived the bite. Thank you Belle Isle Animal Hospital Team:)

Dr. Wolkow is very good with my large dog who is nervous around strangers. The staff are always friendly and appointment times are kept.

Good evening pet owners and lovers of animals! If you are looking for a wonderful place to take care of your animal look no further! While there are many options of Vets in my area we drive 25 minutes to receive amazing care at Belle Isle. The office staff is always prompt with answering and returning phone calls. They also respond to emails quickly as well. I trust all the Vets there with my pets' lives. We switched to Belle Isle because another practice wanted to perform unnecessary surgery on my dog. Dr. Wolkow went above and beyond to make sure that my sweet Sadie did not need this surgery. Talking to her is like talking to friend. She is honest and knowledgeable and will help you make the right choices when it comes to your animals. Our love for Belle Isle and all those who work there in as strong as their love for providing amazing care to all the animals that they see.

We couldn't be more pleased with the experience we have had for our two dogs with Belle Isle Animal hospital over the past 5 years - and especially over the past 3 months. Our more senior dog has had two entirely separate incidents in that short timeframe. One seems to have been a snake bite and the other some form of gastrointestinal infection. In both cases the ailments masqueraded as something else and the Belle Isle team demonstrated great care, commitment, patience, empathy, and expertise in sorting through the options and potential treatment paths. We worked with all three doctors (Wolkow, Carr, and Whalen) across the incidents. They backed each other up and provided exceptional care, always focused on what was best for our pet. All other routine care, boarding, and other services are delivered by a great team. But these recent experiences really set them apart.

I would never consider going to another animal hospital. Everyone on the staff is caring, supportive and eager to do whatever is needed. Kudos to all and special thumbs up for Dr. Wolkow.

I have been going here for years. While it is often tough to think about the price of treatment for two dogs, I ran a research analysis and Belle Isle’s prices are very competitive - while knowing the quality of service is going to be so great every time. During the pandemic, to keep the staff safe, you cannot go in with your dog. We had a lot of health issues due to mold this year. I wrote out all of my questions prior and emailed them to the staff and let the assistant know where to find them during our appointment. The doctor then stayed on the phone with me for ~10 minutes after the appointment addressing each question and concern on my list. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking. They really do care about your pups/pets and will make sure to treat them like their own pets at home. One of my dogs isn’t even scared to go in or to the back alone anymore because, we’ll, I’m not sure, … he must get treats on the inside. ????

Called over the phone as my dog was out of her meds and the young lady was condescending I stated to her on my initial call the pharmacist faxed over refill info three days ago and faxed again yesterday she stated “I WASNT HERE TGREE DAYS AGO” she was not helpful I heard a lady in the back ground saying we have a fax from the pharmacy she then stated it’s been back with the doctor for approval I’ve had problems with this office before however I like sticking to one place for my baby needing this type of meds it doesn’t cost anything to be nice

I rate Belle Isle 15 out of 10. They are the best. I have a 14 year old poodle and a 4 year old papillon. Been going there for 14 years. All employees are kind and compassionate. Recently we almost lost our poodle, but they pulled him through. I highly recommend.

The entire group of physicians and staff are wonderful. They are responsive and professional. Dr. Wolkow worked with me when one dog had cancer and passed away and we rescued two dogs that had been abused. She is wonderful not only with the pets but also with the parents.

We take our cat and dog to Belle Isle. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And the place is laid back. My 6 year old son usually comes with me when we bring one or both pets. He loves it.

Belle Isle Animal Hospital is a wonderful option if you are looking for a vet. They take care of our two dachshunds and a rag doll kitty, and have always been there when we have needed them. Super vets and great front desk personnel....they are all friendly and welcoming.

We've taken our pets to different veterinarians over the years but we have never been as satisfied as we are with Belle Isle. Caring, reactive and proactive... they are super quick to respond to any questions.

We have been going to Belle Isle Animal Hospital for over 22 years. The owners may have changed but the service never failed and improved even more. The staff is very kind and loving with our pets. The doctor makes us feel as if our pet is her only concern even asking for weekend updates. During COVID their process was efficient and we continue to feel safe. Our dog today, Oliver is never afraid to go in and seems excited to see the staff no matter the reason for the visit.

Our dogs are family to us, and I have always felt that everyone at Belle Isle Animal Hospital feels this way too. They take the time to follow up and always squeeze us in if we have an emergency. All of the vets and techs are great and so is the front desk staff. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I had two geriatric "kids" who needed TLC and I needed advice about their care. They were so gentile, sweet and understanding. I have never had vets who sit on the floor with my pets. This small gesture is huge to calm our little ones and make them feel special. I HIGHLY recommend Belle Isle! All vets and staff are caring and professional.
