Great Veterinarians!!!!!!!!!! I cannot make it clear enough: GREAT VETERINARIANS.. with a mostly friendly staff...one of the Orderlies had a nasty attitude, not a nice bedside manner imo...maybe she was having a bad night or didn't want to work that evening ????‍♂️ who knows...but the kitty was able to heal well and QUICKLY after his visit with the vet...I would recommend this business to anyone with a pet they love if they're in need of emergency pet help because: GREAT VETERINARIANS ????

I was a client of AHSS for almost 11 years until I moved to Dallas in 2016 and overseas in 2018. Valentino ( my sweet boy) and I returned to Atlanta this past October. Vale turned 16 years old on December 25th 2021. Unfortunately, he got very sick and so, I decided to contact AHSS since they used to take care of him since he was 4 months old. Sadly, he got diagnosed with Acute Renal failure. The vet assistance(she was so sweet) and the doctors were so kind and supportive. They truly cared for Vale and his well-being. Dr. Ella Ahearn was the best thing that happened to Valentino and I. She was so sensible while was explaining to me that Vale’ condition was terminal. The news crushed my heart because my boy has been with me all over the world and I was not ready to let him go. However, I was not ready to see him suffering just to keep him with me. Anyways, I decided to send my baby with God. Dr. Ella sent me home with Tino ( his nickname) to spend my last night with him. I came back on Thursday and Dr. Ella was so compassionate that she performed the procedure. I want to highlight that she didn’t work that day but she knew that I was going to really appreciate her presence. The Dr and I cried, which made me feel understood and supported. I don’t have enough words to thank everybody in AHSS. If you care and love your pet, this is the best place to take him/her. Thank you Dr Ella and the assistance ( she told me her dad was from India- sorry I cannot recall your name)!

Simply amazing! I took my dog Guinness here after he suffered a dog bite at our local dog park. They were able to fit him in the next day! The tech came out curbside today pick him up right at our appointment time. Unfortunately, his wound was pretty extensive and Dr. Gafford came out to talk to me and explained everything in a clear and comforting manner and they fit him in that day! Everyone was so pleasant and took such great care of my big baby. Also, for surgery including antibiotics and wound culture was $850 which shocked me as I was expecting to pay much more. He wound looked great and he has been recovering well. They provided us with an invoice that included care instructions as well as the note. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend them.

Very patient, kind and flexible staff. They all took a great care of my cats for a wellness check up and vaccination visit. THANK YOU!

Animal Hospital of Sandy Springs is efficient, professional, and very friendly. Prices are reasonable for vet care and exceptional for grooming. I am glad I found them after moving to ATL from FL.

This place is amazing. Woke up to a sick pooch and they got me in right away to take care of her. The prices are quite reasonable and they are super nice.

Animal Hospital of Sandy Springs is wonderful! The whole staff is friendly and caring and making appointments is super easy. Our dog, Lucy, gets nervous about going to the vet, but they take such great care of her. Highly recommend!

My dog had to have surgery a few weeks ago, and I was extremely nervous. The level of care and compassion they provided to not only my dog, but to me was amazing. My pup has been going to them for almost 9 years and they have always provided such great care for him.

I can't compare much to other animal hospitals due to lack of experience, but this one seems a little more premium. I appreciated the communication and attention to concerns.

Great find! Our normal place was booked for a month. Our English Springer needed a groming badly. We felt good about a new place being a vets office. They were super helpful over the phone and cheaper than our regular place. Did a great job on our little buddy.... We may have a new place!

I brought my 16 week old Golden here for some vaccinations and an eye infection. Even with the curbside situation due to covid I am so impressed with the level of care and service here. The paperwork was simple, staff was super friendly, and Dr. Ahearn spoke to me on the phone about all of my questions and concerns. I felt like they truly cared about my pup and didn’t rush with me or her. I think we found our new vet and I feel completely at ease and comfortable letting them take care of my baby! Thanks guys you were very thorough and helpful!

The entire team is very kind, caring, and super knowledgeable about our furry companions. We came here with our 8-week-old Golden Retriever, and it was an amazing experience with the vet explaining to us everything to expect during his puppyhood. Now he’s 6-months old and loves coming here, and they love him! Thanks!

Brought my dog in and they prescribed medicine which had adverse effects. In trying to call and email multiple times, no one ever responded. Seriously? Very frustrating and now I’m dealing with a dog with worsened health. Wouldn’t recommend for ANYONE.

We were very pleased with the professionalism at this place. This is the place for any pet-emergency. I was blown away by the integrity and honesty. I definitely will be back in case of an emergency, they saved the life of my sweet Georgia-Clay

I have been taking my kitties here for several years. They are an amazing group! They make me feel like my pets are so special to them. The always give the best advise and service for my pets. I am so happy that I found them after my old vet retired!

The doctor is great the people at the front desk you may have to keep them on their toes ask questions make sure u get assurity and maybe remind them of ....(what ever )

They have been such a blessing for my fur babies. Genuine passion is always comforting when pet concerns are involved

The best vets around! They really care about your animals and address every concern you have. This vet is great for dogs and cats and other animals especially guinea pigs!

Vet was both very knowledgeable and very kind. She highlighted areas of interest that we should keep an eye on but wasn't aggressive about pushing for treatments my pets didn't need. She solved a running mystery with one of our cars that other doctors just shrugged off and called allergies for years.

Absolutely love this place. Dr. Smith is incredible and took such great care of my kitty. Everyone is kind and helpful. I will be taking my pets here for years to come!!
