If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. My GSD was a hot mess. He was extremely reactive on-and off-leash, counter surfing, jumping on people...you name it! Courtney was able teach Sunny there are options other than reacting with lunging, barking, etc. She was able to concentrate on the negative emotions and teach Sunny more constructive ways of dealing with his stress and anxiety. As a result, Sunny has become a more calm, neutral and even happier puppy. Sunny is still very young, and he does have a way to go before he's "my dream dog" but he has a solid foundation, thanks to Courtney. Even more importantly, when you run a business your skills go beyond your trade. That is what makes Bold City K9 stand apart from other trainers. Courtney has been phenomenal! She is very solution focused and has taken a great deal of time with me to assure mine and Sunny's success. I can't be more grateful for all the work they have done and I look forward to Sunny's continued success.

Courtney and her team are AMAZING! My dog Ellie is a Boykin Spaniel and if you are not familiar with them, they are very high energy dogs. I called Courtney for help when I was literally on my last straw with Ellie. Ellie had no self control and was absolutely crazy 24/7. Courtney asked me what was important to me and scheduled me into one of her training programs and off Ellie went. Fast forward to current day, Ellie just turned a year old and I am able to comfortably have her not only on-leash, but also off-leash anywhere I go and know that she will obey and listen. Even in the busy city of Atlanta!! Ellie is able to go into any public place without me giving any hesitation or second thought of it, including flying on a plane with me. Courtney was able to shift all that wild energy into something positive. The training was worth every penny! To this day, Courtney still answers any questions I have. She also made this Facebook group where we are able to communicate with others that have used her and ask questions and she posts videos for more simple training exercises or techniques. No matter where you are in the world, I would hands down recommend Courtney and her team. You won’t regret it!!

Absolutely amazing transformation of our dog!! We have a first generation bernedoodle pup who turned one year old while he was with Courtney. He was a good and smart dog, but very excitable, was terrible on the leash, had issues with jumping up on people, and would go crazy to play with any other dog. Courtney did an incredible job in addressing all of the challenges listed here and more. Stewie is the perfect dog now. He still makes some mistakes, but they have been easily corrected since Courtney also trained us. On of our concerns were that after five weeks of training, he might not remember us -- that didn't happen; and that the training would break his spirit or affect his personality. That didn't happen either. We got him back with all the things we loved about him and none of the things we didn't. If you've got a pup who needs training, this is the place to go.We cannot recommend Courtney and Bold City K9 enough. As Courtney says: "discipline is freedom". In Stewie's case, it truly is!

Courtney changed our dog’s life! Every concern we had was addressed…. And so much more! We get compliments now about Poppy being the most well behaved dog. That NEVER would have happened before her training. We have so much more freedom with Poppy now. She can go places with us without us worrying about her behaviors. Only regret is not taking Poppy earlier! I’m forever thankful to Courtney for training Poppy and teaching me how to keep the training going at home.

I started working with Courtney to tackle my dogs reactivity and off-leash obedience issues. I needed direction and she provided the perspective and knowledge I was looking for. She was extremely flexible and accommodating of my unpredictable work schedule, and most importantly had my dogs best interest in mind. The results I’ve had with my dog have been amazing thanks to her guidance. I’m glad to have her as a resource and will definitely go to her with any training needs that come up in the future!

Bold City K9 and Courtney are amazing. Our GSD Dash went through board and train back in November, we were able to do a quick follow up today while Courtney was in town for work. She is always available for questions and really sets her clients up for success. We truly can’t thank her enough.

From start to finish, I couldn't be more happy than I am with Bold City K9. The communication was great throughout the whole time my German shepherd puppy, Memphis, was there. I loved getting the pictures and progress reports. He came back the same sweet, cuddly, goofy puppy, but with manners and amazing communication skills. I would, and do, recommend them to everyone I know looking for training.

Courtney and Gavin at Bold CityK9 are the best of the best! Our lab/pit mix Sunni recently completed the Board and train program. The changes in Sunni are remarkable and we owe that to Boldcity K9. Not only did Sunni gain confidence and freedom she deserves, but she gained a true love for her trainer Courtney. The love and patience Sunni was shown while in their care was beyond anything I ever expected. If you are on the fence or considering training for your furry friend. Do it!!! Spoke with the owner. I felt it was all about the money very very unprofessional. Didn't even want to meet my dog first. You should always see where your dog's going at the facility how they treat your dog everything.... Amazing You are so full of lies you did'nt even call me back On time I had to text you you were 2 hours late calling back but you sure were able to email me to ask me for money Greedy greedy greedy

I took my German Shorthaired puppy to Alyssa when he was 5 1/2 months. He was so out of control I needed help. She did an amazing job with him. Another very important thing about his training with her is the fact that when she came to visit our home for follow up he was thrilled to see her. That says volumes about her ability to have not only his respect but she was gentle and loving too. Five stars is not enough .

Courtney and Gavin were amazing in teaching my lab obedience and how to act in public. They always communicated with me in progress of how my dog was doing, and the transition back to us was smooth! For sure recommend!

Cortney is an amzing trainer we had gone to training previously at another facility and were disappionted when we had later questions or issues that did not get followed through on. I had saw her training at a park we fequented and looked her up to see if she could help us . She did just that we have had amazing results with both of our dogs through her training program. I am happy to say we can now see a squirrel and not try to run after it a whining at times but it has been life changing for my male dog. Also with our female she has learned more and more self control with the method that she has provided. Both dogs also had insecurity issues from previous methods and with the one we were taught here has really brought both of them to a calmer state of mind. We couldn't be happier with the results and new training that we recieved from her. Thank you again!

BCK9 is one of the most professional dog training businesses I've seen. Courtney is very straight forward in her consults and training. She gives great direction and has made everything for me and my dogs much more clear. Her level of education is very apparent in our lessons, and I can't believe how easy she makes everything seem. I'm glad I chose her and will continue to choose her with future dogs. She also does a great job working around my schedule which can be very hectic.

Courtney is amazing! Our very high energy lab Toby spent five weeks with her and has been totally tranformed. He now heels wonderfully on walks, is great with extended stays and has been doing great being off leash and coming when called. I never would have imagined he would have been able to learn so much in five weeks. I would absolutely recommend Bold City K9 for any dog owner looking for a trainer!

Highly Recommend! Our experience with Bold City K9 (Courtney) has been excellent. Courtney presented herself and her service to us in a very professional manner. We understood clearly what our responsibilities were and how she would help us achieve our goals for our dog Sophie. Our results, have been excellent. Sophie has made steady progress and is becoming the obedient dog that we were hoping for. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We did a lot of research to try and find the best training possible for our Golden retriever puppy. We came across Bold City K9 (Courtney) which was the best decision we could have possibly made. Courtney, aside from her clear love for animals, is an extremely professional and educated dog trainer. We did the 6 session advanced package and let me tell you it was beyond worth the money. She gave us the tools and skills they we will carry with us for a lifetime, to get control of our very hyper puppy. She worked with us at home, and when we reached a certain level (which was fairly quickly ) she then would meet at certain "high distraction" places such as the pet super market, doggie parks ect.. to work on her socialization skills. She is a fantastic trainer who turned our crazy girl into such a pleasant companion that we are able to take with us anywhere (great off leash training as well) which is awesome because we like to bring her with us where ever we go. She doesn't just "teach" how to do something, but the reasoning behind it. She knows her stuff and her resume is impeccable and proven after only 6 sessions which is super impressive. She totally worked with and around our schedules which wasn't always easy with our work schedules. You can not put a price on her knowledge and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is considering training because it is the best thing you can do for you and your pup. THANK YOU COURTNEY!!!

Courtney with Bold City K9 did an amazing job with my German Shorthair Pointer! I was that frustrated owner that had no control of their hyper dog before I went to Courtney. Kreacher was there for her board and train. In the time he spent with Courtney the level of obidence he reached was astounding. I went from having a dog with no impulse control, bolting out doors, no recall,and no respect for me, to having a dog who was able to look at me with respect after I spent time keeping up with his training. I'm now allowed to have my dog off leash with many distractions and I'm still able to call him and he comes to me. The amount of impulse control he gained is amazing. I can't thank her enough for the time and effort she put into him.

Courtney does an exceptional job with my Weimeraner. We are doing private lessons currently and the results are fantastic for William. Definitely Give Bold City K9 a call if you are in need of training.

Courtney is absolutely amazing. It was not cheap to send our dog for a board and train but it literally saved his life. Our dog (Emerson) had lots of anxiety/aggression issues and was impossible to manage even though he is a small dog. Several dog trainers refused to work with Emerson due to the severity of his issues. Courtney is extremely professional and went above and beyond what we expected of her. After 6 weeks with Bold City K9, he is off his anxiety medicine and literally a completely different dog. He is calm, confident, and listens to directions. He tolerates the presence of children (his biggest trigger previously) and no longer acts out when he is nervous. I can’t tell you enough how happy we are that we used Bold City K9.
