The staff is very attentive and professional. I am a first time dog owner and they are also very patient with all my questions.

Sat there for 6 and a half hours only got talked to a few times times their prices are ubsurd literally use the fact that you have an emotional attachment to the animals to extort as much money out of you as possible 700 for an x-ray 160 for office visit and 5k for a surgery went to another vet surgery was 1200$ if you have any other options go there first ASPCA tlc regular vet anywhere but here unless you like getting extorted out of all your money

The employees here are rude! I brought my dog in for pain. He'd had an accident and couldn't walk well and kept falling. I took him back for refills (he's now on monthly maintenance meds) and they gave him 3 days worth of meds. Seriously? You want me to come in here every 3 days to get him meds? I'll be looking for a new vet immediately. I don't even care if I have to drive PAST this office. They were not nice at all.

Dr Dunham has been taking care of my dogs and cats for over 20 years. That says I all.

They help us my dog was really sick they did not just take my money they help my baby girl

Great prices but 3 weeks out before they could get us in and unfortunately can't wait that long.

I took my kitten in because she had a stuffy nose. They gave me antibiotics. Later that night she had a seizure. I called the morning and they said antibiotics can't do that and since it stopped to just keep an eye on her. She seemed to be ok and was eating a little. Later that night it happened again so I took her to the 24hr animal hospital off dundee. They did a bunch of test and she had some kind of toxin. She can't get into any cleaning supplies, the rest of my cats and dogs are fine, it just so happened to occur the same day this clinic gave my baby medicine? Well, her levels were so out of it and she wasn't getting better we ended up having to euthanize her. My baby is gone because I trusted this clinic. I should have taken her to the hospital during the day instead of trusting them that I should just keep an eye on her. I was naive and stupid to trust them and now she's gone. Never again will I go to this clinic or suggest them to anyone.

Always 5 stars from me. I have been going there for years now and miss Dr. Dunham but have to say I really love our new vet. She is very good with my dogs and they like her. Thank you Dr. Davis. She doesn't fat shame them but actually talked to me about how to bring their weights down. Well 2 out of 3 labs anyway. Seriously thow love taking my dogs there, will be staying.

One of the best veterinarians in Polk county. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend. Even in the lock down they were prompt, accommodating and went out of their way. well worth the drive from anywhere in Polk county.

Every time I have to take my baby to the vet I always forgot something… the ladies at the front are amazing and deal with me at least once a month for medicine. I will definitely continue to use Dunham animal hospital! They are amazing with my baby and always give lots of lives????

Very nice place and clean

I've been bringing my animals to Dunham for at least 15 years. They are probably the most reasonably priced veterinarian in Polk county. They are always kind and caring. I recently had to have my elderly dog euthanized at the emergency vet across town. I received a sympathy card from the Dunham team. They care. They even call or text to check on us after an illness or injury to one of our pets.

Very pleasant staff. Call when you get there they take your pet in and bring them back out when their done.

They are fantastic.....girls are very professional.....they show affection for your pets like they were their own....Drs. are great!!! My dog has been going there since she was born and she is 3 1/2 now!

When my vet of 40 plus years retired I had to find a new one. What a nightmare! I knew Dunham had been around a long time too so I decided to give them a try. Even during these trying times they have gone above and beyond. The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable. They followed up with me regarding my cat's visit and spent more time talking to me and answering questions than most doctors do. Thanks to Dr Smith and everyone else for taking great care of Ali!

Call you while you sit in the hot parking lot to pay. And not very nice at all. 3 different ladies waited on us and we were in are van hot for 35 minutes. Not good services Go Some Where use.

Poor staff. Tried to get an appt and no ine felt like it wasimportant they were busy enough.

Fast and friendly service! Very customer oriented and professional . First time taking my puppy to this vet and they were very helpful. Lindsey was able to accommodate me to today’s schedule and very helpful. When I arrived I called them to let let them know I was there. Stephanie, very friendly as well came out shortly and asked me what was going on with my puppy and took him inside the facility. The doctor was extremely nice and understanding. The doctor also called my 6month golden retriever handsome ????. I was very pleased with the service here. I drove from Lakeland to this place. I think I just found my baby a new caring vet. Highly recommend this place.

One question. Why still curbside service? We have been a long-time customer. I recently scheduled my lab a visit due to constant scratching. She previously was prescribed allergy meds and I forgot to ask for more back in September at her last check up. I was told that she needed to come back in. I’m not sure why they could not allow me to just pick them up. On the way to my appointment, my cell phone died and I did not have a car charger that day. I walked to the door and spoke with a technician that was walking out. I told her about my situation and she asked for my pets name and asked which vehicle was mine. I responded and she said someone would be out soon. Thirty minutes later someone walked up to my window and said they were trying to call me. Obviously the message was not received. The end result was them not being able to see my dog because I had no way of communicating with the vet. We have now switched to Compassion Animal Hospital. For anybody wondering, they do allow owners inside with their pets. Masks required. Totally understandable. Curbside is ridiculous. I wouldn’t send my kid into the pediatricians office without me. They’d be terrified. My dogs are right up there with my child. After researching other veterinary clinics, I noticed a lot of them aren’t accepting new patients. How has COVID impacted animal services in such a way??? I was considering posting a couple of years ago and changing vets then, but I regrettably decided not to. Back then my lab was seen for her skin condition from allergies. This is when she was first given allergy meds. They also gave her a shot that day in the lower hind leg. Over a two week period, she developed a golf ball size lump at the injection site. Thinking it was likely just a reaction to the shot, I took her in. They threw the word cancer out there and of course I wanted to make sure she was okay, so we had it removed and biopsied. I should have went with my gut and just told them to remove it or whatever they had to do to get it to go away. I never should have agreed to have it checked for cancer. I knew it wasn’t cancer. They did, too. I feel as if they took advantage. I unfortunately let them get me for $600. The incision was very ugly as well. It looked like someone in training may have done it. Due to the location and the condition of the scared skin (thin), it frequently reopens.
